Course conditions have been up and down this year but once they got through July of 2026 it is in much better condition. Other courses had their issues unless city owned or unlimited budget for water. My last round was a 4 star experience. Not the cheapest but a great round of golf. Ok. I heard that it was in better condition so we thought we'd try it again, but the overall grade is one star. For the $115 that we were stupid enough to pay it was not even close to being worth it. The greens and tee boxes were in good condition but the fairways and sand traps were absolutely pathetic. The burnt patches on the fairway were ubiquitous and the sand traps had far more mud/dirt (and Rocks! See photos!) than sand! To pay that kind of fee for those very marginal conditions is just crazy!! Don't do it!!! For us = Never, ever again!! read more

Pine Creek or Sh$t Creek? What happened to this golf course... Just a few years ago it used to be the BEST public course within 100 miles. Today it's still the MOST $$$ public course within 100 miles, but looks like an absolute Donkey Track! Even the driving range looks like an abandoned parking lot. DON'T say it's the weather ... I played Kings Deer and Patty Jewett (both much less $$$) in the past couple weeks and they are in absolutely pristine condition. Do Better or sell it to someone who will. read more

I am a college golfer and I played it with my brother who is also a college golfer and we had a great time out there. Also, everyone that was working there were all super positive and happy to have us and our dogs out there. A big thank you to the course. Great course with friendly staff. Was well maintained even late in the year. Bartender was also great and offered prompt service.

I have played this golf course since the year it opened and it is in great condition tee to green BUT you are paying a premium price and not getting premium service. Carts have no GPS. The tee boxes had no markers. There was no drinking water available on the course. No rakes in the sand traps. No sand in the sand traps. No beverage cart. No starter. Front desk person did not greet us- he was on the phone but made no eye contact with us said nothing to us until he got off the phone 10 minutes later. At that price point compared to EVERYwhere else i play its not worth it. Hope they get better. read more

This was my first time experiencing Pine Creek Golf Course. Upon arrival we had to buy our tickets because when you buy them online they're only reserved. The man at the front desk was not very helpful with that. it's a very nice golf course, taken care of all around, bunkers aren't tough, fairways are clean, greens are smooth. We were told to have the golf carts back by 5, we finished the last hole we could and then drove back, which by the way it's cart path only. we had only been late by about 7 minutes, and the man managing the golf carts was not understanding whatsoever. We tried to help him understand and apologize but he did not cooperate. it was very rude. Ruined the last part of my golf round. Overall, great looking course, would recommend for play, but if you want to be ridiculed and judged by employees, come to Pine Creek Golf Course! read more

$130+ a round and $15 for a bucket of balls and don't even have sand in 85% of the bunkers. Comical what public golf has come to and Pine Creek is a great example. Better off going to Castle Rock, Parker, Aurora or even Pueblo. Won't be back until this is addressed. read more

I'm a 5 handicap and a general manager of a restaurant downtown. I was so excited to play this course. Get there and they seem to think they are pebble beach. Very stuck up and complete lack of good customer service in the pro shop and food and beverage area. The "pro" was rude to the guys in front of me checking in and to us as well. The course obviously needs a renovation inside the pro shop and restaurant. I play twice a week and this course is 10 minutes from my house and I won't be back if it stays the same. Talked to a guy in the parking lot during the frost delay and he told me how rude the employees are all the time so it leads me to believe it's been like this for quite some time now. Sorry to give one star because it's a good course. I just have to slam this place because I work in customer service and this is not okay. Clean up the clubhouse it's pretty ugly for such a nice area. I would love to return if there are some changes. read more

Good course itself. Usually some major issue with groundskeeping somewhere on the course to play around. Pace of play would be untenable for a lot of golfers and unacceptable for many. Walked away from a round after 3hrs and 30 minutes and was on the 12th tee box- not worth it. read more

Hello, My son and I played this golf course together. It was such a hard course but we came to the conclusion that this was one of the best public golf courses that we have ever played. Pine Creek also has a great driving range that I could hit a driver on. We saw a lot of reviews about the pros being rude to the customer but we did not have any issues with the pros. While we were coming to Colorado Springs, we only had the space to bring my golf bag holding both my son's clubs and my clubs. The pros were very generous and they let us borrow a golf bag for my son's clubs. This was such a fun and interesting golf course. read more

Played there on Saturday morning. The lady behind the bar was very attentive and nice. She took care of everything we needed before we teed off. The course itself is challenging but fun as each hole is different. I would like to play it again when the greens aren't coming off over-seeding. Warm up and get your game in order on the front nine cause the back nine is really tight. read more

started out great. all two somes ahead of us, took a whopping 3.75 hours to shoot 9 holes.. back 9 there were 2-3 other two somes waiting on another 2 some, pace of play was not there. people waiting on par 5 holes to even step into the tee box until the group ahead was on the green then proceed to drive the ball 125 yards. a group of kids behind us talking yelling and carrying on while people were on the tee box. very unprofessional. be aware to start a tee time early here it will be an all day escapade. read more

Play today was terribly slow, triggered by the difficulty of the course and the fact the starter pushed groups off the first tee one after the other with no thought to spacing. Visiting the area and play golf on a regular basis. Challenging course with lots of bunkers and trees. Hard to know where to go on the first play but was provided with a guide book which was helpful. Very beautiful setting and backdrops. Unfortunately the golf cars are very out dated, no gps and very few yardage indicators on the course besides 150 sticks. Disappointed to pay a high greens fee. There is a beverage cart with no food. At the turn, there were no pre-made sandwiches so we waited for food before moving on to the back nine. In the meantime a few groups passed us and we really got out of rhythm having to wait 15 minutes for sandwiches. This golf course could be much better run. read more

Just played this course today (5/27/22) for the 2nd time and will never play it again. I do not understand how the course can icharge $90 a round with such absolutely abysmal conditions. I would not go back if it were free. Most of the fairways and greens are in horrible shape. Sand traps are hard and have large weeds growing in them. And, even some of the tee boxes are awful. I understand 'winter kill', but this is pretty widespread on the course and the rate does not reflect the conditions. I typically do not post negative reviews, but I do not want anyone else to have the same deep disappointment I had today. read more

Pine Creek has undergone some changes for the better this year. They finally got rid of all the range balls that were worthless and replaced them(finally). They opened up a chipping area near the putting green(was previously closed because that was the area blamed for people stealing range balls....totally untrue and unfounded but was the scapegoat) None the less there are now two chipping areas, sand practice area, and a nice putting green. The range needs work. Its wide, hard to judge distance to the flags and is near dirt. The thing you need to watch out for is the fact that the range is HUGE wide open and you start on the #2 HDCP hole that is narrow and difficult. Course usually comes back from winter pretty good. Over all, the tee boxes, fairways and greens are kept nice. Greens are true and get pretty quick in the warm summer months and in fall. Look for deals online. The Marshall staff use to be over the top telling you "don't do this don't do that etc" but it seems the new management has mellowed them out a bit. Go see Roby the bartender in the restraunt and tell him "c'mon man!" read more

Covid restrictions at the course left little to be desired today. The clubhouse is not open for public restroom use and the ports potties in the parking lot where full and disgusting. An on course bathrooms had no toilet paper and no hand sanitizer available. Considering the round cost $80 I would expect the amenities to be more presentable and adequate. read more

If it was possible to give 1 star I would. Booked twilight tee time for 9 holes on a Monday and it said $29 online. The absolute dense head in the pro shop charged $60 and when i mentioned it to him he said that the website is wrong. BS!! If i'm paying $60 for 9 holes at 5:30 in the evening this better be a top tier course. NOT!! One of the worst maintained golf courses i have ever played. Me and my buddy said screw these guys and went on to play through 14. The same guy in the pro shop was waiting for us to get back because he saw us go out to the 10th when we were done and gave us a proper lecture about etiquette. My response was far from polite. Poor experience made worse by high price. Grass clipping clumps left on practice putting green and also on several greens on the course. Driving range closed for so called 'clean pickup' of range balls, very spotty course conditions with multiple sprinkler sites being dug up. Sand traps have been totally neglected (weeds, no sand, no grooming). A shame considering the good layout and past good conditions. Now know why it was so easy to book- apparently word has gotten out that the course is in such shabby shape. read more

Been going to the range here for 4 years, about 30 times a year and it's the best on the side of town by a mile. I can't play on the course as often as I'd like, but it's a pretty track that's usually in good shape if the weather hasn't been extreme. It's a little tight and a shot making kind of place, but never boring. Staff are super nice and it's pretty close to where I live. Great range prices! read more

Looks like the super is on vacation, or drugs. Course looks like they don't care anymore. Greens were crap, fairways had brown patches and water damage. Tee boxes were unkept, divots and damage every where. And they had the gal to charge $79. Cart girl was nowhere to be found except on the back nine and then appeared to not even care to ask if you needed anything. Pine Creek use to be a really good course, I won't go back it's so bad. Okay so the course itself is a good value for the $49 I paid on GolfNow. Greens were pretty fast and the course conditions were good. I wouldn't pay more than $50 to play this course. The two star rating is for the grumpy employee working in the pro shop when I checked in. They had open tee times online at 6:30 am and didn't open up the pro shop until that time. I had arrived early and chipped and putted for a while so I didn't really mind that part. However, the employee was quite annoyed with me and actually became snippy when I told him I wanted the online rate. I felt like I was an inconvenience to him and his day. I did enjoy my round in spite of Mr. cranky pants and would play again as long as somebody else rang me up. read more
