The woman at the front was so brash. Cost Warrenton locals: $6 kids and $7.50 adults for the pool area, playground is free. They have family lockers and rooms to change in which is really cool. Everything is clean. Pool area isn't ventilated well and needs fans. It's more humid inside than out on a hot day. They also have minimal seats with broken chairs if you're a bystander. There are three lifeguards on duty which makes you feel secure in the size of the play area, some of them however have their feet kicked up and are talking to each other on walkie talkies so not sure how much attention they are paying to the kids. The kids had lots of fun inside and outside. Loved going down the big slide and playing in the water area. It is a good break for the kids and I would recommend it, as long as you know all the rules and regulations ahead of time.

When I voted here, in the Senior Center, it was great to meet and greet with volunteers from the Senior Center who told us more about the activities they do on that side. They put on social events and dances and educational programs. I would have never known. There is a Louduon Rec Center Guide that comes out seasonally. Within it, there are classes for kids and adults on activities at the rec center and surrounding. I signed up for a few things for our family members and other than one event, they all were exceptional! I recently came for a Play All Day event. There was demonstrations in the lap pool, scavenger hunt in the leisure pool for kids, Bounce houses outside, dancing class for seniors, live band and food trucks, etc. It was amazing to see the facilities and use the rock wall for free. The daily passes to the rec center are so reasonable too with $6 for adults and $4 for kids. They even have family passes if people from the same house hold are coming together. As I continue to discover more and more about the recreation center, and meet all the wonderful people that work here; I continue to get more and more amazed at this place and their offerings. And the venue seems like it could easily fit 500 people reception style. There is a lack of parking, but the large expansive room makes up for it. I don't remember that being there. Plus they updated their sports fields. A big and great park, right on the grounds with the Shenandoah University. (Which also has changed a lot). Due to a lot of parties at the shelters plus being close to the road, I hope they have a park clean up day. Not everyone is so respectful to the land.

The whole facility is very clean and nice, and it's affiliated with GMU. People from Mason were practicing things like color guard in some of the spaces. The rec center also looks like the run a daycare for parents who work out, so you might want to check it out if you live in PWC. The cost was $10 for adults and $7 for kids. It's the same for those inside and outside of the county. The pool area features: -a big lap pool -a "beach" going in to the leisure pool -splash buckets that topple over! -a "lazy channel"--a very miniature lazy river. It goes pretty slow. Too lazy for us! -a hot tub -a whirlpool section with jets that push you around in a circle! This was my daughter's favorite part! -a very fun looking slide with twists and turns. And, lets talk about the junkyard heavy equipment, trucks and other junk, you drive by to get to the atv parking lot. Definitely wont be returning cor another ATV trip. She's the sweetest as long as you treat her with respect and be aware of her boundaries.
