Had a fun time playing basketball there on Wednesday nights with a group of adults. Everyone gets along and friendly environment

Do not go to the playground after 5pm. Teenagers who are breaking all rules, lack any parenting, and are overall horrible examples for any child, have taken over, and it appears they've been allowed to do so by management. This place is unmonitored and such a devastating loss of a safe resource for kids who are there for the right reasons. Frederick Douglass would be horribly disappointed in these youth. Arrogant, acting a fool, completely missing the point of the theme, and an awful and embarrassing representation of Loudoun County. They were belligerent, swearing, and acting a fool in front of young children. Way to go "parents." It makes me ill thinking of the lack of civic knowledge amongst these kids. Blatantly stomping on hard earned tax payer dollars with this once fabulous community resource. What an absolute shame. I will never go back and never take a class here either. read more

Leesburg Pickleball is now at Douglass Community Center Saturdays from 1-3 pm for $3 per person. It's also available M-W-F, too. They have paddles and balls. Nice players, casual, and fun to learn location; air-conditioned, too!). Look fwd to meeting others on Saturdays for pickleball. read more

Came here for an international festival they were hosting. It's a really great venue for events as they have a big space outside. The only thing I would say is that they don't have a ton of parking at the actual community center. Other than that I think it's a good center. read more

Love the Park here ... mostly because it's off the bike trail.... they have swings and jungle gyms a baseball field, outdoor hockey rink, picnic area, and many more areas for different activities, fun spot to take my toddler and play read more
