The Jan Care ambulance service is appalling! More often than not they are late on their pickup time…read moreby half and hour if not more and this is after they call tte day before to confirm the pickup time. Trying to call their office /dispatch is frustrating because most of the time no one answers the phone! Doctor's appointments take weeks if not months to schedule and get canceled when you are late so this is extremely inconvenient. All in all just bad service! Get it together people! how difficult is it to be on time!?

My brother, a VA patient in a long term facility in Grafton, West Virginia did not receive 2-3 transports for pre arranged PET scans due to issues with cancellations of transport, missed pick up , and taking a wrong patient in his place. I sent 2 chats to the ambulance company and no answers. I am saddened for all the people especially Veterans who have to depend on others for this help. I reminded the ambulance company in chat re this....my brother never got the chance to get treatments for his cancer as he never got to a facility for the scan to see if he could have them...my brother died on 10/12/24 from cancer, septicemia and several more issues. It won't change his death but am hoping that others including Veterans will be treated with fairness and dignity. I know I would want that...how about you? Reviews from 4-7 years ago are no longer valid. RGH Leadership has done much to bring the ER care up to a level that is much better than years ago.​​ IMO.

Would ghost you if you rang you bell and needed something too often. I was near the nurse station and they kept waking me up by taking too loud, but then coming in my room telling I need to sleep. when i said i could if the nurse station would keep it down, the nurse mockingly said I have no idea what you are talking about. I did not sleep for 3 days They spread lies on me and would with hold pain meds for 2.5 hours. they would yell at me angrily . ..if you report them the head nurse just agrees with them. an aid lied to her nurse about me and the nurse berated me wrongfully. Even on discharge the same nurse started angrily berating me again to the point i asked my husband if we could call the police. I was totally helpless in the situation; she kept accusing me and telling me off about the aid's lies , when i was totally innocent. It was horrible. my bld pressure was already too high. i kept begging her to stop and that seemed to fuel her wicked behavior toward me.

Back to the therapy tho...my son came here after a dirt bike wreck..could barely move..leg was bent and would not straighten out..in a couple of weeks he was good as new..they really worked hard to get him back to 100%! They truly care here and want to help you as much as possible...would not go anywhere else for therapy..they also have a good gym here and a reasonable membership fee.
