Horrible place -people are incompetent and rude. I asked to clean a polyamid windbreaker with a couple of oil spots. It was dry-cleaned before, so I did not anticipate difficulties. Instead of cleaning the spots, they pressed them into the fabric, and then lied that the fabric cannot take dry cleaning so they cannot try harder. This seems to be a rehearsed explanation that they use to avoid recleaning. They charged $27.50 for this "cleaning', refused to take the garment back and reclean, and refused refund. Then when I insisted, Lucy at the counter turned it into a screaming match. My 85 year old husband entered the facility to see what's happening, Lucy yelled at him to leave! No customer ethiquet, and any other dry cleaning place would do a better job. read more

Just got ripped for $96.00 for 2 dresses. TWO !!!! Not 10, not 5 but 2! Was told the "owner" decided one dress was a gown and therefore was charged accordingly, $57.77. It is a freeking DRESS! wow...need money much? I was going to leave them there for them to sell to pay the ridiculous charge but my wife read me the riot act with that idea. Things better be great as cleaning goes or I will for sure go to small claims court. You have been warned. The only bright spot was the staff there. Very friendly. Beware!!! I wish I had found the other reviews before I came! It appears they made a new Google listing with no reviews to hide the many bad reviews on their other listing. They have damaged many peoples's things I see now, and now they've damaged mine. They do not even refund you for the cleaning (or should I say destroying) of your item! The full story is I dropped off a gown with beaded sleeves as well as a blazer. They called me later that day to ask me to release them from liability on the dress. I said, "Why? Is what you're doing that rough on it?" They said no. Okay. I waived liability. It was an inexpensive dress. Never guessing that a dry cleansing company wouldn't at least comp you for the cleaning fee if they damaged it. When my husband goes to pick it up they hand over a $58 dollar bill for it and a completely destroyed dress. "Your wife waived liability" was the only thing they said handing it it to my husband. Disregarding the fact that it totally appears that they called me for a waiver AFTER already damaging it, and showed absolutely no remorse about it, I decided to give them a second chance to make it right. However, after a long discussion with the owner and finding the most they would give me back for the cleaning was 50% for a dress I will have to throw away, I am sharing my review to help others avoid this problem. I did not go back on my waiver and ask for the cost of the dress to be refunded (even though a verbal waiver probably means nothing in a court of law), I only asked that my cleaning be refunded and she would not oblige. The owner seemed very unapologetic, even amused. She even suggested I cut the damaged bead strings off and wear it anyway. My husband went later to talk to her (he gets a long with even the most infuriating customer service people) and she yelled at him and called him a scammer. I feel scammed because if it wasn't for her fake listing to hide bad reviews, I would have never come here. Did I mention the damaged dress didn't even smell clean??? I owned a business for 7 years in NYC and would never have treated a customer this callously. Neither have I ever had an item damaged in 17 years of having things dry cleaned. Do not bring your things here! I am reaching out to BBB on behalf of myself but also to prevent this happening to more people! read more

ZERO STARS!!!! I should have read the reviews before I took my wedding dress here but they were the only ones available at the time... I took my wedding dress in to get pressed and a couple days after I dropped it off they called and said they found grease spots on the front of the dress and they will clean it. First off, THERE WERE NO STAINS ON MY DRESS WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!! Now they are telling me it was there when I dropped it of! And then when they were cleaning it they failed to test the cleaner out on the swatch of fabric I gave them first and made it worse!!!! The fabric reacted on the grease spots so even though the spot is gone the fabric is ruined in those spots and almost completely scrubbed through; I CAN SEE THROUGH THE FABRIC ON THOSE SPOTS!!! And the best part is, these two huge spots are right in the front of my dress where it is super obvious. Never take anything important to this place, they will ruin it!!! read more

First I never got a call about my dry cleaning being ready. Then a dress of mine came back ripped and not wearable. I called to ask for a refund for the service (I didn't even ask for the cost of my dress to be refunded). I was told the owner would call me back about it. I never got a call so I went in a couple of weeks later. The owner took no responsibility and refused to refund me the $30 to make up for their mistake. Poor business practice. It seems like if their machine is damaging garments, they either need to replace it or be much more careful about what the put in it. That is their job. Period. I paid $30 for one garment because it is their profession to make sure it's well taken care of. read more

I was charged $14.50 for a single dress shirt, that took a week to dry clean. You would expect that shirt arrives back looking better than you bought it for that price. It was still wrinkled, and the sleeves were folded over so there are creases as well. Avoid this place take your business somewhere that doesn't rip people off. Will not be back. read more

Have been going here since it was Village Plaza Cleaners. They do a consistently good job but prices are steep and they are not incredibly fast. However, their friendliness and ease of drop off/pick up keep me going back. read more

$65 to clean valances for two windows is a bit excessive. Had I known ahead of time I would not have had them dry cleaned. Had all my windows cleaned recently and these valances said dry clean only. Next time I'll just buy new ones. read more

We went to them for a few months and the dress shirts were always pressed with big wrinkles or not pressed straight and with the lines in incorrect locations. Also shirts had no starch and just looked like crap. After several times of this happening we have decided to try a different cleaners. The prices were expensive too. I wear full suits for work everyday. I have tried most of the dry-cleaners in town and this is by far the best. They are always very helpful and normally have my dry-cleaning done early. Incredibly expensive. $140 for 4 short and 1 long summer dress. I dry cleaned the same items in the last city we lived for $30. When I mentioned this to the assistant behind the desk, her response was "yeah, we hear that all the time." Excessively expensive, mediocre work. Skip this place and try another. read more
