When I went to pay, the cashier informed me the price was $70 + a tip. With my previous male Cavalier, the highest price ever paid in 16 years was $48 + tip. He was twice my female's height/weight with a much heavier coat. I thought $70+ tip was excessive for a 12 lb. Cavalier. I thought the groomer did an okay job but never trimmed any body fur and the butt was a bit scruffy and looked a bit unfinished. Chest feathering was not trimmed at all. Being retired on a fixed income, I think I will look around more before I schedule my two year old Cavalier for her next grooming appointment.

They have great reviews so I thought, why not try them? The place is a small, strip mall venue with foggy windows but welcoming smiles from the staff!! Busy places mean repeat customers! My dog had her leg amputated six months ago so I was worried, but they treated her with the utmost respect and care. Very professional and safe. When I picked her up she was a new dog! Beautiful and shiny, restored to the glamorous Flat Coat she once was prior to her surgery. I was so grateful, and she as well. My only gripe is the chopped cuts to her feathering, it takes so long to grow that back. No matter how much I try to communicate the importance, it never reaches the person actually chopping away (at any groomer, aside from Beverly Hills). If you have a dog that requires trimming, this is your place!! If you're an Irish Setter, Flat Coat or Afghan owner... be firm about the feathering. They're not educated in show dog techniques, but hey, they clean the dog well!! Other than that, we'll be back next month for another Doggie Spa Day!
