Pine Street is the hole in the wall pub that every small town deserves. Walking in you will see a lot of familiar faces, and before you know it you will become one of those familiar faces. The pub offers a wide variety of domestic and craft brews that rotate regularly based on popularity. The food offered is what you would expect from a traditional pub: wings, burgers, flatbreads, and sandwiches. The restaurant offers four main seating areas for customers to choose from. You can sit up out front next to the street and catch a view of the downtown area and listen to live music on select nights. You can sit inside at one of the few tables available or grab a stool at the bar. Then there is my favorite option which is the large covered deck behind the restaurant. This place is really going downhill... used to be one of the best places to go in Inverness for great food and atmosphere. Went last night and sat outside to enjoy the live music. Service SUCKED! Our waitress was a complete bitch and acted like she was so put out to take our orders. Rude attitude and rushed. We felt lucky to get our first drinks and weren't sure if she was coming back to take our food order. When she did finally come back to our table, we ordered and I requested another beer, since the bottle had been sitting empty for a while, and the band played 3 songs before she returned! The food was ok, but very salty. When I finished my next beer we asked for another round that never came... like our table became invisible. We flagged down another server to get our check and left to go to a real bar.. Probably our last visit to this place. Sad too. Such a gem of a place and in a time where they should be doing the extra to keep people coming in, they fall flat on their face... read more

Been coming here for years. While ownership has changed multiple times over the last decade, the atmosphere as well as the food has maintained its consistency. It's a nice place to come after work or after a workout. I really enjoy it. Check out the delectable wings or the shepherd's pie. The bread pudding is to die for. read more

Just love this place! Nice vibe, & the locals are slightly less likely to break into fisticuffs. If you're into that, go to Coach's, that's always a riot. I have two issues with this place, and they're minor and in NO WAY detract from Pine Street. 1. Please, more variety. IPA + IPA + IPA?! IPA's are sooooooo two years ago . Please! I need a Hefeweizen! 2. Ummmmm, as a bartender, I'd kinda recommend NOT saying "hey! I remember y'all from a few nights ago." Pine Street epitomizes the quintessential Dive Bar. Beer and wine only, but killer food - especially the wings. This will remind you of the show Cheers as they know your name. They only have a deep fryer in their kitchen, but that doesn't stop them from making burgers. That's right...deep fried burger. You gotta try it. The beer selection changes often as they try and introduce new craft beers when possible. If you ever want to know what other beers you can get from time to time, look up above the bar and you will see a hundred different taps. Great little spot with outdoor seating in front and back. Great beer selection. The food is amazing. They make their own corned beef and Italian beef in house. Service is incredible; attentive, honest and caring. The loaded taters should be illegal; highly addictive. The Rueben is one of the best you'll ever eat. The Italian Beef Sandwich is one you'll never forget. If you live within an hour and a half or two hours of this place, its well worth the drive. We happened upon it accidentally and will definitely return. read more

If you're thinking about eating here, I would pass. I ordered the BLT but it came either only Teo crumbles of burnt bacon. I sent it back to see of they could make it right but the 2nd one was exactly the same. It was not edible and I will ear anything, I doubt my dog would even attempt to eat what they served me. I pushed the sandwich aside and paid for it anyways. I will not return. I hope this place goes out of business so something else can replace it. read more

My wife and I go to the Pine Street Pub about once a month for dinner. We both like their flatbread dishes. The selection is unusual and all we have had were excellent. There are many patrons who go there almost every week which says a lot for a pub restaurant. The dining area is not large, but they have tables street-side in the front and on a deck in the back. In addition to great food, they have an excellent selection of beers...including Guinness on tap. read more

Wow, it's sure not like it used to be! Used to be such a friendly place to hang out, not so much these days. Mel, she's just a nasty and unfriendly person. She gives dirty looks to the patrons, not refilling customer drinks in a timely manner, making people wait way too long to cash out. Definitely not an asset to the business. A few times I've been there they've actually been out of certain food items. We've witnessed the owners drinking and they've appeared to be intoxicated at times too! Quite a few us won't be coming back. As paying customers we don't need to be treated with disrespect by that woman. read more

Read the reviews and had to check this place out. Very friendly bar, quaint and comfortable. I loved the choice of beers on draft. I am also a wine drinker so I will check them out sometimes on Wine Wednesday. The patrons were extremely friendly to us while sitting at the bar. One gentleman came from across the bar and engaged us in conversation. The bartender was also very friendly. My husband ordered the Muffalatta sandwich. Although not a true muffalatta, my hubby really enjoyed it. I was enjoying my beer too much so went right for the dessert.....Bread Pudding. It was divine. It had whipped Creme but I would've preferred vanilla ice cream but it was amazing nonetheless. We both felt very comfortable and felt that we found our new watering hole. Went here on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend approximately 4/4:30. .. walked inside and asked if we can be seated outside. Their was about 4-5 employees hanging out chit chatting in a group end of the bar and I only saw two customers at the bar and one of the lady's said "no problem I'll be out there in a sec!" And I said great May we get some menus to and she said absolutely I'll be out there". So we see it ourselves outside we set up the umbrella because it was a hot day and we sat and waited and waited and waited we probably sat there like a half hour and I was waving them looking in the door nobody walked in nobody walked out I said "that's it we're going to coaches !!see ya never coming here again" read more

I absolutely love this place. I come in here usually on my lunch break but also come at night after work. The bartenders are very nice and their food especially their beer cheese and pretzels and the Hawaiian flatbread are delicious. The pricing is pretty average and it's never to overly crowded. At night this place sometimes has fun events and bands. It is also in a very convenient location. The atmosphere is a cute Irish bar. And they even have an outdoor area out back and tables on sidewalk in the front. The people are fun to talk with as well. I look forward to many more great meals and memories. read more

My wife and I went in for our second time tonight! Tonight it was wing night and it was exactly what we wanted! Both times we came in Sam the bartender greeted us first and she was great! First of all let me begin by saying I NEVER leave reviews, but our experience here was so good I had to leave one here. My parents and I came in on January 14th 2019. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff and were treated really well. Allie, who waited on us was a real gem. She was super accommodating and made us feel right at home. It seems like the entire place is like one big family. It's one of those places that radiates great energy. We ordered 3 flatbreads, the Mexican, Hawaiian, and the Beef and Cheese. All of them were AMAZING!! At first we thought that we would be taking some home with us because the portions were a good size but we couldn't stop eating. Can only imagine what their other food is like. I will definitely becoming back here on my next visit. It rounded out our day perfectly. A big thank you to everyone there.
