I had their Cuban sandwich and it was very good and they give you mustard on the table if you need more my husband had the avocado blt on sourdough and enjoyed it very much, their French fries are fried in beef tallow which made them very tasty. When we entered, we were greeted by beautiful clothing, jewelry, knickknacks, and very friendly people. The gift shop was to our left, and where we were seated was to the right, they had beautiful China decorations. They had a wide variety of things to select from and daily specials, along with a kids menu. I was very pleased with my meal and the Swiss and potato soup was out of this world. A couple of ladies coming out recommended it they said they had it and it was excellent and we wouldn't be sorry if we ordered it. And we both ordered it and we were definitely extremely happy with it. Everything is homemade, made from scratch. Whoever the cook is crafted beautiful food presentation. The café is spotless even all the China and beautiful glassware didn't have an ounce of dust anywhere so they take very good care of their product and their restaurant. After lunch, we had dessert and then we went into the gift shop area. The gift shop seemed to go on forever! They had children's clothes, children's books, stuffed animals, gorgeous shoes for adults, dresses, shirts, outfits, jewelry, flowers, fresh cut flowers, cakes and so much more! Plenty of free parking for cafe patrons. Handicap parking, easy access and the bathroom was clean. Our lunch was very reasonable. But the gift shop items were very expensive. $31.00 for a coffee mug?! Baby outfits for $40.00? I admit, the clothes were very beautiful, made from better quality materials. Maybe that's why they were expensive. The gorgeous shoes were very reasonable. The cashier suggested we come back around Christmas time because it's always phenomenal. Will we go back? YES! Mallies is definitely a hip place women enjoy going to. If you'd haven't been to Mallies yet, I would definitely put it on your, "must try" list.

This is a place where the folks know you by name and the staff make your experience enjoyable. Walking in there the first time - you can sense they knew we were new to the place and were very nice. Second time there they remembered us - now we walk in the door and they ask us if it's the cinnamon bun or french toast muffin morning :) You cant go wrong with either and their coffee is amazing as well. Get there early if you wan the cinnamon bun or muffins - they don't last long - for a reason! It's that kinda hometown place where you feel like home. We have yet to have something we wouldn't order again. Quality and quantity of food is exceptional and they will customize your food the way you like it. We have had quite a few things on their menu and nothing fell short of amazing. Staff is extremely attentive and super friendly - your mug or drink will not go more than half full before being refilled. Not sure how this place only has a 3.7 rating - I would give this place a 5 every day of the week. We actually deviate from our GPS directions when heading places to stop there to eat on the weekends. Even when there is a crowd waiting to be seated - it goes by quick. Seen a few folks get deterred by a few people waiting - we never waited more than a few minutes. They have daily specials that are posted on the boards that you cant go wrong with ordering and are a great value. The only regret we have is not trying this place sooner when we moved here. This is definitely our favorite breakfast place and ranks in the top 2 of our favorite lunch spots.

From the artwork (old signs and decor made from license plates), to the staff (friendly,friendly,friendly) to the food. I had the brisket sloppy Joe, dirty baked beans and a sweet tea. It also came with a little piece of their spinach corn bread. The star of the show were the beans. They were delicious! Really delicious. My wife had the smoked turkey and she enjoyed hers too. If you are on a road trip, like us, don't be worried about taking an extra 15 minutes off of I75 to hit this place. And don't forget to squeeze the bbq udders for some extra sauce. :-)
