mickey pumpkin soft serve and pineapple swirl!
    Shaianne P.

An amazing bonus when staying at this hotel, having our own dole whip on property! The line can get longer I believe closer to night time but when we got ours, the employee Jacob made my bday memorable with these dole whips! Obviously very delicious and couldn't go wrong with the special dole whip that they had: Mickey Pumpkin Soft serve (pumpkin spice with coconut-haupia with caramel drizzle, graham cracker crumbs and a white chocolate mickey shaped pumpkin on top)! We went when there was no line (around 4:23 pm on 09/02/25) so that was even better!

When you are visiting the Polynesian resort, definitely indulge in a sweet treat here! After having such a big dinner, my mom and I still made room for a pineapple dole whip. This is a walk-up window right outside the back door of the lobby and to the left. Ordering was an easy process. I got the small pineapple dole whip. There were plenty of tables to sit at outside. The sweet treat was delicious. The pineapple flavor has a real pineapple flavor and is not artificial at all. It is mixed with vanilla ice cream that was creamy. Definitely get you one. This is a great location because it is on the way to the pool or back into the hotel. The seating is covered, which is great due to the unpredictability of Florida weather. This spot really makes you feel the Polynesian vibes.

When here, get Dole Whip! There really isn't much else to say about the Pineapple Lanai. Anytime you want a Dole Whip, you can get it here! Swimming in the pool... get a Dole Whip Eating lunch... get a Dole Whip Shopping at the gift shop... get a Dole Whip You get the idea, right?! Service is fast and friendly. Lines and be long but move quickly so be ready to order. It's a walk up window with a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your treat.

During our stay at the Polynesian, we always had to come here at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day, lol. It beats going to the park, and you can just relax while having your dole whip. People who worked there were super nice and even told me about the seasonal offerings they had.

While staying at the Polynesian Resort during our visit at Disney World, my family and I had to stop by the Pineapple Lanai at least one day! This spot offers dole whips at the Polynesian Resort. The line can get lengthy, but it does move pretty quick! At the Pineapple Lanai, you can get traditional soft serve swirls and floats! You can choose a souvenir Tiki Sippers as well! The flavors are pineapple, vanilla or swirl. If you're looking for the Pineapple Lanai, it's outside the great Ceremonial House at the Disney Polynesian Village Resort. Service was quick and the team members were friendly! The prices aren't too bad, between $5-6 depending if you choose a soft serve or a float. The dole whip was delicious! My husband got a pineapple float and he enjoyed it! I'd highly recommend stopping by here if you're visiting the Polynesian or looking to take a quick break from the theme parks!

We came to the Polynesian Resort knowing it was one of the only places that have Dole Whip outside the park (at least off the top of my head). To start, this place is located outside of the resort and there isn't much seating in front of Pineapple Lanai. We got a Pineapple Float to share and the guy at the register offered us the add on of a shot of Rum on the side to which we said, why not. It's about what you expect as far as Dole Whip in pineapple juice but the rum definitely went well with everything. Very big portion so I'd recommend sharing if you just want a pineapple sugar bomb.

Perfect for that Dole Whip craving! There are also special Dole Whip flavors you can't find at the park or other resorts! Super convenient location too! Just go straight into the resort, then go back out the next set of doors and turn left. I was in the mood for some soft serve and ordered a swirl: pineapple and vanilla. From the texture to the refreshing and comforting fruity/cream flavors, I enjoyed every bite! I was also tempted to try the 'Olu Mel float because it's lime flavored, but I couldn't eat that much sugar in one sitting :(. Hope someone enjoys one for me!

While at the Polynesian Resort Hotel at Disney World we stopped at the Pineapple Lanai and had some treats. The service was great the price reasonable and the treats were great. Will return.

I love dole whip and I love the accessibility to it at the Polynesian resort! It's so refreshing and light and just the perfect treat to combat the Florida heat and humidity. Just make sure you eat it quick because it melts so fast and they fill your cup full so it just runs all over your fingers.

Service was quick! It's not the real dole whip like in hawaii but it is what it is. 3 different option to buy, ended up with the dole whip float.

Nice little tucked away kiosk at Disney's Polynesian Resort that serves Dole Whip. It comes in 3 flavours now, not just pineapple: lime, vanilla and pineapple. Rumor is there are also other flavours but that yesterday's offerings. You can also get it with a shot of coconut rum if you're over 21, and make it into a delicious concoction. (I highly recommend this). Stop by, get the kids a pineapple whip and yourselves an adult one to enjoy. You will thank me.

Best Dole Whip ice cream is at Disney! We always grab one from Pineapple Lanai when not at the Thene Parks. It's especially delicious on a hot day!

We forgot to take a pic of the Dole, but eating at the Polynesian made it even more enjoyable!
    Erin L.

I've had the Pineapple Whip at Magic Kingdom and it was decent. I was reluctant to give it a go when visiting the Polynesian, but SO glad I did. The Pineapple Lanai would be easy to pass by. Don't. The staff was super friendly and rolled with my handful of questions with ease. My twist was superb and truly a great value for a Disney treat. Light, tasty and it knocks it out of the park! We ate at the Polynesian Beach watching the boats come in and the sun beginning to set. Truly couldn't ask for a better vibe or dessert. Its worth a hop on -hop off the monorail.

Last time there the parking lot was only for Polynesian guests so just going for a Dole whip was not allowed. Is this still the policy?

I chose the spicy kazan roll for app, pork tenderloin for main, and a creme brulee for dessert. Others at my table got the flatbread with duck, so I was able to try some of that too. Spicy kazan roll can be seen as a bit basic (and it doesn't rival some of the amazing CA sushi), but it's like getting 2 entrees with the sushi and pork tenderloin, so can't complain there. Pork was perfectly cooked and I loved the goat cheese polenta, gave the creamy polenta a complex flavor. Creme brulee was so rich and custardy delicious. I couldn't finish this one, but I'm glad I tried it. Ambiance cannot be beat. The window view is beautiful, and it's delightful to see a castle right outside.

I believe the culinary world could take this advice with plates at the pass. Look at it, take one thing off. This is especially true for the California Grill atop Disney's first WDW hotel, the Contemporary Resort. In a world of micro-greens, pea purée, "summer sauces" and 8-10 other ingredients on a single plate, removing one might make the best difference--and wouldn't be missed! Service 5 stars (thanks, Jim!), plating 4 stars, taste 2 stars (avoid the surf and turf--very "fishy" and had to be replaced with the ravioli), timing and temperature 2 stars (pork was a bit under and the goat cheese polenta was cold). And don't make the mistake I did in getting 2 dishes with goat cheese, "Ugh!" I loved the idea of a fresh, seasonal, fusion menu, but this meal was way oversold. At $99/person (plus enhancements, think $10/scallop), this 3-course meal just seriously missed the mark. If this review required a title, it would be "Over-complicated," all the way down to the unnecessary white chocolate disc under the crème brûlée (for the love of all that is sweet, why??). First and last for me at California Grill.

The service was awesome - from being welcomed, to our lovely server, to the server who delivered our lobster bisque with a fun monologue - definitely a great example of Disney service. I started with a key lime pie martini, and it was very well balanced and not too sweet despite its name! I'd definitely order again. The fresh bread service was a great way to start the meal, and we picked some delicious apps. The calamari was a win for my boyfriend, and the shrimp and grits was really awesome - I'm not a grits gal by nature, but the flavors here were really excellent. We also shared a lobster bisque, and it was the perfect flavor profile. I went with the surf and turf, which was exactly what I wanted it to be (it is a splurge!). The steak was great - I stand by that there are plenty of great steaks that are not at any of the steakhouses on property. The gulf shrimp pasta tasted like true homemade pasta and was also awesome! Our server, Marselle, was excellent. She was so friendly and made our meal even more special. She provided such excellent recommendations, I think we went with them all. I started off with the sangria. It was so refreshing. We ordered the seafood charcuterie which was so unique that I'll claim it as a must do. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread with it. All three items in the charcuterie were delicious! My main course was the Gulf shrimp bucatini. It was a more-than-ample serving of perfectly cooked pasta, a delicious sauce, and fresh large shrimp. I've had this dish at several restaurants, and this dish was a star at Narcoossee's. After watching the Happily Ever After fireworks, we capped our fabulous meal with the must have almond cheesecake. It's SO good. The cake is decadent and surrounded by chocolate coral. Save some room for this dessert! Marselle and other staff made my birthday dinner super special. We had a dinner res/planned visit in November 2022 which was sidelined/greatly postponed due inclement weather produced by Hurricane Nicole. As a precaution, all dinner reservations that night after 6:00pm were cancelled (our was at 6:15pm). Thankfully, during our visit last November 2025, we were able to secure at dinner res for 6:00pm....and we hoped everything would go as planned. And rightly so, as the weather forecast was hot and sunny that day. We checked in for our dinner res about 15 minutes prior, and were able to wait in their lobby/waiting area. NOTES 1. Reservation made via the My Disney Experience App. 2. The food/menu is Thanksgiving all day everyday! It's also AYCE....with dessert included! The AYCE menu includes: 1. Declaration Salad: greens, apples, cranberries, and cheese with House-made dressing 2. Patriot's Platter: roasted turkey, pot roast, pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, herbed stuffing, and mac and cheese. 3. Dessert: Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake ( vanilla toffee cake, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream). 4. House-made gravy and dinner rolls. We also ordered Coke Zero for our drinks. Interestingly enough, we really enjoyed the salad, it was such a great start to the meal. We nearly finished the portion, but we absolutely wanted to save room the main dishes. The Stars (and stripes) of the meal were the turkey, pork loin, and stuffing. Honorable mention goes to the dessert! That Oooey Gooey Toffee was so good, but sadly we were so FULL by the time dessert was served. We did eat a few bites, but perhaps we should have saved more stomach space for this sweet treat. We barely touched the mac and cheese honestly. We did want to try it.....it was just ok. SERVICE Our server was a lovely older female, who was so kind and friendly to us and all the tables she was serving in our area. She had such a kind and grandmotherly attitude and aura about her. However, she sometimes forgot to bring the food and drink "refills" we requested. We probably would have had more time to enjoy our dessert if the primary food refills were given sooner. It also took a while to get the check, and we had to rush out of the restaurant to make our lightning lane reservation for Troy: Light Cycle Run. BOTTOM LINE I'm glad we finally had our long delayed meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Was it worth the wait? I believe so. We really enjoyed the food overall. Also, I'd recommend arriving hungry or partially starving since the food is AYCE. Lastly, save room for dessert! You'll thank me later.

The restaurant is beautifully themed, the lodge setting is warm and inviting, and it's easy to see why so many families love coming here. The playful servers, the ketchup bottle fun, and all the interaction with guests make it a great place for families. It's the kind of restaurant where everyone, from little kids to grandparents, can have a good time. I honestly think our server may have just been having an off day, because our first visit was fantastic. We won't let one experience keep us from coming back, and we're looking forward to giving it another try.

Would you like to enjoy a lovely meal and meet Snow White, the evil queen, and a couple of dwarves?…read moreIf so, this is the restaurant for you! It's located in the beautiful Wilderness Lodge which is one of Disney's deluxe resorts. Reservations are a must, and this will cost you two table service allotments on the dining plan. For a single price there are several shared appetizers and desserts as well as an entree for each guests. An alcoholic beverage is also included on the dining plan. I had the peach cocktail which was plenty strong although light on the peach flavor. The shared appetizers were decent with the mushroom bisque being the best and is served in a cute cauldron. I had the herbed chicken entree which was tasty, flavorful, and juicy. The shared desserts were also good with the warm blueberry tart being the highlight. Service was excellent, and Snow White and the dwarves visited each table. To see the queen you must wait for your "invitation," and she was in character without being too evil. This was a great character dining experience!

The food was very good. They bring out appetizers to share, but once you let them know you don't eat meat, they'll bring you a vegan tasting that was nice. For an entree, I really enjoyed the trickin chicken. The romanesco pairing with the chimichurri sauce was great. The sweet desserts at the end were also nice. Character wise, we met the evil queen, Snow White, grumpy and dopey. They did a couple of songs and came around for nice interactions. They even came back around to say hi again and high five the kids, hug, etc... it was a great experience. Service was great and I'd return.

This has been on my must-try list every time we've visited Disney Springs, but the line is usually…read more30-45 minutes long. I've always wondered if these cookies could really be that good. After finally trying them...I'd say they're absolutely worth the wait. Luckily, we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and only waited about five minutes. It was scorching hot outside, but they have umbrellas every few feet along the line, which definitely helps. I had always imagined walking into a large bakery or café where you could sit down with a cookie and coffee. Instead, it's actually a tiny, dark, whimsical shop with a queue that wraps around to the displays. It almost feels like you're walking through a Harry Potter-inspired attraction with its gothic décor and old-world bakery vibe. Despite the small space, they have three checkout registers, so once you're inside, the line moves surprisingly fast. One tip for first-time visitors: don't rely on the cookie menu on the website. Many of those flavors are seasonal or limited editions. The menu card they hand you while you're waiting in line shows the flavors available that day, so decide what you want before you get to the register because ordering is pretty quick. Now for the cookies... Banana Bread Chocolate Chip - 20/10 Without question, the standout. It tasted like warm, homemade banana bread with added chocolate transformed into a giant cookie. Soft, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I would come back just for this cookie. Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip - 8/10 A delicious combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, and gooey. I can definitely see why it's one of their most popular flavors, but the banana bread still stole the show for me. Cookies & Cream - 5/10 It was just okay. Very rich and sweet, like a giant Oreo cookie but it didn't have the depth of flavor or uniqueness of the other two. I probably wouldn't order it again. The cookies are huge and easily shareable. The funniest part? My son bought an extra cookie to take home for his girlfriend...but after one bite, he decided to keep it for himself! And that's saying something because he's really into health and fitness and rarely eats sweets. If you're wondering whether Gideon's lives up to the hype, I'd say yes. The wait is worth it, and the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip completely stole the show. It's the cookie I'll be thinking about long after this trip.

Everyone wanted the Cookies & Cream cookie, so I ordered three of those, plus a Chocolate Chip and a Coffee Cake cookie. Since we were on a tight schedule, we grabbed our order and hurried to the car. That's when we realized we'd been given three Double Chocolate Chip cookies instead of the three Cookies & Cream cookies we ordered. The register and receipt both showed Cookies & Cream, so I know my order was taken correctly. I do wish I had checked the bag before leaving, but I assumed everything was right. The cookies themselves are good--the chocolate cookies are loaded with chocolate chips, and the Coffee Cake cookie is absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend that one. That said, these cookies aren't inexpensive, so it's really disappointing to pay that much and not receive what you actually ordered. Unfortunately, that experience is why I'm giving only one star.
