We had an incredible dining experience at Narcoossee's during our most recent trip to Orlando. After spending the evening doing the monorail loop, this was our final stop--and it was the perfect way to end the night. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and checked in. Since dinner service had just begun, we waited about 15 minutes before being seated. Once at our table, our Cast Member welcomed us and took our drink orders, followed by the bread service, which was outstanding. The warm, soft-yet-crusty sourdough paired beautifully with the butter topped with toasted Himalayan sea salt. For cocktails, I ordered the espresso martini while my wife enjoyed the Grand Margarita. Both were expertly crafted and delicious. For our entrées, we chose the surf and turf--although I jokingly turned mine into a "surf and surf" because I couldn't resist doubling up on the butter-poached lobster! My wife's filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and the lobster tails were absolutely phenomenal--tender, rich, and practically melted in your mouth. The accompanying sides were equally enjoyable. The aged Gouda scalloped potatoes offered a unique twist on a classic dish, while the smoky cauliflower added great flavor and balance to the meal. To finish, we shared the restaurant's famous almond-crusted cheesecake, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It was the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. From the service to the food and atmosphere, everything was exceptional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!

Narcoossee's was the dinner highlight of our stay at the Grand Floridian. We started with the Buttermilk-fried Calamari -- absolutely delicious. What caught us off guard (in the best way) were the pickled vegetables served alongside it. Not mentioned on the menu, but completely underrated. A thoughtful touch that elevated the whole dish. Next up, the Lobster Bisque. Rich, deeply flavored, and beautifully presented. They drop a roughly 2-inch puck of ground lobster tail right in the center of the bowl that slowly melts into the soup as you eat. Really impressive. The sourdough bread that accompanied our meal was a little thick and overdone on the crust for my taste, but the salted butter was genuinely good and made up for it. For our mains, we both went with the Gulf Shrimp Bucatini and couldn't have been happier. Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce was rich and cohesive, and the shrimp were done just right. My only suggestion to the kitchen would be add a heat option as a a little spice would take this from great to an easy 5/5 on its own. On the cocktail front I would suggest the espresso martini, skip the key lime martini. The latter is overly sweet and has a thick, almost syrupy texture that wasn't for me. The espresso martini was wonderful though. The ambience is hard to beat with waterfront views, warm lighting and of course that classic Grand Floridian elegance!

This was our first time dining here and everything was impeccable. We showed up pretty dang early by accident and they were so accommodating. One of the gentleman at the host stand, Mario, made our experience so special. We were taking some selfies since we were really excited about finally eating here and he took us by the water and took pictures of us and then a picture in front of the sign. It's a beautiful restaurant with a great view of the water and you can see Cinderella's castle in the distance. He also had us seated well before our reservation and checked on us during dinner. I love that the servers aren't overloaded. Each server had maybe 3-4 tables so it was very attentive and you never had to track anyone down for refills. It felt very personalized. Narcoossee's started out high with that fresh sourdough loaf and salted butter and it kept getting better. The lobster bisque is poured table side and she explained all the ingredients. It had a good bit of lobster, but it was also super flavorful in the bites that didn't have any. Creamy and delicious. We both ordered the surf and turf. Our steaks were seared and seasoned and cooked exactly to our preferred temperature. The red onion jam was a nice touch. The mashed chives potatoes buttery and whipped. The butter poached lobster melted in our mouth and the carrots were also fantastic. The key lime pie was good and very tart (which I like), but if you eat with your eyes first, it's not visually stunning like the appetizer and entree. The key lime I've seen in the past was breathtaking and this looked more like lemon meringue pie but replace the lemon with lime. It had a nice graham cracker crust which was nice. Overall this was an exceptional meal. From the service to the food, this meal undoubtedly justifies the price and it will not be our last visit.

Overall, the food is pretty good and well thought out. They did make my brisket and ricotta tortellini undercooked but they rectified that. The food is on the expensive side because of the quality of ingredients and elevated flavor profiles. I definitely say it is your money's worth. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and I liked it. I didn't think it was amazing so I went to look up the price online if I were to buy it. We paid $100 in the restaurant, but I found it for $10 online. That was a little off putting at least give me a $40 bottle of Prosecco for your up charge to $100. Our server was nice but not the high-end server I would've preferred when our bill is like $600. We ordered a lot of food and drinks for our table. She wasn't extremely attendant or quick. When we go to expensive restaurants, the server caliber tends to be overcompensating. Like I said she was nice. The chef did come out to speak with us. Very nice man. Overall, I would return to this restaurant, I just might skip the bottle of Prosecco lol.

This is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney. It has amazing food, service and the best fireworks views around. We always start with cocktails because they are always made with care. We had a dietary restrictions in our group and chef Joe was incredible! He ensured we wouldn't have any issues and visited us multiple times. Maura was a fantastic server and even gave us a special treat since we were celebrating anniversaries. If you've never been you need to put this on your list for the next trip.

    Pork chop

We love Narcoossee's, however, they changed the menu and was disappointed by them removing the new york strip and changing the pork chop dish. Still delicious but preferred the other. Also got the salmon dish which I will get next time. You can still get just the filet from the surf & turf but my husband liked the strip. Staff is always welcoming and polite and the ambiance is always delightful.

Been a long time so I thought I should update my review. Sat at the bar. Kay was awesome! Lots of great suggestions and accommodations for what we wanted. Had the lobster bisque. Really good. Rich and delicious. The mushroom risotto was intense. Great mushroom flavors and cooked perfectly. Finally we wanted some scallops so we were able to get a side of those...really well done. Delicious. A very nice night at the bar. Staff were amazing.

Wow! This might be our new FAVORITE at Disney World. 1. Like everything else at the Grand Floridian, it is beautiful with a lovely view. 2. The service was good. The chef was sweet to come to our table. My husband informed him that he believed his filet mignon was the best he's had on property. 3. The Lobster Bisque was not only presented beautifully, it was delicious. There was plenty of lobster in it. 4. Even the bread was perfectly flaky. 5. I think the calamari is a must appetizer, the pickled vegetables with it off a lot of flavor. 6. Many employees told me that the shrimp bucatini was their favorite. The noodles are made in house and the sauce was fresh. They did not give a bad recommendation at all, I loved it and am still dreaming about it. Con: The server handed my daughter the menu and told her to pick out her birthday dessert. The dessert was added to our tab. (I do not expect a hand out, but this was not something we asked for or were informed of)

After YEARS of wanting to try this spot, we did! And we were not disappointed in the least. This spot was fantastic. The staff was amazing and hardworking! The bread and butter were delicious and our meals were even better. You can't go wrong here with what you order, but the blackened redfish stole the show! Absolutely delicious. I recommend making your reservation an hour-ish before the fireworks. Such beautiful views from this spot. I think it's my new favorite fireworks view on property!

Edwin thank you so much for making my birthday dinner a wonderful experience. The recommendations you gave were spot on. We had the calamari which was the star dish. My daughter who doesn't like eating asked for more. That surprised me. The lobster bisque was also super delicious. Very fragrant. I was not a fan of the romaine salad as it had way too much dressing, but the presentation was still beautiful. He also made sure the kid meals were brought out as soon as possible. Their dishes were very tasty and the fruit bowl had the best fruit we've had on Disney property to date. We had strawberries and grapes. Both fruit were surprisingly missing from all the other Disney restaurants we had eaten at. I was so full I couldn't even finish my shrimp and bucatini. My mom had the scallops and she said it was the best meal she's had on our vacation as well. Last the dessert was over the top gorgeous. The lace design on the key lime pie was remarkable. I couldn't believe how pretty and delicious the raspberry sorbet was. There was jello and whale gummy in that dessert. The Nemo cup was also so cute except the cupcake has vanilla custard in the middle which my kids don't like. But fyi get it if your kids would prefer that over gelato on top of jello. I would definitely come back and even stay on site at the property ! Service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and the outside patio has a nice view of the lagoon. If you go at the right time you can watch the fireworks if you so choose :)

Excellent food and service. We were seating by a window so had a lovely view. Our server brought out chocolates for our anniversary. It was a wonderful anniversary dinner.

More than it's food, Narcoossee's offers a great atmosphere, with a chance to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks (including the show's audio that they pipe in over the speakers) from across the water if you time your reservation right. The food, while good, is nothing spectacular. The scallops with gnocchi were creamy and delicious, but I can't say the same for the lobster bisque which tasted mealy and lacked some flavor. The blackened redfish was tasty, but nothing unique. Bottom line: come for the fireworks, the food is just a side perk of this waterside restaurant.

I chose the spicy kazan roll for app, pork tenderloin for main, and a creme brulee for dessert. Others at my table got the flatbread with duck, so I was able to try some of that too. Spicy kazan roll can be seen as a bit basic (and it doesn't rival some of the amazing CA sushi), but it's like getting 2 entrees with the sushi and pork tenderloin, so can't complain there. Pork was perfectly cooked and I loved the goat cheese polenta, gave the creamy polenta a complex flavor. Creme brulee was so rich and custardy delicious. I couldn't finish this one, but I'm glad I tried it. Ambiance cannot be beat. The window view is beautiful, and it's delightful to see a castle right outside.

I believe the culinary world could take this advice with plates at the pass. Look at it, take one thing off. This is especially true for the California Grill atop Disney's first WDW hotel, the Contemporary Resort. In a world of micro-greens, pea purée, "summer sauces" and 8-10 other ingredients on a single plate, removing one might make the best difference--and wouldn't be missed! Service 5 stars (thanks, Jim!), plating 4 stars, taste 2 stars (avoid the surf and turf--very "fishy" and had to be replaced with the ravioli), timing and temperature 2 stars (pork was a bit under and the goat cheese polenta was cold). And don't make the mistake I did in getting 2 dishes with goat cheese, "Ugh!" I loved the idea of a fresh, seasonal, fusion menu, but this meal was way oversold. At $99/person (plus enhancements, think $10/scallop), this 3-course meal just seriously missed the mark. If this review required a title, it would be "Over-complicated," all the way down to the unnecessary white chocolate disc under the crème brûlée (for the love of all that is sweet, why??). First and last for me at California Grill.

We had a dinner res/planned visit in November 2022 which was sidelined/greatly postponed due inclement weather produced by Hurricane Nicole. As a precaution, all dinner reservations that night after 6:00pm were cancelled (our was at 6:15pm). Thankfully, during our visit last November 2025, we were able to secure at dinner res for 6:00pm....and we hoped everything would go as planned. And rightly so, as the weather forecast was hot and sunny that day. We checked in for our dinner res about 15 minutes prior, and were able to wait in their lobby/waiting area. NOTES 1. Reservation made via the My Disney Experience App. 2. The food/menu is Thanksgiving all day everyday! It's also AYCE....with dessert included! The AYCE menu includes: 1. Declaration Salad: greens, apples, cranberries, and cheese with House-made dressing 2. Patriot's Platter: roasted turkey, pot roast, pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, herbed stuffing, and mac and cheese. 3. Dessert: Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake ( vanilla toffee cake, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream). 4. House-made gravy and dinner rolls. We also ordered Coke Zero for our drinks. Interestingly enough, we really enjoyed the salad, it was such a great start to the meal. We nearly finished the portion, but we absolutely wanted to save room the main dishes. The Stars (and stripes) of the meal were the turkey, pork loin, and stuffing. Honorable mention goes to the dessert! That Oooey Gooey Toffee was so good, but sadly we were so FULL by the time dessert was served. We did eat a few bites, but perhaps we should have saved more stomach space for this sweet treat. We barely touched the mac and cheese honestly. We did want to try it.....it was just ok. SERVICE Our server was a lovely older female, who was so kind and friendly to us and all the tables she was serving in our area. She had such a kind and grandmotherly attitude and aura about her. However, she sometimes forgot to bring the food and drink "refills" we requested. We probably would have had more time to enjoy our dessert if the primary food refills were given sooner. It also took a while to get the check, and we had to rush out of the restaurant to make our lightning lane reservation for Troy: Light Cycle Run. BOTTOM LINE I'm glad we finally had our long delayed meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Was it worth the wait? I believe so. We really enjoyed the food overall. Also, I'd recommend arriving hungry or partially starving since the food is AYCE. Lastly, save room for dessert! You'll thank me later.

I had never been to this restaurant, but had heard good and funny things about it so I was excited to try it out. We did the all you can eat breakfast buffet and the food was delicious. Server was hysterical, making jokes the entire time! Do not answer your phone or sit at the table to make a call or ask for extra ketchup (or anything extra!!) and you will be in for a funny surprise. Great for kids and adults! Located inside the wilderness lodge at Disney. Ambiance was great and very themed. Definitely will come back here in the future!

After we ordered, it took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. Once we got it, our server rarely came back to check on us. My wife didn't get a single drink refill the entire meal, and it was hard to get anyone's attention when we needed something. What should have been about an hour turned into a two-and-a-half-hour meal. That being said, the atmosphere here is still one of the best at Disney. The restaurant is beautifully themed, the lodge setting is warm and inviting, and it's easy to see why so many families love coming here. The playful servers, the ketchup bottle fun, and all the interaction with guests make it a great place for families. It's the kind of restaurant where everyone, from little kids to grandparents, can have a good time. I honestly think our server may have just been having an off day, because our first visit was fantastic. We won't let one experience keep us from coming back, and we're looking forward to giving it another try.

Would you like to enjoy a lovely meal and meet Snow White, the evil queen, and a couple of dwarves?…read moreIf so, this is the restaurant for you! It's located in the beautiful Wilderness Lodge which is one of Disney's deluxe resorts. Reservations are a must, and this will cost you two table service allotments on the dining plan. For a single price there are several shared appetizers and desserts as well as an entree for each guests. An alcoholic beverage is also included on the dining plan. I had the peach cocktail which was plenty strong although light on the peach flavor. The shared appetizers were decent with the mushroom bisque being the best and is served in a cute cauldron. I had the herbed chicken entree which was tasty, flavorful, and juicy. The shared desserts were also good with the warm blueberry tart being the highlight. Service was excellent, and Snow White and the dwarves visited each table. To see the queen you must wait for your "invitation," and she was in character without being too evil. This was a great character dining experience!

The food was very good. They bring out appetizers to share, but once you let them know you don't eat meat, they'll bring you a vegan tasting that was nice. For an entree, I really enjoyed the trickin chicken. The romanesco pairing with the chimichurri sauce was great. The sweet desserts at the end were also nice. Character wise, we met the evil queen, Snow White, grumpy and dopey. They did a couple of songs and came around for nice interactions. They even came back around to say hi again and high five the kids, hug, etc... it was a great experience. Service was great and I'd return.
