There are so many choices - I wanted a tankini and ended up picking two. You purchase the tops and bottoms separately so you can get exactly what you want. It is such a positive experience- they even have robes you can put on if you want to come out of the fitting room to get other things to try on. I have lived on Cape Cod, Hawaii, in Florida and Virginia Beach. Never have I experienced a shop like the Pineapple Princess. I am a lifelong customer. This was my second time shopping there in 6 years. They have hundreds, possibly thousands of swimsuits. Don't be worried about your size, they sell separates, will alter and go up to size 4x. If you are worried about cost, I will say two things: you get what you pay for and they have a sale rack. Also, the shop offers a military discount. When you walk in, it can be overwhelming (I heard heavenly music in head). My advice, find the owner, Donna and tell her what you're looking for (colors, style, approx size). She will start to fill your dressing room while you look around and pull suits as well. The entire experience (and customer service) was very much like being a bride again. I bought 1 pair of bikini bottoms, a one piece (with a long torso), 3 tankini tops (2 off the sale rack), a long sleeve coverup and the cutest hat ever. That may seem like a haul. My husband (a keeper) took me for my birthday. I estimated 3 hours on the parking meter. We were out in 2 hours and 8 minutes. This shop is delightful! I usually dislike shopping for bathing suits but the staff at Pineapple Princess made it a wonderful experience. I recently visited with my mother-in-law who needed a specialty fit due to surgery. One of the owners quickly picked out many suits to meet her needs and provided honest feedback about what looked best. I was totally not in the market for a new suit but wound up buying two bottoms and another suit. The staff are so incredibly warm and helpful. The shop provides free alterations for the perfect fit and these were ready in just two days. Highly recommend and looking forward to my annual return to this great store. read more

OMG! Love the items here. Tommy Bahama flip flops, clothing, great hats and bathing suits. Donna the owner will alter any suit you buy there for a perfect fit. I bought a two piece suit and she lifted the straps. It made the suit go from a 7 to 9.5. They have fabulous hats and purses and I admit I need a sale to afford them but when they do, I buy there and love it all. Great beach dresses too. Never have I been to a bathing suit shop that has the selection and service that this shop offers. On top of that, the service was not only helpful, but just as important, honest. It is now my 'go to' place for all bathing suit shopping. The night I was there, it was slow and the own even shortened the straps of one of the suits gratis with her sewing machine she keeps right behind the counter! read more

Donna is incredibly sweet and helpful. She assisted me in finding my size swimsuit. Then, when it didn't fit quite right, she offered to cut the straps and re-sew them (right then) to make the suit fit perfectly! I will return here for future swimwear needs and highly recommend it! read more

The ladies who were working last night were extremely kind and helpful. The store has a wide variety of options which is perfect if you're trying to be dressed in color to stand out or just comfy and ready to ready to relax in the sand. The hats are great and perfect for the sun. Their jewelry section is a delight for their bohemian style and some chunky pieces which I just adore, a perfect accessory for any beach goer. What else is great is their oversized beach bags they have for sale which is amazing because you can fit everything you need in them. They even have baby shades! Over all helpful and great customer service. 5/5 would come back. read more
