We come here for Frankie's Seafood and Francisco's Soups. Frankie's Seafood is a table at this market and he sells some of the most fresh fish you can find. The stone crab is sooooo delicious and freshly caught (never frozen), their ahi is to die for. I could go on and on about this spot. Frank and Grace are delightful. Francisco makes these soups in these huge cauldrons and my goodness are they to die for. The cilantro soup, the tomato, there's so many to choose from. Go visit both! Their service is really phenomenal. The location is quite quant and there isn't a lot a lot to it but it's one of the nicer locations I'd say. Go and check em out! A lovely way to spend a weekend morning. Parking does get a little tricky so try to go early. The market has shade from the trees that add to the vibe, just wished there were places to sit. There's a wide selection of vendors for whatever you're looking for. I picked up some delicious rosemary sourdough and beet garlic spread for some sandwiches. Baptist Health sponsons a large farmers market every Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM in front of Pinecrest Gardens. Overflow parking is in a field behind the Pinecrest Community Center. The Pinecrest Farmers Market was voted Best Farmers Market by the Miami New Times and it is easy to see why because there is such a variety to choose from. On the day I visited there were two rows of stalls selling açaí bowls, smoothies, and other health food. Seafood lovers flocked to the lobster rolls and stone crabs while others enjoyed ethnic dishes like Japanese Yakisoba bowls and Argentinian steak. Other food items for sale included salsa and guacamole, fresh mozzarella, popcorn, roasted coffee, micro greens, pizza, honey, and fresh fruit and vegetables. For dessert there were Italian ices and cheesecake. They also sell live plants, supplements, dog food, gemstones, jewelry, and metal work. Baptist Health was on hand giving out complimentary reusable tote bags with sun hats, measuring spoons, and other goodies inside. Once you finishing shopping you can visit beautiful Pine Crest Garden for only $5. I recently went back after not going in a while and it's now just a glorified food truck spot. This long time running farmers market is just perfect venue for the preamble to the gardens on the other side of the admissions booth. Go hungry because you'll find all kinds of food from vegan to Paleo to gluten-free to glutenous and all there is in between. Be prepared to stand in line if you're there for coffee break for lunch time for breakfast time because that's when the lines form but they go quickly. Loved it the only thing I would add is picnic tables...about 10 of them and they have the space for it. Yes we can go inside Pinecrest garden to sit down but someone is just go to the market place not the garden...also other like me once I leave the garden with my twins I'm not trying to go back inside. The lemonade and frozen drinks stand was awesome! I had the Chico bowl with barbacao rice and beans along with guacamole and chips. The guacamole didn't have much flavor. Next time I want to try the poke bowl as well as the açaí bowl. Everyone was friendly and nice. Lots of parking but it still can be challenging. read more

Heard about this little gem from some friends in Pinecrest that we met up with on Sunday! This might be my favorite farmer's market in Miami so far. They are only open from 9-2PM on Sundays. The park is beautiful and I like the variety of foods here: Acai Bowls Poke Bowls Ceviche Fresh Guacamole (in action) Breakfast Foods Gyros Meats Hand-tossed Pizza (in action) Fresh Popcorn Dark Chocolate Organic Fresh Juices Drink from a coconut (only $3) Fresh Produce Zak the Baker Specialty Coffee Specialty Sauces Specialty Dog Foods and a few other things.. Most of the foods are healthy and organic. Be aware that some of them might be a bit pricey so don't get carried away and definitely don't break the bank! I have been coming to this place for many years, sometimes months apart between visits but still continue to come back to bring friends and family. Had not realized I had not yet reviewed here on Yelp, so here it goes. It has amazing trees and vegetation, splash pad area, petting zoo (only open at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00), picnic tables, playground, beautiful water lilies pond, breathtaking views of lake with swans and just overall eye pleasing structures. Today's visit was my first on a Sunday. It was quite busy with the Farmer's Market but It was enjoyable. Lots of diverse foods, desserts, fruits and vegetables, among many other miscellaneous items like honey, cookies, salsas, plants and even soaps! They have areas available to host parties. You are able to bring your own food and drinks and decorate as you please. Nice for baby showers but also convenient for birthday parties since there's a playground nearby. Admission is free for military people and those accompanying them. Children 2 and under free. I highly recommend Pinecrest Gardens! read more

This is a very fresh, interesting busy market in pretty surrounding located in the car park next to Pinecrest gardens. In my opinion though it is very expensive for what it is..obviously priced for the rich people living in or around the expensive Pinecrest! I wouldn't go expecting authentic Mexican tacos, And ceviche at the guacamole and ceviche stand which were overwhelmed with lime juice and I could barely enjoy. I'm obsessed with this market! It does really have something for everyone. From tea to bbq to Italian ice to raw foods. It's such a delight. Due to covid something's have changed but I really like the convenience of the changes. Basically it's a drive through. Do make sure to wear your masks even though you will not get out of your car. The tents are spaced out enough so that you can pull in and park near the tent of your choice, look at the menu and choose and pay. The vendors use long selfie sticks with the square attached for safe cc payment; no cash allowed. My faves include the omusubee.... Japanese nigiri, great variety to choose from. The French bakery, La Vinois... best raisin rolls! Angry booch kombucha and Italian I've from kool treats. Must get imperial roast seasonal flavor cold brew! Everything is great and there is enough to be able to try something new each time you visit. Everything is pretty much contact less. They will put your bagged purchase in your trunk! Every weekend is better when a trip to the Farmers market is a part of it! Located in the old school parrot jungle location on old culter, this market is a real treat. They've got it all! Fresh produce, plants, gifts, and of course ready-to-eat food options. I visited with my mom and we had the best time walking up and down the array of vendors the market had to offer. It gets extremely packed - so just know if it's hot out, you'll be walking with tons of folks and sweating but for that BBQ it is worth every minute! I picked up fresh ceviche, mango with tajiin, bbq ribs and chicken, some succulents, and pickled veggies and fresh burrata. Eclectic haul, but that just goes to show there is something for everyone at this market. What I loved most is that the vendors take card - so makes it super easy to shop around. There are tables available for you to enjoy your food on the spot - which in cooler weather seems like a delightful idea. *Pro Tip* take a reusable bag to load up on goodies and carpool. This lovely little botanical garden with a splash pad for kids is a nice patch of nature among really fancy homes. There is a lot of shade. A leisurely stroll along the winding walkways is calming. I only go here on Sundays because they also have the farmer's market in the parking lot area. We eat at the market, stroll in the gardens, and then go back to the market for fruits and veggies to take home. The fish and turtles are fun to watch. You can buy feed for the fish near the entrance. They are always hungry. They need to improve the website for this place. The hours and entrance fees on pinecrest.gov were unclear. read more

Parking can be a real hassle if you don't get there early... and when it's crowded the stalls are so tightly packed together that getting through the market can be difficult. Very crowded. It would be nice if there were some tables somewhere to enjoy some of the lunch offerings, but no such facilities exist. My visit to Pinecrest Gardens was my first since it was the Parrot Jungle. The layout has been kept very similar since then. I visited during an art fair, so admission was free. There are other similar events, such as farmer's markets, when there is also free admission. The art fair was nice: a variety of artists working with many media, food vendors, and some sponsor booths. The Gardens are mostly shaded, so the walk is enjoyable even when it's hot and sunny. It's more of a meandering path than a specific destination, so stroll slowly and enjoy the variety of flora. There are also native birds that can be seen around the lake, and a koi pond. I probably enjoyed the petting zoo more than the kids, and spent a while petting the pigs. There were pigs, sheep, and goats. The petting zoo is only open for 30 minutes at a time every 2 hours, starting at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. For kids there's also a playground and a splash pad. There are also tons of tables to bring your own lunch. When we went in January, the banyans were decorated with twinkly lights. I'm not sure if this was left over from the holiday season or always there, but it made me think the holiday lights are probably beautiful. read more

I'd been wanting to come visit Pinecrest Gardens for wedding ceremony ideas, and I am so glad I did! My fiance and I strolled in yesterday and fell in love. What a beautiful spot! It completely takes you away from feeling like you're in Miami. The tall trees provide plenty of shade to keep you covered on a hot summer day. This is the perfect place for picnics, and to simply enjoy an afternoon stroll. You'll see flowers, moss, baby waterfalls, peacocks, turtles, and koi fish. There's also a Splash Zone for children to play at. For a $5 admission fee, you'll get a bang for your buck! Highly recommended for all ages! read more

It is free!, Lots of beautiful tropical trees and exotic plants, an oasis in the middle of Miami. Great place for photography. I LOVE the drive-thru version of the farmer's market. They have done a great job of pivoting to make sure that everyone is safe but still able to support the local businesses. I love the Mediterranean business with delicious hummus and falafel. My other favorites are the fish dip (a must!), teas, kombucha, and french bakery. I went the week before the official lockdown due to the CoronaVirus. It was really good. I wished I had been going there sooner. The weather was great which really helped. There was so much variety. There was an empanada vendor who named each empanada after a famous female for International Women's Day. So creative! There was also a vendor selling fresh made salsa and guacamole. Customers and vendors were extremely friendly. The location is excellent. Pinecrest Gardens is the perfect location. I love that it is on cement because I use a wheelchair and many farmer's markets are not wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking! Dog friendly! Loved that too. And I like the idea that we could also go to the Pinecrest gardens afterwards. If there is anything that I could add to make it better, it would be to have more vendors. read more

FIVE stars for the selection of vendors' booths with tantalizing foods (poké, BBQ, arepas - LOTS to choose from!) and other fun things. Truly wonderful. We have always loved coming out here whenever we are visiting the Gables. ZERO stars for the constant parade of dogs whose owners just let them growl at each other and have the occasional lunge attack. One of our kids was almost mauled when a dog fight erupted over some spilled food between two kiosks. Yes, we were holding our child's hand and just walking through the crowded aisles, so don't even start with the "you should have been watching your kid better" BS - we were right there, and that was what avoided a mauling... We also have a Doberman pinscher, so we are well-versed in how to be responsible dog owners. We would never bring our dog to a crowded farmer's market with so much food and unknown people; it's asking for a problem. Having so many dogs around also makes it unsanitary - they are peeing and defecating right next to where people are eating. Honestly, the organizers of this wonderful idea need to think about the safety of their customers here. Is it really going to take a major dog attack to make a change? Totally and utterly irresponsible, and we will not be back until this changes. Hopefully no kids will have to suffer in order to make this a kid-friendly and safe experience. read more

Pinecrest Farmer's Market is the largest I have been to yet, and the variety of vendors they have is incomparable to any other. From vendors like Zack the Baker to Sweet Blendz, this place is heaven. We popped in today to have some delicious treats and our first stop was Zack the Baker. We shared a Nutella filled croissant, which was absolutely divine. The croissant was perfectly made and had just the right amount of Nutella. Its soft texture and sweet/nutty taste, made my taste buds go insane. This little bad boy was $4 and worth every penny. We then made our way over to the fresh squeeze stand, and decided on the "Natalie Slushie". It was made of freshly squeezed orange juice, pineapples, and tangerines. That cost $5 and it was so refreshing. We had some samples at Doctor Pickle. The Sriracha pickles are so good! And then I stopped by Reeny's Butterflies, Blooms, & Bees. She's a beekeeper who makes all types of natural, homemade soaps, lotions, and more. I purchased an $8 oatmeal/charcoal soap from her that is also made with honey and goats milk. It smells so delicious and I cannot wait to use it. Our last stop was Babe Froman Fine Sausages, where we shared an $8 bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a baguette. unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of it because I was too consumed with devouring it. It was by far the best breakfast sandwich I have had yet in Miami! The location here is absolutely gorgeous and huge. They offer an inner private lot, as well as street parking. read more

I have to say that I always love coming here on a Sunday morning. It's pretty much all in the shade so coming here on a sunny day isn't much of a worry. They also have a great option of different types of vendors, which is always nice. I just wish it was a little bit bigger and that they had more seating, even if it was dispersed around the different vendors. All-in-all, it's a great farmers market in this area.
