He didn't get our tax return done when he said he would. Said he had a death in the family. Ok, I'm sympathetic to that. But when he finally got our return done weeks later, he made a big mistake that could've easily been avoided, which resulted in us owing $4k more in taxes, and then he had the gall to blame it on me. Considering the amount of time I spent making sure that he was working on our return and having to review it, I might as well have done it myself. The only silver lining was that his rate was low, but I also got what I paid for. (I did not provide you with two documents with conflicting info. One was a spreadsheet that I prepared that had my mortgage payments as part of my expenses. The other was the actual tax form from my lender with the mortgage interest amount which was the number that was supposed to be inputted. It was an oversight on your part. I don't take issue with how much we ended up owing in taxes. But if I hadn't caught the mistake, we would've underpaid.)

Her and Jessica did my taxes and bookkeeping for that year until 2022 and a few months of 2023 until I stopped my bookkeeping bc they were charging me $575/mo when in reality, Jessica would collect all my statements at the end of the year. She did this both in 2021 and 2022... realizing I was basically paying over 6k in "services" that were mainly handled at the end of the year. I didn't question it at first bc I was grateful they helped me set up my LLC and helped with getting a PPP loan. However the funds were already ran out by 2022 which is the year that I was continuing to be charged for not even having a payroll. So I canceled that service in March 2023. At the same time made a connection with a client who not only does tax preparation but has experience in business valuation for startups. Which he also was shocked at what I was paying and said I was being screwed by these two women. The worse thing is last year when I was doing my LLC paperwork, I found out my address was never changed. I had moved a SECOND time and asked Fannie to please update my address which she even had the nerve to charge $20 for. I sent her the payment thinking it would be handled and now my LLC is suspended bc I had to go to the FTB in person to find out what happened. FTB informed me that they had been mailing me letters (to the original address) that I haven't lived in for now over 4 years! And Fannie NEVER UPDATED MY ADDRESS EVEN AFTER I ASKED HER AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME AND PAID HER TO DO SO. Now I'm stuck with penalties from HER MISTAKE. To make matters WORSE, she's instructed her staff to "not service me bc I'm not a paying client" and I have screenshots of all this. Her Yelp reviews also show her lack of integrity and questionable behavior and services. Including her B- rating on BBB. She should be accountable for her actions. To top this off, she is part of a "leadership community" built off integrity and responsibility and you can see this clearly lacks here.
