He especially enjoys working with his therapist, Noe (I hope I spelled that correctly). The facility is also consistently clean and well maintained, which gives us peace of mind. The care was poor, the rooms were tight and the staff was not accommodating. My husband was basically bedridden and his TV was old and had a terrible picture. I asked for a better TV. They promised to get him a better one but didn't. Also, since he was bedridden, he hadn't had his teeth brushed for over a month. I do not recommend this place at all.

Yes it is a bit older of a place but SO CLEAN and the decor throughout is just wonderful and fun. Lots of areas (also kept very well) to walk around and even a glider-swing on one of the patios that accomodates wheelchairs! So fun! Every person I encountered was patient and very nice. My mom's care team was very responsive to her needs. My mom will be there for a bit longer to recover so I'll have to update but from what I saw just over 2 days I am so thankful she is there and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I will note that the rooms are a bit small for 2 beds but the staff does everything they can to accommodate for visitors if there is more than 1 .... repeating that the rooms are clean! I even looked in corners.

A friend of mine suffering from Alzheimer's resided here. They tended to his particular needs, and…read moremade sure he was safe. They tried to make his life as neighborly as possible. The manager at the time was a very friendly, helpful man whom I don't think is there anymore. The initial review does bring up legitimate concerns about housekeepers&dietary aides doing work outside their sphere of training. While I did witness that a few times, most of the time, they simply made sure my friend was clothed, fed, and had a clean environment. He was able to live as independently as he could, until his Alzheimer's was so debilitating he was moved to another facility in Arizona. Aegis is clean&appealing. They have a friendly, personable, attentive staff. While it has its shortcomings (all facilities do), the positives outweigh the negatives. The parking lot is kind of small, but one can park on side streets. Very pleasant.
