I have been trying to work out consistently everyday for the past month or so and wanted to try something different. I called Club Pilates a few days ago to inquire, and the receptionist was super sweet and was able to answer all my questions. I found out the first intro class was free so I thought, why not! I'll give it a go. My schedule is limited but the owner, Autumn, booked me for a 30 minute intro session on the day I had originally requested which was super convenient. When I arrived to Club Pilates, it was nice, clean, and quiet. No one was in the studio so the private session made the experience all the better. Autumn made me feel super comfortable and was so knowledgeable about everything! I ended up booking 4 more sessions after my first free one, and I am very excited. Autumn even texted me the next day to see how I was feeling. She is amazing. I love when clients are treated with genuine care and respect. It makes a client for life!

I will admit that this place is tricky to find the first time around. It's in the same shopping plaza as Whole Foods but it's in an adjacent building and the entrance is in the back. The class itself is slow yet fast-paced, which I guess is hard to describe. The instructor talks you through each movement and previews the next one while you're still finishing up the previous movement. There's a series of countdowns and movements, and while you can take a breather, the point is to work constantly through the 50-minute class. The machine that's used is like a gym Swiss Army knife. Just when I think I've done every possible thing on it, there's another new movement. There's probably 200 things you could do on there, maybe more. The ambiance is darker and kinda warm. But I'm definitely dripping sweat by the end every time and I'm always sore the next day, especially muscles that get little attention otherwise, like obliques and inner thigh muscles. Maddie, the studio manager, is very welcoming and accommodating and has been my favorite instructor so far. But all of the instructors have been good!

The only doc I have for [solidcore] is more for the ClassPass side of things. The classes are an insane amount of credits per class (most classes on CP are 2-5 and [solidcore] classes are 7-10 each). If the credit amount was lowered to be comparable to other pilates studios in the area and on the app, I think more people would come more often (and I would be able to come more frequently too)!

This is a great total body workout that leaves you feeling invigorated. It's challenging without making you sweat from head to toe. Don't be fooled - this is hard! I have been biking most of the summer and had previously practiced yoga and neither could prepare me for the workout my muscles were going to get at PB! The Wexford studio is spacious and very chic. The lobby area has an open floor plan and allows for free movement of students coming in and out of class. There is a variety of workout clothing and PB apparel and bottled water for purchase. The instructors give new students a quick tour of the facilities and PB provides all of the equipment you'll need for class (ball, mat, weights, and tension tubes). The class is 60 minutes of focused muscle sculpting that will get you toned and strong in no time! Motivational music (read: pop/dance) is pumped into the room as the instructor takes you through the movements. I found myself having to take a few breaks...which never happened in yoga! I seriously had a hard time walking out of there tonight but feel great! I know I'll be sore tomorrow but will be returning to PB as soon as I can!
