When life gives you a boba spot right next to your lunch spot, you might as well try it. Pink Cactus Tea is a pink, kitschy boba tea shop on the northeast corner of Flamingo and Decatur just off Flamingo. I hadn't given them a try before and was too close to avoid just walking by, so I went inside, looked at the menu, and eventually settled on something that sounded good. The F3. Peach & Lemon Green Tea ($5.55) was indeed as refreshing as I'd hoped it would be. It was peach forward but had notable lemon notes that differentiated it from similar monofruit teas I've had. The 50% sweetness level was perfect and the less ice request did not result in underfill. I also started to get the little individual citrus kernels on some sips, which were great since they're a natural pop of flavor and of course easily fit through a normal straw (note: I had to request this after the employee handed me the wide boba straw). I did feel that the A/C was struggling on a really hot summer day. I was surprised that several people chose to sit down long-term as I was feeling less than fully comfortable. I'll strongly consider returning to Pink Cactus Tea when I'm in the Flamingo area rather than Spring Mountain. Gimmicky theme aside, I had a great fruit tea and hope to try more of that menu section in particular. read more

There is ample cute little spaces to sit around and hang out. The menu is quite eclectic with their drinks and snack items. Be sure to catch some of their specials that include drink and food combos. I paid for a drink and got fish balls for 99 cents after $3 discount. Not bad if you're not coming in ravaging. Taste is okay and not necessarily the best. Service was non-existent. It is almost as if they do not want to interact with their customers. Ordering is pretty much done solely on a kiosk as their staff stay behind their counter preparing drinks and food. Then when your order is ready, your order number is blasted on a loudspeaker beckoning you to come up to the front counter to pick up your order waiting for you on the counter. So if you don't care about the lack of service, and you just want to quick in and out pick up bite or drink to go, and this is a consideration. read more

Pink Cactus Tea was a good place for teas. We arrived on weekday afternoon where lots of students were there studying. They "boss lady" looking woman took my order. A few minutes later, we were on our way. While waiting, I was able to peruse the glass case where they had things like a "mango bear" and chocolate dog for sale. I didn't ask what they were, or if they were edible. But, they were works of art. I ordered a mango pomelo crystal boba for myself, while my wife ordered their milk tea. Both drinks were good. I love Pink Cactus! It's such a cute cafe with a massive selection of drinks, savory snacks, and delicious desserts. Service is always friendly and there is ample seating to enjoy your goodies there. I've been here many times and have enjoyed a variety of drinks, but yesterday I opted for the blended matcha swirl with boba added. I love the blend of Oreo and matcha; not too sweet, just right. Pink Cactus Tea has been a regular fixture for us and our friends. Not only do they have drinks, sweet treats, and savory bites, but they also have plenty of seating! And parking hasn't ever been a challenge either. We've tried a variety of their drinks and they often have seasonal ones too that have been enjoyable. We do tend to lean toward their Fruit Teas, but they also have plenty of Milk Teas, Blended Drinks, and Pure Teas. Sometimes we request "light ice" but don't always get that. On our most recent visit, the Rainbow Lychee $5.75 was such a pretty drink to get. The Mango & Passion Fruit Tea $5.55 was part of their newest drinks. They have cute sweet treats like cakes, mousses, etc. We particularly gravitate towards their savory options. Our favorites have been the Popcorn Chicken $8.95 with a spicy dipping powder, Special Popcorn Pork Belly $9.95 with a wasabi mayo dip, and Fried Tofu with a sweet chili sauce. You can order at the counter or at the kiosk. Listen or watch out for your number because that's how you'll know your order is ready. They do offer a loyalty program for drinks, unfortunately you don't earn any points on your food purchases though. The only thing is they rarely clean the tables. We've been there for hours and rarely see anyone wipe down the tables. That would probably be my only real gripe about the place. Even when we arrive shortly after it opens, the tables are a bit sticky. They do have some board games available, so they don't mind that you stick around and hang out. We often do and will continuously buy food as well as drinks. Sometimes they have pop up events on the weekends so check their IG for the latest. I'm so glad that they finally cleaned that gold fish tank at the front. It desperately needed a deep cleaning and it's been crystal clear for a good while now. read more

I came here to study for my MCAT one day. It's definitely a huge and spacious place! The bright neon colors add a lot of color and pop. The plastic seating is not the most comfortable, but not the worst. I was still able to sit for over 5 hours, but it could be better with some cushioning. I'm small enough that I don't have too much of a complaint, but I imagine that a bigger person would get uncomfortable with the shape of the seats. But then again, that's only if you're sitting for a long period of time. It also got pretty loud at times, especially when the automated voice announced when a drink was ready through the speaker. It definitely catches your attention. The bathroom could also be organized a little better. I would not particularly study here again, because it's just not the best place to study. However, my drink was great! Very sweet and light. I don't mind coming back here to try their other stuff. I also like that this place closes late. Dirty Taro Milk with Crystal Boba: I really liked this one. It tasted like real taro and not the powder kind, which I appreciated. This is a pretty cool boba place to check out. The interior is decorated with pretty lights and there's even a fish tank sitting area. The drinks were decently priced and there is a variety of drinks from milk teas to blended drinks. I absolutely adore cheese foam so I'm glad they offer it as I usually order it with my boba drinks. The food isn't too bad either. This is my friend's favorite spot when she is in Vegas and she wanted to introduce me to it and I'm so happy she did. She told me to get the cactus sunrise. This wouldn't be a drink I normally gravity to but I'm glad I did because it was very good. First off, let me tell you about this drink. This drink is not only pretty but it's filled with mangoes and pink dragonfruit. The mixture of the drink is very refreshing and delicious. They even use a lot of real fruits. I was a little confused upon entering because they had signs saying to order on the kiosk but the kiosk was out of order and it didn't seem like the girls working knew it was out of order so they did not acknowledge me even as I stood by the counter. I was craving for something fruity so I ended up ordering the passion fruit & kumquat green tea. I thought my drink was a little watered down though. It was refreshing but did not really have much kumquat or passion fruit flavor. Overall a pretty clean and spacious boba shop that would be perfect for hanging out. Extremely adorable cafe. It's really cute. Pink is my favorite color. I really wanted to love this place and make it my regular shop. I was honestly blown away by how incredible the drinks tasted. I really wish I could come back, but I can't because I value my time. I don't care if the employees aren't friendly (because they aren't). I care about efficiency. They have only ONE Kiosk to order from. The employees either will not or simply cannot take your order even though they're just standing there staring at you. There was a group that took 15-20minutes on the only kiosk in the store trying to figure out what to get, chatting, laughing, and taking their sweet time not caring that there's a line. It was also really hot and stuffy. This place does not have great AC. We were only getting 2 drinks and we already knew exactly what we wanted. It was going to be a simple order. I went up to see if maybe the girl at the counter who was just chilling and not doing anything could take our order instead because she could clearly see that the group using the kiosk has been there dilly dallying for a LONG TIME. Nope. Told me I had to order through the kiosk and to wait. That's a failure with the store itself. If you only have ONE kiosk you should be set up to take orders from the counter for overflow situations like what we faced. If you don't want to do that you need to set up multiple kiosks. Just having 2 kiosks would have alleviated the issue. It's a total shame because the drinks are SOOOOO good. It's incredibly delicious and I truly wish I could come back but I can't risk another situation where I just wasted almost half an hour just because I can't order due to the shop being poorly set up. I felt really stupid even waiting that long but I stubbornly wanted to try the drinks to see if they were any good. At that point it was sunk cost fallacy so I may as well see it through to the end. Was pleasantly surprised by Pink Cactus Tea. We came around 10 pm on a Sunday and it was fairly busy. The seating area is pretty large and there were also board games to play with so definitely a very nice place to go for groups. I got the cactus sunrise at 50% sweetness and it was really good (could definitely go down to 25% and still have a lot of flavor i think). Lots of mango and dragon fruit chunks! And their drinks are pretty good too, they have a large selection and most of them are pretty decently a hit. Their loyalty point system is good for regulars and very convenient if you want to add it to your Apple wallet to just scan and go, or you can use their check in offer for a cool 20% off Staff here has always been nice and speedy, and WiFi has never gave me any issues ever. They're usually open late, which I'm grateful for since I'm a huge night owl and I need my boba fix in the later hours. Have tried a few other items from the menu since my original review - the oolong milk tea pink bucket comes with 3 toppings of your choice included and 100% was fine, not too sweet at all. Passionfruit kumquat tea has lime slices in it and was very refreshing. Popcorn chicken was good but you get the chili powder in the side so you spice it yourself. Fried tofu was on the softer side. They have a good special where you can buy 2 drinks and get the 3rd one for $1, just can't use it in conjunction with your rewards number. I've seen this place in many "study corner" lists, but I'd have to disagree. They have decent wifi if you want to work but the aesthetics and noises which can get loud are distracting and not the best place to get any studying or work done.
