Still better than Kung Fu Tea and Teaspoon, to give you some idea. *Three Cousins Milk Tea (boba, egg pudding, red bean) -- passable milk tea but soggy, mushy family of bubble tea toppings Mama-birded into a cup, especially with the disintegrated red bean skins floating about. *Mixed Fresh Fruit Sago w/ Coconut Milk (mango, watermelon, honeydew) -- so watered down w/ very faint coconut milk flavor. Addition of sago detracted from the fresh fruit chunks, which were a delightful and refreshing combo I'm not used to seeing this time of year. *Jasmine Osmanthus Green Milk Tea w/ boba -- best tasting tea of the bunch. Punchy floral notes missing from most Jasmine milk teas. This one I liked! *Golden Breaded Surimi Crab Claw -- just large nuggets of imitation crab dressed up like something special with those pointless crab claws that don't impart any flavor or practicality (too puny and deeply embedded to pick up) but do pose potential liability for tooth injury (watch out!). *Karaage Octopus -- not bad actually, just a bit insane of a price point (over $12) for the scant handful of octopus scraps you get. Overall, not a quality tea bar and not a good value in my opinion. Might be your "cup of tea" if in search of a cutesy hipster joint with neon selfie ops and karaoke next door. P.S. They have a good selection of drinks very similar to what you can get at other boba spots for same price point and I opted for the fresh strawberry slush w/ crystal boba and my friend ordered a passionfruit green tea w/ boba. Service was quick and the staff were nice, we sat down and they brought us our drinks to our table. I was pleasantly surprised with how the slush tasted, it wasn't artificial tasting at all. Their storefront is a cute and simple sign though as soon as we stepped in wasn't prepared to see the cute and vibrant decor of KAWS with floor to ceiling art, super cute neon Instagram worthy wall with some industrial vibe. The owner comes up with some unique sips like Avocado Coffee Latte which comes with fresh avocados but I found something that I normally don't find basically anywhere and it's "Genmaicha"!! Genmaicha tea with Matcha Milk Foam to be exact and it was the perfect cup that I couldn't get enough of! Matcha milk foam was light but not too sweet and the Genmaicha was a light and had the hint of roasted tea flavor while the Super Mix Fruit Tea with Crystal Boba I had it with Four Seasons Tea and the mixed fruit was chopped up versus large slices which we really like better and appreciate it being so fresh and refreshing. As we sat and enjoyed the coziness of this shop the staff was just so nice and friendly we almost didn't want to leave but had a long drive to go but will definitely be back as this type of cup was crafted for comfort.
