I ended up leaving with a sexy summer top and some great jean shorts. Prices are on par with an H&M and deals are readily available all around the store. My issue with some of the designs involves sleeve length and the cut. I love double breasted and denim but never used this jacket. The armpits hang too low and the sleeves are very long. What was I thinking paying $75! I was going to put it in the coat drive but thought I would ask my daughter if she wanted it first. She wears her clothes tighter than I do. I prefer loose fitting and comfortable these days. As for the sleeves she sews so she may shorten them or roll them up. I've aged out of the Free People style. I do want to recommend this location if you like a trendy style. AND have the body that accommodates their fit.

On a more personal note, I visited Albertine three times before deciding to feature it on The Boutique of the Week, not because I was wary of the selection, but the price is higher than my norm. However, Albertine truly is too good to pass up and is the perfect place to splurge and treat yourself to an amazing piece (or two, or three...). The jewelry is the best feature of Albertine and will have you coming back just to drool over it. The exquisitely edited collection is priced from $100 to a steep $1,000+. The beautiful vintage pieces are displayed in glass cases, but touching and dressing up is encouraged. Delicate necklaces share a wall with leather cuffs, and pendants of owls and horns share a case with a silver snake ring and jade earrings. Prices can only be found out from a large binder where handwritten notes and photos document the inventory. The womenswear boasts up-and-coming designers and custom-made pieces that are feminine and vintage-inspired ranging from $150-600+. Flowy fabrics in all colors can be found in floor-length silk gowns and highly-structured bomber jackets. The cozy store normally only has one or two sizes displayed, but the staff is happy to find you the perfect fit in the back. A Victorian couch faces a large mirror for ample viewing, and you can even sometimes find the owner's dog napping as the eclectically chic staff offers spot-on critiques and styling tips. The whole place was well lit and bright making it very exciting to browse through all the racks and shelves. They had many styles of clothes for all seasons to go through in all colors. Towards the back of the store was the baby section with all the newborn clothes with pastel colors. They had onesies from 0 months to 1 year old. They had shoes on one of the wall for toddlers. Other than that the shoes were not available to try out and only the samples were shown on the wall. You needed to ask the staff for a size to try the shoes on so that sucked. I thought it was a self service where you can grab a size to try on. The whole place did not have that many styles of hats to choose from. There were a couple of berets in red and navy. I decided to get a red beret hat with a cute red bow for my daughter. The size of the hats are not consistent. There was a size for 2T and then there was another size from 2T to 5. Why would they have a 2T to 5 and a standalone 2T? The sizes were really weird. Then the biggest size was the 6 and up. I opted for the 2T to 5 and when I came back home to put it on my daughter, it was a bit tight even though she was in the age range of the hat. The self checkout register was in the middle of the store. The cashier was really nice and quiet. It matched my type of customer service. He was very focused on wrapping up my hat in nice wrapping paper. The paper bag my hat came in was very nice and pretty for gifting.

I saw on the reviews that the shipping was quick and immediately placed an order. My order still hadn't shipped by a week, so I sent a message to the email (none of the phone numbers work). I did not get a response. I then sent another one a couple days later and only got the response "I will reach out to the warehouse to have them ship this ASAP". 2 weeks later and the package still is not in the mail. I was charged for the items and I am not sure I will ever get them. What makes it worse is the lack of communication via the only form of communication- email.
