The hours for the walk in Wednesday were like 10 to 2 or something similar - lunchtime. When we got there, the lady was quite frazzled and seemed a little bit overwhelmed. I think they had a pretty large showing of people. She was super sweet though and excited about walking Wednesday being every day in April. We wanted to go again, but couldn't really find concrete online evidence as to whether it was Wednesday or just that one. Either way, it was a super good deal, and it was kind of fun to have a little lunch date at a very affordable price. The lady working was incredibly helpful and explaining what to do, but also letting us have space. The whole project only took about 30 minutes so it was pretty quick. My partner and I chose the same one because it was simply the coolest offered. They did have a good amount of choices though, and certainly something for everyone was available. After you choose your piece and your sticker, they show you how to apply different paint colors and we went to work. I kind of wish there was a little more involvement because we took our time and it still took only 30-45 minutes. Curious about how this is a BYOB because I would've barely had time to have a drink. Maybe some of the other projects are a bit more involved? it seems like they have some events that happened throughout the week and of course they are famous for parties and I'm sure that probably takes longer to get set up and stuff. Overall, this place is pretty close to town and was totally worth it as a spot to stop. we thought the quality of the products was really high and the guidance was appropriate. It was beautifully organized and such a joy to be surrounded by neighbors, all creating something together. I'm genuinely excited to see our tile incorporated into the final piece. It means so much to have businesses like this that foster creativity and connection--helping to make our community better and more vibrant for everyone. Being in the space was inspiring and see us going back in the future when our baby is bigger to do so more creative projects. So much art to see and all made right here.

Lena herself is extremely talented, friendly and professional. I brought my own t-shirt and as the instructions posted on the website state: Wash Only DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER. For a first time intro I ended up with an epic shirt. Hahaha! So very pleased with myself. Well this broke the ice and I am going to do it again and again. Wash. Tie-Dye. Repeat.

I've learned more from her than any art teacher I've taken classes from in the past. She also teaches a variety of after school art classes for children as well as classes throughout the school year. It's always fun to see what the younger students come up with. She's pretty amazing and supportive of the kids as well. Her class offerings change regularly as well, so there's never a dull moment. I've taken PMC classes, mosaic art as well as the adult studio classes. Peggy's studio is really awesome - there are a lot of tools, supplies, books, and more to draw inspiration from. The grounds are lovely too - beautiful garden area with flowing water. It's a creative oasis for art students in Cupertino. :-)

She teaches a variety of techniques in ceramics and allows her students to think for themselves and use their imagination. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had and you will benefit so much if you or your child chooses to take a class (or several classes) from her!

They are located in an old house (I believe) that has been transformed into an art gallery/ framing studio/ Art bar/ Studio space. The upstairs level is the art gallery. It is absolutely gorgeous with each room with different colored painted walls to make the art on display really pop. They have dragon head sculptures, calligraphy art, burlesque photography, unique jewelry and so much more. My favorite part of this gallery is actually one of the walls-one of the owners has been (over time) gold leafing one of the walls and it is absolutely stunning. I am dreaming of doing this in my future home one day myself now. The bottom level of the space is where the magic happens. There is an "art bar" which is full of all the art supplies that you could imagine. You can take art workshops here with a group of friends, do an art project by yourself, or do a boxed art project with all of the instructions and materials provided. I recently did a group Mixed Media art workshop. A group of six of us did a three hour workshop led by Patrice. She is a great teacher, the class was super affordable, and it was super fun! For $35-$60 (depending on canvas size), we each created our own unique textured, colorful artwork. We were instructed on how to use the different materials (paint, stamps, modeling paste, mod podge, h20 colors, pitt pens, oil pastels, napkins, tissue paper, etc) and given inspiration. Within the three hour time period, each of us was able to start and complete a piece of art. I truly love this place and recommend it for anyone who loves looking at art (walk through the gallery), anyone who is intimidated by the idea of making art (take a no-pressure workshop with Patrice), or active artists (always good to try new things). This is a large space filled with tons of locally made artwork. There is everything from jewelry, scarves, paintings, photography and most any other art/crafts you can imagine. This is a great space to decorate your home, to buy gifts, or just to look around for creative inspiration. When I visited, two of the artists were there to greet me and tell me about the gallery. They were very friendly and helpful yet allowed me to stroll through the space alone. I appreciated my experience here and hope to be back soon!
