I think I've finally found my nail salon since moving here! It's been hard to find a nail tech that can do almond or stiletto shaped nails. They did a great job! My nail tech Tom did a great job on my dip manicure. He was friendly and we chatted about California and Arizona. Hannah, the nail tech next to us, also did an amazing job on acrylics with a girl sitting next to me. Hannah was also super friendly, making jokes and making me feel comfortable and welcome. I came for a pedicure and have two nails fixed. I don't like how they aren't you front about pricing with you they kinda just start doing things. I had no clue how much a pedicure was or get polish or what it costs to have the two nails fixed especially since what they fixed wasn't actually what I wanted but they had no clue what textured glitter was. I definitely wasn't expecting $60. They don't stay up on the latest trends,etc just the same basic things. I like the newest styles and what you see on Pintrest but they had no clue what I was asking for. It'll do for now atleast my thumbs look somewhat better than they did. The massage was nice I did like that part. I probably would only return for a pedicure. Update: I called and was questioned as if I was making up the response because the front desk person "didn't hear anything about this." Nails look amateurish and one was broken and shapeless when I came in and it still looks like a shapeless blob. My nail beds are sore for some reason and he blamed my having lotion on my hands for the dip not adhering as it was supposed to. Never had that issue before and I hadn't put lotion on in at least a few hours. After that the tech was not friendly and clearly agitated that my fingers weren't staying positioned correctly enough. The frontman for the establishment never smiles, doesn't make eye contact, taps the hand that he needs to work rather than ask or speak to me. As a 30-plus year Cosmetologist, I will not return to this business because more than 50% of a Service Industry provider is to have a PLEASANT chair-side disposition. I had read mixed reviews about this place. This was my first and last time going there. I have my usual spot, but a friend and I were nearby this pace so we stopped in. I have been getting gel manis for years and have never had mine done in only 20 minutes. This place is obviously popular based on the amount of people that were there. I felt like I was inconveniencing the nail tech since he was more interested in checking the football game scores on his phone versus doing my nails. The massage was the most lackluster I've ever had. He basically just put lotion on my hands and that's it. My friend was getting a pedi and her nail tech got annoyed when she asked if the tools had been sanitized since she is used to her usual place getting them out of the UV sanitizer. Let's start from the beginning from when I first called to make an appointment which should've been the first red flag. The lady that who answered phone to make the appointment was not only working on a client. She was greeting people opening or coming through the door and she was trying to take my appointment when I would answer her when she was speaking, she wouldn't let me know if she wasn't speaking to me, so I never knew when she was actually talking to me. She started getting frustrated with me and I just couldn't understand why she was mad at me when I didn't know when she was talking to me. The guy who did my nails, his name is (Son). Not sure if that's the correct spelling. He didn't greet me, he didn't say hello how are you... Literally nothing. It was like I went to the rudest, meanest little man ever. He didn't say anything other than him just pointing where for me to sit. Then, told me " DONT MOVE". He's also so lazy. Everything was him trying to cut corners. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years. I have a good idea of how it should be done. I told him I wanted clear pink polish so he knew it was gonna be see-through. ITS CLEAR!!!! He didn't fix my acrylic the correct way, so it looked horrible. None of my nails are the same size or the same width. He had his dermal out cleaning under my nails to file down my real nail, but didn't get it all so I had asked if he could do it again and then told me he didn't have the tool and he would drill through my nail. He went stupid and didn't know how but he did some of them already at the beginning but needed to finish.He is rough and will toss/move you. I had to ask him to stop throwing my hands. I felt like I got screwed from the start with the bad service and still tried giving them a chance. I only went here because of the reviews of the people who no longer work here and now I know why they left. So if you try them out bring your husbands because he's not gonna rough you around and treat you like that with them there. read more

I am surprised by some of the poor reviews for this location. I travel extensively for work and frequent salons across three states and have received the best powder dip and gel nails here, not to mention that it's the least expensive location. I find the staff very efficient, and they work quickly, which is something I value. Maybe that's being interpreted as rude, but I have always been treated well. I have recommended this salon to my family and friends for the quality of work given in a timely manner, and they've had the same experience as mine. It's worth giving PNWNS a try!!! read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews because we all have bad days...but the treatment I got here was unacceptable. I hope the management reads this and does something about it. I truly do!! I called and booked for a gel manicure with a friend. I had a young man sit in front of me and my friend got one of the ladies. The young man not only didn't greet me at all but he didn't say a word...to start. I wish he'd kept it that way. I eventually said Would you like me to tell you what I want? He only nodded. I explained I only wanted the tips painted in a diamond type polish - not the whole nail. He informed me it was $5 extra. When I questioned it he asked me where I had my nails done before and when I said the area (not name of place), he rudely informed me that he has worked in many places and they always charge so he doesn't know where I went. I let that one go although his comment and attitude greatly annoyed me! Then he asked if I had powder on my nails, I said I don't know and he started talking to one of the other ladies about my nails. He then got out acrylic tips and I mistakenly thought he misunderstood and he was putting them on so I pulled my hand away and said No that's not what I want. From there the story goes downhill... not only did he aggressively answer me back and yelled but he got up rudely and walked away mumbling in his own language. He spoke to me so disrespectfully that my friend even suggested we leave. One of the other ladies spoke to the young man and for the remainder of my time there he kept his mouth shut. I, on the other hand, was FUMING!!! I turned my body away from him and looked towards the door the entire time I was there. However, when he finished his job I very gently told him that I was going to give him advice. I told him to never ever speak to his customers like that again...that he had hurt me and this was a treat for me to get my nails done. He was cocky and kept trying to interrupt but I stopped that and repeated myself once again until he understood. I think the best tip I gave him was to be polite and courteous to his future customers. I actually feel bad for whoever spends money in this establishment. Never ever again! To the manager: do better! People spend good money in your shop - they don't deserve the utter disrespect from your nail technicians. It is NOT OK! read more

Most of the workers there (not all) are rude and treat you they are doing you a favor by providing you a service. The guy that did my nails (sits right up front) burnt me with the drill twice and when I flinched he acted annoyed with me, didn't even apologize. I called him out on it at the end and he said next time I won't do your nails. Oh there won't be a next time. Great way to treat your customer. But then customer service doesn't seem to be high on their priority. On a side note be sure to get your appointment early or be prepared to wait. They will pack in every customer that comes in and you will wait (appointment or not). Money is the name of the game there not the quality of the experience. read more

My cuticles were not thoroughly cut and merely pushed underneath my skin. I didn't notice it when the nail technician was doing it, but once i showered, all the cuticle skin appeared. I highly recommend this place for a pedicure and manicure. I've been here a few times, but I think my go-to guy is now Jimmy. I believe he is one of the owners. He is super fun to talk to and always makes me laugh. And of course, he makes my nails beautiful. Some of the other technicians aren't that great (for example, they take an HOUR to do my gel mani that had no old gels... Wtf?) Anyways, maybe other people are great there too but I have yet to find out. I'll probably just stick with Jimmy. Unfortunately I did not ask specifically for Jimmy on my last visit and got an older gentleman (sits in far corner under tv) who used a electric nail buffer to remove my old gel polish and went way too low into my nail, making them weak. He also buffed my skin in three places, which really hurt and took a few days to heal. My nails were also very oddly shaped. I will do my nails at home from now on. read more

Gotta update my review given the few time I've been back here in the last 6 months. The place seems to have gone downhill on the last year. I stopped going and went back to being fully loyal to Be & Q because: A. The shop is really dirty, even when you go first thing in the morning B. The older gentleman they stuck me with the last two pedicures takes SO long, doesn't do a good job...even an adequate job would help but no. C. I watched them not clean a tub between pedi clients. D. Got nail fungus on three of my toe nails after the last time I was here and we all know how impossible that is to get rid of. My experience this past time wasn't amazing unfortunately. I made my appointment for dip nails and they got me in and everything. That was great. When I went to choose the color I picked a blue and they ran out. So I picked a different blue. They didn't have it. Then I picked a blue that was too see through so the guy went and grabbed the two blues they did have and let me choose. That was a bit frustrating. He did my nails they turned out good but then I had to move and sit under the light for 10 minutes, which I was not used to. Eventually I wanted to check if they were done to which I dabbed my nail then accidentally got another nail. I didn't ask to have them fixed since they were busy.
