Denise was extremely patient and helped cut each little part of the fish for me. I was very excited with how both of our stepping stones turned out! This is the perfect place for a fun day learning something new! Whether it is with friends, family, or a date night! Creating stepping stones was a more detailed process than I ever imagined. I am so glad we were able to learn from a professional. I felt like Denise truly gave us the knowledge we needed to continue pursuing this hobby if we wanted. She gave us a book she wrote about how to make stepping stones! I don't usually spend this much on a date. However the price was absolutely worth it after we experienced the process! There is a lot of supplies, time, and work that goes into this class. I highly suggest giving it a try! Denise also let us know about a bunch of other classes she offers! We toured the facilities, the workshops, we actually sat down for some demos from the visual arts department, and then gathered around a kiln for a raku ceramics demo, which was ideal on a cold winter afternoon (winter in Florida?). Also, we were able to visit the gallery, which was hosting a photograph exhibit on the history of turn of the century Lake Apopka, about 40 miles away due West, and that was very interesting and enlightening. We also printed a poster, among other things. Personally, I think it was fun to talk/meet some of the faculty, not that I am immediately looking for a new teacher, but it is good to pick one who has some similarities, or none at all. Challenge yourself. After this visit, I will consider taking some classes here. Or come to more events. I really like Crealdé.

I called today (9 days before the first day) and I was told that it was too late and the last day was Yesterday (10/09/23) (10 days before first session). I pointed out the policy and was told that "session" didn't mean class and it was incorrect so I couldn't get my money back. This is fraudulent. I will be contacting the correct state department for this. This is extremely unprofessional and clearly lacks clarity. If your policy is outdated, correct it on the website. I finally decided on a date . I then sent her my design and it was approved to use. My class was at 12pm on Sunday the 17th and it took about 2 &1/2 hrs to get finish my design . I will say it started off ruff for me trying to grasp the instructions but, once I did I was able to navigate the design . The advise they give is to " Trust the Process" & I can't stress that enough ! After you're done she'll email you once the rug is ready to be picked up . It still has to be trimmed etc. This was an Amazing activity to do solo , for a date night or even as a group . You can also do this family style with the kids. I'll def be back . I def feel like you get your value you paid . The shop is very cute and I look forward to trying some other designs. They will be offering new services this summer like creating a stool design etc so def keep your eye out for updates.

The class can take 3-4 hours which includes a tutorial. You can also bring food and drinks since you're there for a bit. I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It can be for any occasion or just for fun. I came back 2 weeks later to pick up my rug and she was having a cozy couples RnB night. The lights were dimmed and it was a vibe! I believe it's done the last Tuesday of every month(check the schedule) I already want to come back to create something else.

While I realize this is true, demanding jobs and adult responsibilities can get in the way of nurturing ones artistic tendencies. This is a great way to get an introduction to various art forms with low commitment. Doesn't matter if you are "talented" or not. I think it's not so much about the end product, but more of the process of creating that is important. Online registration is simple, and materials and tools are available for use during class. Some upcoming classes include scarf dyeing, freeform baskets, and paper marbling. I found the classes to be reasonably priced--others I have looked into were $40 a session, which I thought was a bit much.
