The most unprofessional part of it is that the money was never refunded to my account. Even though they called me and asked me if I wanted the funds given back and I told him yes. Anyway I knew at some point I would get my finances back. So I just made a call and let them know that they never gave me back my money and then I would like to use the credit for a class. With no issues at all they made it happen. We had a lady name Ebony who was definitely well knowledgeable about painting. She also sold me one of her paintings as well. Definitely a beautiful painting that I had to take home with me. She was great as far as her leader ship, her knowledge of painting and her overall ability to just have some fun and give great directions with a small group on a Wednesday. I normally just do food for yelp, but because this was so much fun and so entertaining I definitely want others to know about this place. An instructor led us from beginning to end making a bowl. They were very thorough, patient, and welcoming. We sat down on the wheel forming our clay within minutes, I'd say we had our fully formed bowls within 30-45 minutes. They pulled them for us and began drying them for us to glaze at the tables with the turntables. The place was pretty empty so they let us take our time with glaze. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend for a date, family outing, or any other event. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's worth a visit and there are memberships available as well!

Everything was already set up and ready for us when we arrived. However, the painting process seemed very rushed and not very instructive. We had several individuals who asked the instructor to slow down but she continued to paint. There was a period of about 5 minutes where she wasn't saying anything and just working on her own painting - kind of odd. She came around a few times to check on everyone's work and help whoever needed it. But she made comments like, "This is what you learn in elementary school" and "That is what happens with amateur painters". She did proceed her comments with, "I don't want to be offensive", by that still doesn't make it right. There are so many other instructive painting places like this and this one doesn't stand out well from its competitors.

It's not just a woman's activity either - a lot of couples and groups come, and the men seem to have a great time too (and it is BYOB). I've been there twice, and both times were so much fun. The staff does a great job of keeping an eye out for questions and tips for your painting, while explaining how to get different desired effects (one staff member paints while the other walks the room). They break up the painting time with fun games, like pass the wine cork, that results in prizes from paint pens to gift certificates for future visits. And if you make a mistake your inner perfectionist just can't live with, they offer an SOS class once a months where you can being in your painting and fix whatever your heart desires. Four of us came for a private group workshop to celebrate my birthday and had the best time. It was…read moreon my wish list for a while and I'm so glad we found Orlando Glassblowing Center to make it happen! We each made 1 large item and could choose from a list of options. Since we chose 3 different things to make, we got to see different processes and learn more about how you can make the glass do various things, use the tools, etc. We chose a drinking glass, a wavy bowl, and a thick bowl. Each of us was able to choose whatever color or color combo we wanted as well, so there was a lot of opportunity for customization. The staff member who worked with us was informative but also funny and kept the whole session interesting even during the times when someone else was making their item and the rest of us were just watching. He told us which items were a little more hands on so we could do more parts of the process as well. The items need to be held for a few days before pick up, but the pick up process was also simple. We truly had a great time and would love to come back.
