But felt free to take a walk in and begin her nails. Absolute worst experience. My friend and I were here for a pre engagement thing and they ruined this experience for us. WORST fill ever. Chien, one of the nail specialists did a HORRIBLE job: *Acrylic not filled to the cuticle so it looked like my nails had already grown out for a week. *Filing is so uneven. The shape and the thickness doesn't match on any of the nails, it looks sloppy that each nail is different. *He only polished the top of the nail and the sides were left with no polish even after I asked for it to be fixed. First visit went very well. The staff is very polite and helpful. You are greeted with a smile and offered a complimentary beverage. I chose the Hawaiian experience for my pedicure. Ly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. The pedicure chairs are high tech. It did take me awhile to find the massage settings that I wanted but it was fun getting there. There is also an iPad that you can use while you are being pampered. I love that the tools come in sterilized packages that are opened in front of you. I can relax easier when I know that the tools are clean. I left very relaxed and looking forward to my next visit. The did a beautiful inside. You'd never know that it used to be a restaurant. They also have a great website that you can book your appointment and select a favorite technician. I would only suggest that they give a detailed description of each different pedicure level. DANGEROUS salon. in addition to the extreme cutting practices per below, developed the scariest fungal infection on whole foot precisely two days later. this is the first time in my life that I stopped for a medical disinfectant on the way home from a nail salon, and am actively in pain: the tech literally cut so much skin off that I have gaping gaps of raw flesh where skin should be surrounding my big toes. This is really unacceptable, and medically dangerous to clients! I called to inform the manager once I left and realized how bad it was, and received only a "thanks for calling": not any kind of even quick apology. just--Wow. After getting my hair done nearby I walked in on a whim for a gel manicure - wait time was less than 10 minutes and the selection of polish colors was almost overwhelming (in a good way!) I was offered a beverage (soda, bottled water, or wine!) and seated at Kim's station. She was friendly, and worked quickly but delicately. My nails look great and I am already planning a trip back! I walked in and was greeted by a nice woman who asked what I needed. I told her I just needed my gels taken off and she told me to go fill out a card. After doing so, an extremely kind man took me to a station. The man at the station must have been having a bad day, because he was very brisk, rushed me through the gel removal, and started scraping the gel off before it was ready. I told him twice I wanted to wait for the acetone to do its job and said we needed to be patient. When he started talking to the other employees and they started looking at me, it appeared as if I had done something very offensive. I told them "I just need to wait." The first woman who greeted me then appeared annoyed, saying "ok, you can wait! 30 minutes?" And I said I just needed about 10. Honestly, when I try to scrape off gel before it starts to peel itself back, my nails peel off too and get very thin. The man originally doing my nails made me get up and sit in another chair. He walked away, and after about ten minutes, a very sweet woman took me in her chair. I tried to explain how I just needed to wait for the gel to work but clearly I had offended them and no one would listen. They were very brisk with me (except for the nice lady doing my nails), and when I tried to say I didn't want a square nail but a more rounded square, it went downhill so I told her I'd fix it all later. The woman who originally greeted me gave me an angry look. Honestly, I've never been treated in such a hostile manner when simply asking for what I need. When my normal mani pedi spot was booked, I decided to give this place another shot. I should have known I made a mistake when I walked in and NO ONE was there. I went with it because I was desperate. I picked my colors and got in the chair. It took an hour before anything was done to my actual toes. The gentleman massaged my feet for an hour and it was very uncomfortable. I finally had to ask him to stop. He left the mask on my feet and it was stuck between my toes. It took so much time I couldn't even get my dip manicure because I would have been there for 2 more hours. What they said would take 45 minutes took 1.5 hours. Icing on the cake is - I don't even think it was the right color....but it took so long I did not want to start over. Don't waste your time or your $$! read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I came here for the first time last weekend with 16 girlfriends for my birthday party and THEY WERE AMAZING! They had a system that worked efficiently with all of us so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy ourselves. We were able to bring some food and champagne and have music playing (all for free) and they set up a table for us too. My girls and I are still raving about this place and I'm hoping to make this an annual celebration. Thank you so so soooo much! I came here for pedicure with appointment but when I came I saw 2 two clients was pedi with The owner couple. After I took the color i wait about 15 minutes and I look around I didn't see any other nails technician and I fell bad don't have anybody ask me something until they finished 2 pedicure about 20 more minutes. Then the lady came ask me, I tell her I have appointment why i have to wait too long but she didn't understand what I say. I think her English very poor and she doesn't care . At that time have two Girl come in ( look like Vietnamese) they talk to loud and angry they request the owner pay when they work before. I fell noisy and not professional for the business so I think that why they can hire any nails technician work for them. I never see the nails salon like that and I left. Exceeds expectations! Ly was the most detail-oriented nail tech that I have ever encountered. She knows what looks best and is spot-on in her recommendations. I showed her a picture on Pinterest and she picked the perfect colors and styled my nails exactly as I want them + more! It's very expensive though. Hate to give a bad review to anyone... But I complained to owner and all he said was sorry. Seriously???? I told him it was the worse pedicure I have ever had. The tech was new to spa. I have gone there multiple times before and never had a problem. This new girl spent almost no time on my feet. She massaged my legs.. Feet..clipped my nails and polished toes. Total ?30 minutes max. Cost was $40 I left there with callouses that are usually scraped off and dry heels. It was a awful pedicure. I get a pedicure every 2 weeks due to very dry feet. I am usually in FL. Got my nails done here and am extremely disappointed with quality of end product and my experience overall. I got gel manicure for a trip and when I got there the main guy at the reception was on the phone and disregarded we were there even though we had an appointment. After he acknowledged us we were sent to our places and my friend had to see 4 different technicians for no reason and was told nothing. We were never offered complimentary beverages and every time a regular customer came in the energy was very different the main guy was very nice to them while acting like we didn't matter. To top it off my gel manicure is already peeling off after ONE WEEK not even. I paid a lot of money for gels when I could have gotten the same quality from a polish change. My friends acrylics are also discolored and missing polish. This was an awful first experience and disappointing since I love getting my nails done. Simply the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon--and I've been to some hole-in-the-wall places. The pictures I have posted really speak for themselves. Pinky & Toes gives a great impression when you walk in: it's beautifully decorated and seems very clean. The ambiance is more like a spa than most nail salons. A sign on the door even says they give out complimentary beverages, how could it get any better, right? (They did not in fact offer any beverages when I walked in). Shame on me for judging a book by its cover. I came home from the "service" they provided me and had to cut my nails to the quick because of all the damage it did. The worst part is, I came in for probably the simplest service offered at a nail salon: I just needed my gel manicure removed before I had to travel the next day. If I weren't in such a rush, I probably wouldn't have tolerated the treatment I received. I come in and the staff is amazed that this is a gel manicure; they keep asking me if I'm sure these aren't acrylic nails (Are you sure? Are you sure? Yes I am sure!). They seem bewildered by this so-called "gel manicure" I am showing them. This should have been a sign to run out the door right then and there. But I thought that maybe having some decoration on the nail made it look acrylic, whatever, how can you mess up a polish removal, right? An older man (I think his name was Chen) comes over to me and silently steers me over to his station. He has a look at my nails and then, without saying anything, takes a metal nail file and begins to PEEL THE GEL POLISH OFF MY NAILS (for those who are unaware, gel polish is meant to be removed by soaking the nails in acetone). Let me say that again: HE PEELED, YANKED, AND JABBED THE NAIL POLISH OFF OF MY FINGERS WITH A NAIL FILE. He was extremely rough and I actually yelped in pain a couple of times from his treatment. I could not believe what I was seeing. I thought (more like desperately HOPED) that this was some alternative method of removing gel polish that I'd just never seen before. I waited patiently as torn, thin, peeling, ruined nail was revealed underneath as he ripped the polish off my nails--all the while wondering what he was going to do to fix the nails he was so obviously destroying. The answer came as he finished: absolutely nothing. He presented me with flaky ruined nails and expected me to get up and leave. I looked at him in horror and asked him if he could at least buff my nails, which he did. The pictures I have posted are the result AFTER he buffed away a lot of damage. Then he simply stared at me, waiting for me to leave. I seriously wonder if the person who did my nails is even licensed. Pinky & Toes both valued my business (i.e. money) too much to admit to me that they didn't know how to deal with my gel manicure, and valued me as a person too little to put any effort into giving me a good (even acceptable!) experience. I know I wasn't exactly in there for a full-spa treatment, but at bare minimum I expect honesty and nails that are in no worse condition than when I walked in. Pinky & Toes provided neither. I love this place. I've been there four times now for Hawaiian spa pedis and gel manicures and have had a few different technicians and each time the service was amazing and my nails came out perfectly. I would have given 5 stars but today James at the front desk forgot to tell my pedicurist that I was also getting a manicure afterward so she took another client and I had to wait more than 30 minutes for her to finish to get my mani. The prices are very reasonable, all the massage chairs work, the place is clean, and they have a great selection of colors. Chien, one of the owners, can be quite rough when working on your nails and on two separate occasions has cut my fingers so I don't use him anymore but use the ladies instead. The salon is immaculate and the staff is friendly. The range of pedicure options is impressive. I settled on a foot mask and feel treatment for $50 and it was worth every penny. I was provided excellent service and offered refreshments, the use of an iPad, and a fantastic massage by their pedi-chairs. That's where the good part of my trip ended. I was escorted around to the mani/fill station. I needed a full and show the nail tech a very simple "dot" daisy design I wanted to try out. He said no problem, and we began. Well, needless to say, 5 of my cuticles are now bleeding and inflamed because he was way too rough with his sander and the dot designs doesn't look anything like I asked for. I probably would have kept this at 4 stars if it hadn't been for the fact that when I went to dry I overheard the receptionist apologizing for double booking a party in over another parties appointment. This is the best nail spa I've been to since moving to Worcester. Everyone was professional, courteous, and attentive. There is a separate space for pedicures, which is my main concern. There are many treatment options (masques, scrubs, paraffin, etc.) and prices are reasonable. The technicians are skilled and I never felt rushed-they took their time on the massage and I was truly relaxed. There is plenty of off-street parking behind the building, which is where the main entrance is. I will definitely be going back and recommending this to all my friends read more
