Even using the higher end of those ranges ($15 + $20 is only 35). It is clear that I was over-charged by at least $10.. I went back in to express my concerns about the pricing, but unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed. I was simply told that they have rent to high pay. While I understand that businesses have overhead expenses, pricing should still be competitive and reasonable for the services provided. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so that others are aware of the pricing before booking an appointment. In my opinion, the service and overall experience did not justify the cost.

I was there last week and observed a middle-aged male technician 'clean' the manicure tools he'd just used on a client with just soap and water. He took the tools he used on his client over to the sink, washed them as he washed his hands, dried both on the same paper towel, went in the back, got a bag that stated the items had been sanitized, put them in and closed it, and dropped them on the desk. A few minutes later, another technician sat down, opened the 'sanitized' package of instruments, and used them on the next client. Manicure instruments, like surgical instruments, need to be sanitized in an autoclave to kill pathogens such as HIV and hepatitis. The Department of Public Health, which licenses these establishments, sets clear guidelines that this particular technician ignored. I love the work these folks do, and I always come out of here with super cute nails and toes. What I don't want to come out with, though, is a preventable disease!
