I went in to get my piercings put back in after having surgery.. but I waited 2 months so the holes in my nostrils and septum got a little smaller due to what I had put in them while I waited to go back in. Due to the challenges presented by my holes starting to close a little bit, it took a whole team to get me situated with the jewelry I wanted since I had selected jewelry in the size I had before, but what I shrunk down to. Brandon first told me it would $400 for each session because he couldn't finish it one after the $200 deposit but when I got to the register I said $400 right then he was like no $500 I was annoyed but paid it figured I just take that out of the tip then. Next session he should me a picture of the charms and what they would look like and it didn't end up looking like that even though he insisted it did he tried to fix it but just made it end up looking darker which I hated. He said he would do a free touch up but it would lighten up after healing which it didn't. I made the touch up appt because the tattoo he covered up was showing through. Had to wait another 2 months but when I went they didn't have me scheduled! He tried to apologize but the girl at the front desk never even tried to. He said he would come in half an hour early to fix it next week but then decided to bring over another tattoo artist to say you can barely see the other tattoo. Like what? I don't care if you paid to have something covered up it should be covered not trying to make me feel stupid for bothering you or that I was being an inconvenience. Along with complaining about the charms that look like chicken scratch or a kid coloring with a gray crayon I asked him to fix he said it was some of his best work if it was it would have been posted to Facebook like I have a mental disability but I'm not stupid so I was done and I decided not to go back to get the free touch up. I will get my old tattoo artist to fix it from where I lived and just make a vacation out of it probably should have done it to begin with. Really disappointed but I guess not even the best tattoo artist cant make every piece look good.

So I went in for a septum piercing and the manager with the back did it for me, it hurt very bad and afterward I noticed how high it was but I didn't say anything abt it bc I trusted the professional. Side note I also had trouble keeping the fastenings on it was like the didn't fit and even came back for a replacement and saw the guy again and he didn't say anything abt it being pierced incorrectly. After two days the piercing fell out and I let it bc I wasn't happy with it anyway. A couple months after I got a tat by a former employee that had left that shop and they told me the manager did coke before every piercing so I'm sure that had something to do with it!! Months after that I went to Atomic tats in Lakeland and it was a much more professional experience- the piercer checked my anatomy before piercing and it hardly hurt at all, he confirmed that angry elephant pierced my cartilage!! The problem with tattoos once the ink starts to flow, you're almost committed to the end of the…read moresession. I had a very simple addition to my tattoo. 5 letters, 4 numbers and a little color. My first sign that things were headed south was the half hour it took my artist to try to get his guns "operational". Once he hand drew the symbols and the ink started to flow, not only did his gun consistently malfunction but he had to go over the letters 4, not 3, not 5, but 4 times and the gap between the existing tattoo and the letters was a little less then even and that's being generous. Maybe it was his shaky hand, seriously. I should have known this wasnt going to end well when he said working in a tattoo shop was so much cleaner then when he was tattooing on kitchen tables in cockroach infested apartment a year ago. Live and learn. I asked for a green color blend from dark in the corners to bright in the middle. Feel like I need to look up the word blended in the dictionary now to make sure it doesnt mean two colors butted up against each other. The original artist there did a fine job on the original work but now the piece as a whole is a little askew. I wouldnt avoid the shop as a whole but I would make sure I'm not jumping through hoops and do a better job when I gage the artist I'm having do the work. No I wont name the artist, but I left a few clues in this review. Live and learn, the night is still young and once it heals I hope it can be fixed.
