They checked in on how I was feeling throughout the entire thing, explained every step, and made me feel at home. I forgot to eat the first time I came and almost passed out afterwards and they fed me snacks, gave me water, and fanned me down until I felt better. What!? I have never felt so safe! I've been to other piercers for my ears and they always rushed the process and were never personable. But here at Pinky's? Oh, no baby. They are incredibly friendly and personable people and it's fucking awesome. I recommend everyone come here--especially if you're a woman, trans, non binary. This a safe space for queer folks!

My artist was Shannon and she showed me what she came up with and once we confirmed she took some time to set up and sprung into action. She offered me water and bathroom breaks as needed. I love the way he incorporates these "nerdy" pop culture icons into his designs (Star Wars, X-Men, Ghostface, etc.). You can tell how seriously he takes his craft and it shows in his work. I didn't hesitate to go for a decent sized Darth Vader on my shoulder/arm, and it came out even better than expected. Less than 6 months later and I went back for my second tattoo from Cory - a traditional looking dragonfly for my moms 60th bday (she's always had a dragonfly tattoo). Again, perfection. The shop itself is awesome - very clean and open, with flash splattered on the walls and plenty of books showcasing art/tattoos from well known artists for inspiration/reference. The piercing went great, he offers medical grade lidocaine which I passed on because he did tell me honestly that the helix wasn't too bad. For aftercare he offers a saline mist to clean the area which I'm so glad I purchased ($11) because it gently sprays the area which was super nice.
