I think it is awesome this works for some people at home. For me it took IUI. Many years and thousands spent, one success with their help, would have loved another, but it is what it is. In retrospect, temp charting consistently may have upped the odds. The reality is, from my research, each donation is divided into up to four units to be sold. Their site saying a donor has a reported pregnancy may not be accurate - I suspect they fudge this if he has a child from a relationship (based on cinflicting data when I asked). What also worked on my one success was realizing that I would have better luck if I selected a donor who had a great track record. While the company itself does not provide this, occassionally other clients will share and that donor will still be in stock. I was more than willing to reduce my candidate pool to increase our odds and that worked beautifully. Unfortunately I was never able to replicate all those factors again, and I believe NW Cryo has hit a couple bumps in the road as far as modernization. Their prices are good, but my doctor said to plan for five or six IUI's to get one success. If doing it at home doesn't work after many attempts, it no longer feels like a convenient, dignified, value. I read somewhere that a doctor said it would take 80 vials for your average fertile woman to get pregnant (not just here, most banks). I no longer feel it is a reflection on my fertility that around 20 vials over 11 years yielded one success. Other clients are generally supportive and a wealth of information; doctors and banks are more apt to treat their steps in the process with rote indifference, perhaps they can't summon the same level of caring or enthusiasm because for them the more vials you buy, the better, regardless of outcome.

I know price shouldn't matter that much, but So, the price is great. What about the rest? NW Cryobank doesn't have as easy a user-interface as some of the more expensive cryobanks, but they're still pretty good. You can search by all the normal characteristics, and the free information on each donor is definitely detailed enough to give you a solid idea about who you're picking. I had a couple of questions about filling out their registration forms, and when I emailed them I got an almost immediate response. I haven't been using this sperm bank for very long, but based on my experiences so far I like them a lot, and would recommend them to anyone looking for some sperm.

I waited once with my pants and underwear off sitting with a piece of paper over my lap to see if I would get any direction on what to do, these are the words he chose to say to me, "I go the same place every time." Motioning for me to put my legs in the stirrups. He then instead of asking for me to spread my legs further, knocked my right leg open with force from his elbow. Not to mention when he uses the transvaginal ultrasound that he pushes very hard and doesn't give a rats ass about how that feels for YOU in YOUR body. I've been to many many fertility clinics in many different states and in Seattle as well and this man is AWFUL. I can not believe he is still in practice with the way he treats people. I mentioned this to the front desk and they basically said that because I am not HIS paying customer I am SOL on bedside manners and would have to endure the abuse. Are you kidding me?! After my last donation I was in so much pain and had developed cysts on my ovaries but even though he could have told me that, I had to go to 3 other doctors in Spokane to give me the answer. I spoke with those doctors about Dr. Robins and they told me to steer clear of him. I feel validated that other medical experts agree to avoid this piece of garbage person. I don't care if you are one of the only fertility doctors in Spokane, you don't deserve to treat anyone the way you treated me. GO TO SPOKANE REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE INSTEAD.

In agony, I began calling OBGYN offices and not one had availability to see me or it seemed did not want to take a new/ visiting patient. They all referred me to urgent care, which would not complete the necessary procedure and thus referred me to the ER. But, Henneberg's women's clinic suite 201 took me in. The friendly office staff thankfully asked their most amazing and competent ARNP, Jessica Brown, and she opened her schedule for me to be seen. Jess and her nurse, Kim, were fantastic! I am Beyond words of grateful expression when I think of them- their kind and friendly manner matched their competence. A Bartholins cyst is extremely painful to remove and Jess is the best at doing so- better than my OBGYN at home I. California. She performed the procedure to add a catheter and the office was so kind to me as I departed. Nurse Kim and Jess both followed up with phone calls and coordinating a marsupializaton on their busy calendar while I was still in town. If I lived in Coeur d Alene, they would be my primary! Okay, again with the scraping-and-fisting jokes…read more Now that the awkward bits are out of the way, I'd like to address some serious concerns. This practice seems to have ten times as many clients as they can handle. I'm always seen promptly, however, the doctor has no recollection of who I am when he walks in. I can finally write this review with a clear head now that some of the dust has settled. I had a series of ovarian cysts over the summer, presumably as a result of switching to a mirena IUD. (overshare, girlfriends!) After 6 pelvic exams in as many weeks and FIVE ultrasounds, it was beginning to feel a little.. well... I dunno, rapey? I like science. As a matter of fact, I love science. I just don't want to have SEX with science, get it? I was nearly in tears as the doctor told me that after a "rough" exam (trust me, Dr. Bermeo, I NOTICED) he didn't think there was anything truly wrong and that I was being dramatic. Oh, really? Because having a belly so distended that I can't wear jeans doesn't feel dramatic. Neither does YOUR advice to sustain pelvic rest for SIX WEEKS because I'm at risk of ovarian tortion (when your ovary flips over because of the weight of the cysts and it requires major abdominal surgery, resulting in the loss of fertility.) After telling me I'm being dramatic, he tells me that he'd like to schedule surgery for a double oophorectomy. Do you know what that is? No? I didn't either, so I asked for more information. Turns out, while I am being a total drama-queen, he is still suggesting that I undergo major abdominal surgery to remove my ovaries. But I'm overreacting. After all this, he's telling me he's going to put me back on the pill after all is said and done. Why bother? I won't have any ovaries! I made an appointment with a respected naturopath and was able to get in on a cancelation .. At this appointment, I learned how diet affects our body's ability to regulate things - LIKE HORMONES THAT CAUSE CYSTS. She suggested that I give up hormone-laden things like dairy and omit gluten and see where I was in a couple weeks... I've now been following my naturopath's advice for over a year with ZERO cyst activity .. and I still have my ovaries. Moreover, I've found a well-respected NEW gynecologist who doesn't patronize, belittle me or trivialize my situation. When she's got her hands inside me (or outside, for that matter) she is kind, thoughtful and expresses genuine concern for my wellbeing. She definitely strikes me as busy, but she never imposes her busyness on me as impatience or inconvenience. A patient should never feel like a burden on a doctor; it is because of this, as well as everything from above, that I feel that Dr. Bermeo and the whole Rockwood system can suck it.
