We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

Not sure how busy/crowded it feels when the course is open, but having the course as a backdrop to our dining experiences and our room was beautiful. There is a hiking trail we didn't attempt because it was windy and our allergies were already bothering us, but a very nice option for those without allergies (or not staying during the spring). There are also pickleball, tennis and bocce ball courts and a nice gym! Our room in the resort was very spacious, they were really accommodating with baby amenities for our 15 month old which is always helpful when you're traveling. Cordevalle provided a crib, baby bath tub, baby bath supplies and a diaper genie!

You would think the owner would invest more into the course instead of asking for more out of the course while straggling it to death in the process BUT... Superintendent Tom deserves a special shoutout--he goes above and beyond managing not only the maintenance side of things but also helps out in the pro shop, juggling everything thrown his way from what we witnessed that day. We played here during a tournament this week. While the course does have a few rough patches, overall it's a really fun and challenging layout. The greens are recuperating quite nicely from aerification work done. The experience was mostly great, with one unfortunate exception. We had a run-in with one of the greenskeepers--an older woman in a club cart who came flying down the path right as we were about to tee off. She jumped the curb in front of us without any regard for what was happening on the tee box. We tried to flag her down, but she responded with an angry fist gesture and kept going. We later found out from the group ahead of us that they had a similar experience with her. ( hole #14 ) It was disappointing to see such a lack of golf etiquette, especially from someone working on the course. A little respect for the players would go a long way. Hopefully, management addresses this behavior--either through training or reconsidering her role. Despite that one incident, every other greenskeeper was professional and respectful ( turning off machines or waiting for play ) we had a lovely time and are already looking forward to our next round here!

I have always loved this difficult layout but it is getting worse and worse as far as condition…read more The tee boxes and fairways are full of weeds and big bare spots of dirt. The greens are getting brown spots now. Its a shame to see this challenging course go down the tubes....

My…read morehusband and I chose to use the 10th Tee Ceremony Site, Practice Green for the cocktail hour, and the Monarch Room for our reception. All three spaces were just breathtaking and made for the perfect day. Everything was clean, organized and ready to go the day of, and the prep beforehand was also a breeze. It was also a very nice touch that both the bridal and groom parties were able to have a space on site to get ready the day of! Taylor is AMAZING! I worked with her from beginning to end, and she made my experience such an easy and fun experience. She is super fast with her responses, and very detailed as well. Plus she's just a super sweet person overall. She made the wedding planning seamless, which helped to confirm I could never turn into a Bridezilla!! Due to Covid, we weren't able to do a taste test for the food, but Taylor said the food was amazing, I trusted her, and it turns out the food was REALLY amazing. We chose steak, salmon, and pasta primavera and the guests were in love! The service here was also phenomenal. We asked for a few extra things here and there and they were able to accommodate. Amazing amazing staff!! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking to get married in the Santa Cruz/Aptos area. Thank you Taylor and thank you Seascape!!

They are way overpriced at 110 or more dollars on the weekends…read more This place is a 70‑dollar weekend course at best, and that's not taking into consideration the poor maintenance. I used to love golfing here, but in the past few years they have jumped the shark with the crazy high pricing. Twenty‑five dollars per rider is a crime. This place is a joke, and I hope they get their stuff together so I can consider returning.
