I have been in the rental property business for about 15 years now and have properties from north Carolina to Florida. I can say without hesitation that Mike with Pinnacle Property Management is one of the best property managers that I have used. Mike always returns calls in a timely manner and answers any question I might have. I've never had a problem with Mike performing his duties in a professional manner. He got me a local contractor once who did a repair cheaper than I could have done the job with my own crew who were then on another property. I have moved a lot..at least to several different states, and what feels like a billion different houses. This place has by far been the best..... we rented a 2 bd 2 ba duplex out on Charles Blvd. If something happened they were quick to fix it (although things rarely did happen.) Lilly (property manager) is a sweetheart, and absolute pleasure and has always been kind and understanding, you can tell she really cares and will do anything in her power to help make you as comfortable as possible. We had a few personal problems and she was willing to work with us when it came to renting our place. I am sad to say we had to move, it was a cute, clean place, and the Lilly was extremely helpful. this place is like no other renting company we have used, and I only wish we could have stayed in Greenville. read more

Our condo that we booked and confirmed was unavailable when we arrived at our vacation rental (I.e., it had been double booked). After more than two hours of sitting in the car on phone calls, we were placed in another location. The property was very nice but not worth the hassle that we went through. This company does not even deserve one star. They lie to you than once they get your application fee, they seem to forget what they told you. They never answer there phone you can walk out the lady is at the desk and will not pick up the phone or return your call back. DO not rent from this company read more

Worst apartment place ever. All the redneck and Jerry Springer front yard fights from all the neighbors. The managers are never there to help with maintenance issues. When we moved out we had professional cleaners clean and paint the rental and they still tried to keep the deposit, only until I threatened to take them to court and that I had pictures of apartment beforehand did they give it back. STAY AWAY or if not take pictures like I did and mail them to yourself and keep them locked away until move out time. read more

Pinnacle manages a number of rental properties that I own in Greenville. Mike, the owner, has always done an excellent job managing the properties for me. He has worked for my family for about nine years now. He is always very responsive to my calls or emails and I know he is genuinely interested in making me happy as his customer (as an owner). These apartments are dusty and old. There is mold under the sink and bugs coming through the cracks of the apartments from outside. The carpet is cheap and filthy. They are not cleaned before the next tenant is moved in. The employees in the office are extremely rude and they ignore all work orders. In addition, the employees give their friends parking passes to park in the tenants spots for class and football games. Do not consider moving into these apartments because they are terrible and not worth the price of rent. The management is terrible and I would not recommend anyone in the Greenville, NC area to move to these apartments. read more

The quality of service I received from Pinnacle Properties has been terrible. Since moving here in 2008, my apartment has flooded six (yes, you read that right) SIX times! Three in the garage which spread to the kitchen, three in the kitchen, which spread to the rest of the house. With the exception of the last time, maintenance did not do more than the minimum needed to repair, which led to more flooding, (usually when I was away for work). The last time the flooding was so bad, it spread to my neighbor's home,(we are in a duplex) and forced me to go to a motel for the night. My neighbor's management company treated him like a king, mine refused to pay for the hotel room, and acted as if the problem was my fault. The maintenance man that came this time tried his best to assist me, I was thankful for that, but the managers themselves acted like it was an inconvenience to them...and were totally unconcerned about how I was affected.Needless to say I am leaving...should not have waited so long to do so, but due to work responsibilities, moving is a major inconvenience. I would not advise anyone to rent from such an unconcerned company.I don't know why Rachel W. received better service, but the assistance I received was awful! read more
