This is my first time ever going to a Chiropractor and I very impressed. Both Dr Q and Ho are awesome and very personable. The support staff is top notch. I was seeing an improvement in mobility within two weeks. It was subtle at first, then became very obvious. The facility is well laid out and very clean. They are super flexible on scheduling. I am terrible about going in on time, but they always accommodate. Contrary to some of the reviews I have been reading, the facility is very clean. I discovered the facility via Instagram Ad, and they held up to their commitment within the ad. I chose to continue on to a three month alignment program. I did not get any pressure what so ever. As part of my "Hitting 40 - it's all about wellness and prevention", I had a consultation with Dr. Q and Dr. Ho (they're both Dr. Ho, but for differentiation's sake, "Dr. Q" is Quoc Ho and Dr. Ho is Khoa Ho). I have a colleague that referred me to this group. I had been wanting to go to a chiropractor for awhile now since my fiance's GI problems are virtually gone since going to a chiropractor recently as well as discussing wellness with a friend who is a chiropractor, but in another town. So glad to find someone with the same philosophy here in town. After my initial consultation, I found out I had two subluxations - at my neck and at the end of my spine (which totally explains my sciatica irritation down my right leg), As part of the initial consult, x-rays are included and then a follow-up appointment is made to discuss the x-ray findings and treatment plan. I am on track now for 3x a week and it will eventually taper off to 2x/wk and then 1x/wk. With insurance covering part of the cost, I am ecstatic about seeing were my progress with this group will put me a year from now. I encourage everyone to get evaluated - every trip, fall, accident can result in a subluxation and it's so important to make sure to get these addressed for your spine and overall health! It's a must do! In addition, these folks have a massage therapist (whom I haven't had the chance to try yet), they hold fitness classes Mondays and Wednesdays evenings, as well as once a month dinner presentations and other wellness and health discussions every month. I came back for a groupon massage/sauna session because I liked Jennifer the masseuse. They took a long time to get back to me to schedule a massage, so I got upgraded to a deep tissue massage. This time, I got Elena who told me there was an extra charge for deep tissue. I had to tell her I was upgraded for free. Now on to the massage. If you've never gotten a deep tissue massage before, just know that it's not really relaxing. I went into this massage really tired and hoping to get some rest and relaxation. I guess it's my fault for forgetting what a deep tissue massage is about. I got a lot of knuckles kneading up and down my back and SIDES. I told Elena to avoid my ribs on the paper because I am ticklish. I kept tensing up and flinching because she hit sensitive areas. It was really uncomfortable and she did not seem to understand why I was flinching every time she touched me. Also, I could hear noise and voices from outside the room even though there was spa music playing. It was not really relaxing. The massage was about 45 minutes long total. The sauna session after the massage was 25 minutes long. You get into a mini portable wooden sauna by yourself, close the door, and get ready to sweat like a mofo. You must bring a large towel and flip flops for this part. You will sweat a LOT and it will feel amazing. I will probably give Elena one more chance with a Swedish massage without deep tissue and tell her firmly to stop rubbing the sides of my ribs. I'll be back because I really like the sauna session after a massage. read more

Don't expect a luxury spa setting. For the price it's worth it. $39 for a Swedish massage. Came In during my lunch hour. Overall massage was good, I have had better but it got the job done. I certainly can't give it 5 stars just for the set up. Room didn't feel warm and inviting simply dark and spa music playing. The LMT was nice and pressure was great. "You have a hard time letting things go, don't you?".... That was the last thing my "masseuse" asked me when I left Pinnacle Wellness. Answer: Yes. When you pay for and expect services that end up being a terrible experience. I am not sure what the point of having customers explain their pain/problem areas if it is just going to be blatantly ignored by the service provider (I'm still having a hard time calling her a masseuse). I went in with reasonable expectations of stress and pain relief, and left feeling more in knots than before. I had explained to my provider that my lower back and shoulders were my main sources of pain and tension, and my feet are very ticklish, so to please avoid them. She said OK and at the time I had no reason to believe she was hard of hearing. I assumed this - second mistake I made (first being opting to go here in the first place). She spent the majority of the FIFTY minutes (not a whole hour) lightly rubbing my body, pushing lightly and awkwardly in various areas, not being symmetrical in her "massage"....if you couldn't tell, I'm loving quotation marks at the moment. She FINALLY hit a major problem area starting at my mid back, and I asked her if she minded spending a little time there as I felt some relief (finally). She stopped, uncomfortably let her breath out, and retorted "well, I have to loosen you up in other areas before you feel relief there, but I can tell you're tense bc I feel lumps."....LUMPS?!? In my back? Have I been Quasi-Moto-ing it up and no ones been telling me? Needless to say, I'm pretty sure my husband would have mentioned if he noticed lumps forming on my back.... She then continued lightly rubbing my back (not massaging) and then guess what, she went on to my feet. Yes, the feet that I had explained were very ticklish. She didn't exactly tickle me, so I'll give her that, but she awkwardly touched and tapped each toe as if this was releasing my Pandora's box of tension. Another 12 minutes wasted there, and you better believe I was keeping track of time. She finished off by, again, awkwardly manipulating my neck as if she had happened to walk by the chiropractors and though she could incorporate elements of that into her "relaxation massage." No. Just stop. Now. Siiiigh. This place is giving their services away for free via Living Social and Amazon deals for a reason: they're desperate. Bottom line: spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere where you can freely provide insight into your own body's needs and expect them to listen and care. read more

Though i didnt get a massage myself, I bought one for my bf coming back from overseas. The lady, whose name i forget just now, that did the massage was very good. She knew how to get deep and hit the sweet spot of knots without leaving sore spots or a lot of aching the next day (there will be Some aches if you get true deep tissue, but she executed the job perfectly with muscle strength NOT weight to get deep). They even gave a discount coupon to come back for a chiropractic adjustment. If you can please a sore and stiff soldier fresh from afghan you're all good in my book. :D read more

Today, I had my first deep tissue massage with Jennafer Salinas. I have to say that I am EXTREMELY happy with my experience. The facility is clean while the staff is friendly and welcoming. One thing that I LOVE is that this is a WELLNESS clinic meaning there are a variety of options from laser, massage, and chiropractic appointments. As a busy working adult, I can apperciate that this is a "one stop shop" where I can get everything taken care of. Lastly, I adore the decor with positive messages written all over the walls. I have been going to Pinnacle Wellness three days a week and have been there for two weeks now. My headaches have gone away after the third visit and I feel like my self again. I love it there as the office staff is super friendly and welcoming and the music they play during my session is positive and upbeat. The doctors are incredible at pinpointing areas of my body that need adjusting. I don't hurt anymore but will continue to go for maintenance and until I can get my natural curve back in my neck. I bought an exam, X-ray and adjustment package from Groupon. First, this is a two step process. You go for one appointment to have an exam and X-rays done and another for the actual adjustment. I scheduled my appointment but didn't get a call to confirm so I tried calling. I got no answer all morning and no return call. I went to the office at this time I thought my appointment was scheduled for and found out they had completely failed to schedule me! So then they offer for me to come the following week or several hours later that day (how do I know they have that appointment when I go back?). I ask if there's any way I can get the adjustment on the same day due to the delay and inconvenience and they won't. I am not confident in this business professionalism or competency in booking my appointment so I am certainly not going to have my spine manipulated by them! read more

Went for my 2d trip today. Very thorough radiographic examination and findings. The first part was a very well presented sales pitch to get you to buy in on the program. Spending years in sales, both tangible and intangible, I knew right away. I was presented with the sales bill. This is a very nominally priced program for what you pay. I have occasional episodes of low back pain and have found that a series of chiropractic adjustments usually helps. As luck would have it, I was experiencing low back pain at the same time that Amazon Local had a "deal" for Pinnacle Wellness -- three adjustments and a massage for a really attractive price. How could I go wrong? After buying the deal and calling to schedule an appointment, I found that I couldn't schedule the adjustments until a week later and the first massage opening was a couple of weeks away. That was longer than most chiropractors but I was kind of stuck, so OK. When I finally saw the doctor he asked why I was there. When I told him because of low back pain he informed me that although a lot of chiropractors treat pain, they don't at Pinnacle Wellness. As it was explained further the next day, their focus is on well being. The analogy they use is that you don't brush your teeth to cure a cavity - you brush your teeth to prevent cavities. And you should have your spine adjusted regularly to help make sure that you feel your best and avoid future issues, just like brushing your teeth. This means that you need regular adjustments over a long period of time. So they only offer a one year package for $3,600. Since I was looking for pain relief over a shorter period of time and that was way more than I wanted to pay, I declined to sign up. As I found, there is a reason that it is called Pinnacle Wellness rather than Pinnacle Chiropractic. I'm sure that there is a place for both kinds of businesses but choose the one that matches your needs. Had I done a little more research, I would have selected a more traditional chiropractor as that is what I need. read more

I used to have a preconceived notion that all chiropractors worked on injuries as a result from car accidents. After suffering from lower back pain due to a stressful 10-12 job where I sat down and worked on a computer all day with little movement I looked into alternative medicine. I was surprised that my health insurance covered enough adjustments for an entire year and have been going religiously. After three months of weekly adjustments my spine was improving significantly. I went in with neck pain, stiffness, lower back pain, pinching in my ribs, hip pains and trouble sleeping. Got the exam done, got my X-rays, sat down and talked to Dr. Ho and went over my X-ray. I couldnt believe what he was showing me. My whole spine was tilted off axis and I was leaning to one-side. My entire skeletal structure was veering off and it showed me why so many things were going wrong. Got on the program for treatment and followed as instructed per week. Had a few hiccups in my schedule and missed a week here and there due to work. Fast forward 4 months later and I finished my program, I almost came fully back in alignment. when I filled out my progress report I didn't mention of few of my initial symptoms because I had forget I ever started off as bad as I was. They showed X-rays again with my updates and the results were incredible. I went from 7 restricted vertebral movements to 1 in such little time. I cant express how great I feel compared to when I got started. Highly recommend and thoroughly enjoy my time spent at the Pinnacle Wellness facility. I purchased 2 massages as a Groupon and buying this has caused me more stress than it's worth. First of all, their hours of operation are terrible; Monday-Thurs only, so if you have a full time job you will have a hard time getting a decent appointment after work. I made a noon appointment hoping i could go during my lunch hour, but found the situation too stressful which is the opposite of what I'm trying to do. So, I called to cancel and would reschedule when I could. They said it was fine and cancelled my appointment. Little did I know that they mark your Groupon as redeemed if you give less than 24 hours notice (I called at 3:45 the previous day, so they had 20 hours notice). Isabelle did not explain the consequence as I was cancelling the appointment. Needless to say I would not have cancelled. They offer no apologies for not making their policies clear. She should have told me, but because she didn't I'm out 1 massage. And by the way, I won't be going for that 2nd one. My parents have been coming to Pinnacle Wellness close to two years now. After hearing so much positive feedback I started to join them at Pinnacle Wellness for their evening workouts. This was about 8 months after my back surgery. I was scarred to do any type of exercising after surgery because I was finally free of chronic pain. I have been coming here now for over a year for the workouts and have made major improvements in regard to strengthening my back and overall body. I was a little nervous when it came to being adjusted because of my back fusion but after reviewing my x-rays with Dr. Ho I feel 100% positive that the plan we have set in place is going help me be proactive in staying healthy and keeping my back aligned. This place is a welcoming place to walk into. The staff and doctors are so pleasant always greeting their patients with hugs and smiles. As far as the adjustments and visits goes, I wish I knew about chiropractors earlier. I started believing in getting adjusted often ever since I got into a car accident several years ago and my neck was in pain ever since. Fortunately, ever since I got adjusted by the doctors from pinnacle wellness, my neck was as good as new! Not to mention i noticed that the adjustments helps to relax and align my body bc I do a lot of working out with a mixture of cardio and lifting weights. Im also on my feet all day in the pharmacy working so my spine needs to get adjusted to help my posture to prevent from having the rounded back as I get older. I cannot recommend enough of this place for the friendly staff and doctors as well as their service! As far as the loud crossfit gym next door that seems to be one of the complaint below, I just wanted to update that that gym is no longer there so the area is peaceful to step foot into. If I could put 0 Star, I would! I walked in there today excited because I finally decided to use this 60 minute massage with infrared sauna that my son gave me as a gift. I walked in happy and I walked out in so much pain and by the time I got to my car I was vomiting from migraine headache. I paid extra for a deep tissue massage but this lady who who gave me the massage used her elbows on my neck! I am still so much in pain since I had my neck elbowed by the massager and if it doesn't go away I will have to go to the ER just to make sure she didn't damage any nerves or arteries! read more

It is almost impossible to reach anyone by phone and when you do there is confusion as to the policies and actual services; not to mention the fact that I waited at the front desk for a good while before being greeted and given directions for my first visit.
