My experience from the initial contact to get a quote and consultation in person in 2019 was very positive. I felt they care about the customers and I also like to support small family business. So I went with them for the move. The move itself was not great. I realized the movers did not pay attention to the labels I put on my boxes and stuff. So they even took my garbage bag which I put in a corner for any last minute things to clear away. Luckily I discovered that early on so we got that bag out of the truck easily. My printer is still not working and I am not sure if it is spoilt due to the move (the box was labeled fragile and printer). They took away my ottoman for donation despite me saying I wanted my ottoman but not the sofa. This was the part which I thought they were kind. To help donate my sofa and clothings and shoes to the hospital as they told me the hospital needed them. At my new place I noticed my under bed drawer was broken. I told them and the first question was, maybe it was broken in the first place. That was just wow! Trying to shift the blame. I said I saw the guys dismantle my bed so I would have known. Plus they did not put my mattress in the mattress bag which I bought till later. So my mattress was on the floor leaning against the wall while they dismantled the bed. They also tore the mattress bag apart at the new place. So the bag cannot be reused. Back to the broken drawer. I should have taken up his offer of a $50 discount then. But I really needed my under bed drawer for my linens as my new place was tiny with limited storage space. Then he said he can repair it. I thought it will just take at most a week to fix it. So I said please fix the drawer. That 1 week became over a year now. There were some correspondence on the progress. Then zilch. I have given up now. I have no more confidence in them. And they kept texting me their promo and to recommend them to others or for my next move. I had replied about this before and after 1 update, it was radio silence. So I am still drawer less. My linens are living in a big plastic bag in my laundry basket. All because they have destroyed it and with no reparation at all. I gave it two stars because of their kindheartedness to help donate apparels to the hospital. I think if all went well, this will be an excellent company. Just unfortunate they are not great at customer service when things go south. I did not review earlier as I wanted to see if they will repair my under bed drawer and giving them more time due to covid. But when I still receive text message earlier this year on their promotion etc, I just felt like my issue was swept under the carpet.

After having researched many movers in the Vancouver area, we reached out to BungoBox. One of their friendly professionals immediately reached out and walked us through all of the details - with no pressure to commit. We valued their advice greatly as we have never had to book movers before, let alone from a such a long distance away. One thing we highly recommend, is to add-on BungoBox's rental containers. For us it was a set of 23 large, 2 extra large, and one dolly - along with some extra wrapping paper and a mattress protector. These items were indispensable and made packing, and moving, a breeze. As arranged, they were delivered early in the day, two days prior to the move. Move day couldn't have been more relaxed! The BungoBox team of two arrived right on time, wrapped all the furniture in blankets, and ensured everything was secured inside the truck. I will admit, I was anxious about where they would park as the two buildings did not have loading areas and the receiving end was located in a very busy part of the university. The lead mover reassured me that this was not a concern, they deal with this all the time. Sure enough, they arrived at the new apartment, parked the moving truck like the pros they are, and delivered all of our child's belongs without a single scratch! The moving containers were a 7 day rental, so we took some time over the next day or two unpacking, then simply let BungoBox know and the boxes were quickly picked up again. We are happy to say that we would not hesitate in recommending BungoBox to anyone moving in and around Vancouver. Their service is friendly and very professional. This was the first time I used a moving service and also rented reusable boxes. The whole move was…read morea breeze (as much as any move can be) from start to finish. This was a very last-minute move but they were able to schedule us in quickly, were super responsive, and very accommodating of our schedules. The boxes were absolutely a godsend. We had bungobox movers do the bulk of the move but we continued to use and re-use the boxes afterwards to cart the rest of our junk over bit by bit. They loaded into the car easier than standard boxes, the cart that comes with them makes them very easy to roll around even fully packed with heavy items, they stood up to a lot more punishment than cardboard ever would, and they were generally just easier to pick up and move around because of the handles and lids. Of course being environmentally friendly is a huge bonus as well. As for the move itself, I can honestly say I'd never do it myself ever again. The movers were on time, professional, friendly, and SO FAST. They're definitely pros. They took great care to wrap and/or tape up all my furniture and even my many awkward glass-top tables. I don't think a single item was damaged or broken. If I could give bungobox more stars I would.
