Came back yest on a busy sat after many yrs. They have expanded with a very organized and clean set- up inside. Lots of Pinoy goods . More importantly- the staff esp. the owner Inciong is very friendly and accommodating. He personally serves the freshly made halo- halo- I ordered the ube special with ube icecream on top !! I just moved to the area recently and was worried I wouldn't be able to get any Filipino food products but this store really has a lot of things I enjoy. Was able to buy seasoning for caldareta, get some longanisa, and other goodies. Really grateful and happy they have all the instant noodles and ingredients I need so close. I love this place! Filipinos are like unicorns in Boston. They're rare so I get really excited when I meet fellow Filipinos. Even rarer are Filipino restaurants and stores. Imagine the joy I felt when I found this gem! When I lived in SF, there were Filipino stores all over the Bay Area which I sadly took for granted because now that I live in Boston, they're super rare. This place is clean and organized. The staff are sooooo friendly! I feel like I'm just visiting an aunt or cousin's store. They have offered coffee while I shopped which I think is a nice touch and shows that they care about their customers. My toddler always goes with me to shop in their store and they are always so sweet to her. They even give her this snack called "Yanyan" which are pretzels that you dip in a chocolate sauce (No, the Nutella pretzel dippers you see at Target are not the original!). I grew up devouring Yanyans so it's really nice to give that same treat to my daughter. They have all sorts of Filipino snacks that I enjoyed growing up. They also have my favorite brand of Filipino ice cream called Magnolia. If you want your mind blown, go to their ice cream section, look for this ice cream and pick Ube Macapuno (ube is similar to purple yam but WAYYYYYYY better and macapuno is Tagalog for baby coconut). They also have the corn and cheese flavor of ice cream (if you like sweet and salty, trust me this flavor is legit). The store also carries my favorite sausage from Ilocos called Vigan Sausage (no, it's not vegan. Vigan is the place). It's garlicky, salty and spicy. They have all the Filipino spices and ingredients that you will need to make traditional Pinoy dishes. They sometimes have pre-cooked Filipino meals, like pancit palabok which is noodles in shrimp sauce and I bought a couple containers and it tasted really good. They also carry parols (Filipino Christmas lantern) and they're the real deal, made of capiz shells. I love that this store allows me to bring up my daughter the way I was brought up. I'm definitely a "suki" (regular customer) here. read more

We're from out of town and happened to find this gem. Love how big and clean it is. Bought some food from the ladies selling home made goods. My husband loved the siopao. We also enjoyed the avocado and ube ice cream scoops from the back section. I only wish we had a store like this closer to us in New Haven, CT! read more

Look at the expiration dates of the items you buy from here.. Their items are pricier as well but can't blame them since they have no competition and is the only Filipino store in this area. read more

They have expanded their store since opening and I have been coming here ever since they opened with their great selection of food, reasonable prices, and they accept EBT. Moving from SoCal, I missed my comfort filipino food. My husband and I found this place in November 2015 randomly on a drive around the area. Since then we come back every 3 weeks to load up on tocino, longonisa, empanada, bangus, lumpia, sweet and sour sauce. Each visit I find something new I need to grab at my next visit (pan de ube, shrimp chips, rice noodles for pancit, calamansi juice, mang tomas). The owners are always friendly and welcoming. The nicest people ever! Acommodating, warm, helpful, and justvall-around hospitable. They even have freshly brewed tea and coffee for their customers. How awesome is that! In addition to dropping off a repatriate box, I couldn't resist buying goodies that I remember from decades ago: different types of sausage (longanisa), college dorm (but much better) noodles, fish and shrimp crackers, champorado (which I wouldn't even dare make), and even soap (Heno de Pravia). Oh yeah, before I forget, there was a 10% discount on all the goodies. What a pleasant treat! I think of a discount as a "hook-up" and I am always hungry for one. Check out this place. Did not know a Filipinio store could exist here! The selection here is quite limited compard to what I am used to- - I'm from the bay area, so I'm used to certain bakeries and a plethora of choices for tocino, longanisa, pan de sal etc. Still, they had my Jufran banana ketchup which I used to hand carry all the way from the the Bay, so that made me happy. They don't carry Goldilocks which is my favorite Filipino bakery, but they do carry Red Ribbon, which is ok- - just not what I'm used to. In any case, it was still comforting to walk down the short aisles and see some familiar foods that my Lola (grandma) makes. read more

I have had a few Filipino friends for 25 years, but now with a Filipina girlfriend, My Filipino friends have increased by about 50. I like Filipino food, but sadly am allergic to MSG. Pinoy Republic does sell food that does not have MSG in it. Not everything in the whole store, but enough to where I can enjoy a Filipino meal once in a while. read more
