very nice employees, mediocre food I tried this place after grabbing a fan at Savers next door. I ordered enough food--i THOUGHT--for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. First of all, everything seemed to be 75% of the normal size...the portions were SMALL for all three items I purchase: Tofu Bahn Mi, Pork Chop dinner, and spring rolls. Tofu Bahn Me: I ordered TOFU and they gave me shrimp. I was already halfway back home to Worcester when I took a bite so I could not return for my correct order. I like shrimp but I do not like it in my bahn me and I ALWAYS get tofu or chicken, never shrimp so I know I didn't order it by mistake. I asked for light pate and eVERYthing was light...carely any fillings and the bread was small. It reminded me of when you go to Subway and they have you like one or two pieces of everything and you have to practically begt for more toppins lol The pate texture and the tough shrimp texture just did not mix. I only ate two bites and tossed it, unfortunately. The đồ chua--julienned (matchstick) carrots and daikon--were 99% carrots which sucks as I like the taste/crunch of daikon. Pork Chops: $17.95 for SUPER thin pieces with bone-in so there was hardly any meat at all. It was not well flavored either. And I never thought I would say this about an Asian restaurant but they only gave me like a 1/2 cup of rice! For $17.95?!?!?! Geeeeesh. Again, the đồ chua-was mostly unflavored carrots. Spring Rolls: I forgot to see if I was charged for an extra peanut butter sauce but if I did, I am mad because the containers were very small...as were the spring rolls. I would use the follow words to describe my meal that was $45! (I tipped 15%): ** shrinkflation-portions were SMALL ** overpriced ** lacking flavor I love Vietnamese food but I definitely won't be returning :-( p.s. it took a LONG time. They offered "cold" water and hot tea. The water was in a huge glass container with zero ice and was warm and tasted stale. read more

Warm and friendly service. The food is prepared with love. I've gotten banh mi to go a couple times but look forward to dining in at some point. They have water and condiments available to grab. Side note, the tiger boba is really cool looking, but I found it lacked flavor. read more

Very nice ambiance inside, pleasant place to chill and enjoy your food. Tai tea was delicious as was the beef pho, and if you like your beef cooked you can ask and the will cook it a bit for you. Service was amazing, they offer a complementary salad while you wait and service was very fast, friendly and efficient. An Nam's food is amazing. My mother and I dined here for lunch and enjoyed the garlic noodles with shrimp and the pho with chicken. Everything tasted fresh and the servings are generous. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The ambiance is warm and contemporary, and I enjoyed the TV with constant images of the beautiful Vietnamese landscapes. After over eight years later, I'm glad An Nam is still around. I have not been back since, but have heard colleagues mention their special Tuesday menu or their pho or their rice plates. My wife tried their pho and was content with the price and portion, and so I decided to try the place out. The place must've expanded, as I don't remember it being this large. I ordered the not-cheap Dat Biet, and it arrived quickly. The meat and noodles were plentiful and the broth was aromatic and hot. However, the tendon was very tough and the tripe was rather chewy. I know the staff can boil that tendon for a little longer in the mornings so that it comes out soft and melty, but this unfortunately wasn't the case. The staff is nice, and the place is very clean, and I hope the owner / cooks will take my recommendation into consideration. read more

I have been coming here since they arrived in Marlborough, the food has remained consistent and delicious. Their service has always been very welcoming and fast!! I got the Pork Garlic Noodles and I loved them. Didn't have broth but it doesn't really matter because it was delicious. Food was delivered to us in store (got take-out) very quickly and cashier seemed very nice. I also really liked the decor of the front, along with the music that was playing. Something odd about eating in, not which isn't an issue, is that they do not have a garbage and you are instructed (via paper) to leave the remnants of your meal on your table. read more

I was in Marlborough for work and asked my friend who lived here his favorite place that I can go to get some food. Anyways that place wasn't open so I asked him for a different restaurant and he told me to come here. Holy smokes, you might want to call Jimmy because this place is absolutely great. I walked in and the guy at the register who was maybe the owner was talking to his plumber to fix a leak in his house but he dropped it to give me some food recommendations. The only thing that could make this customer service better is if they had free----*spits water from mouth* HOLY SMOKESx2 THEY HAVE FREE WATER THAT WAS NOT SPIT FROM THE MOUTH OF A PATRON. Vibes were off the charts, a little confusing had that modern, corporate feeling that most fast food places have now but it felt a little more personal. Like the intern pitched it to the corporate exec instead, very relatable international vibes. Food was great. I got the katsu garlic noodles as I was advised and the katsu chicken was addictive. The softboiled egg was also full of egg flavor like a kinder egg with egg yolk instead of chocolate. The garlic noodles in comparison were not as impressive but were still a nice base for the meal. We ordered two bbq pork Bon Mei sandwiches today for take out. I'm sorry to say but these were probably the worst Bon Mei sandwiches we have ever had. The pork was like shoe leather. Hi I want to talk about my experience at An Nam 7/17. I came in with friends. I would say it was busy time and the food was good. My bad experience was seeing and hearing the manager screaming at there employee. No customer should hear any manager yelling at employees. I strongly believe there is a time and place to address what-ever situation happens in the store. My friends and I were confused on why the manager would yell at employees like we witness. read more

I've been here a couple times as well as some of my coworkers. We work near the Apex center and have several Vietnamese people in our department. I'm filipino and have similar taste but was excited to try recommended dishes from my Vietnamese coworkers. I took my department here as a nice lunch treat and they all loved it. We ordered a lot of food, so the manager/owner ended up applying some promos for us so the bill was not too high. It was a really nice gesture, and just shows great customer service. I got the pork chop plate and it was amazing. Also highly recommend their Boba tea. It is very refreshing. Food came out really fast, even though our waiter was new (he said he was new and was apologizing but he did great!). Will come back.
