This small store is a nice discovery. It's not a massive selection, like that of the Asian warehouse stores, but its offerings are some of the best. They carry preferred premium brands, and yes, it's pricier, but weigh that against gas, time, and hassle. It seems to be mainly a Japanese market, but Thai is well represented, with some Chinese and Korean products. Their fresh mushroom selection is impeccable. If she wants to be my personal shopper while I'm in the store, who am I to stop her?. So she took my list and led me around the store. They didn't have a few of the things on the list, one of which was yellow bean sauce, but she actually called her sister (must be a family-run store) to ask if she knew if they carried that product. They don't, unfortunately, but A+ for going above and beyond my customer service expectations. Yesterday's visit was such an awkward yet pleasant experience.
