But you'd think they would try to offer something on their menu that didn't come from a frozen box. The bowling lanes are fine - they block every now and then and the gutters play up- but they work and are reasonably priced. They have a jukebox that plays the videos above the lanes - which is great if you like Ariana Grande dancing across your tenpins while you're trying to land a strike. The carpet glows in the dark which makes for easy fun with the kids if you're waiting. Which brings me to the main problem. The wait. We showed up on an easy going Thursday night around 7pm to be told a lane wouldn't be ready until 10pm for our group. Understandably we needed 2 lanes, but even when we dropped the numbers for one lane- we were advised "we should have booked ahead". Moral of the story - don't do drop bys here, they're 'popular' and probably wont be able to accommodate your spontaneity. We went across the road to Paradice Ice Skating instead.

The bar also does good deals on drinks and a Happy Hour- they even bring them to your bowling lane! They also have a selection of snacks you can order for the kids or to accompany that drinks of yours. I can't wait for this place to re-open looking bigger and even better. Jacquie answered all our questions, assisted us in drawing a stage after the one we had originally requested was too big for the room. She managed to set up the hall using diagrams and worked closely with the lightning and stage crew to make sure that everything was working from the sound system to the lights. Jacquie went out of her way to ensure that everything we asked was there and because it was christmas, we even had fairy lights around the room and a christmas tree at the front.

I liked how they incorporated pinball, planko, pool, and ball maze into the games, instead of just got traditional putt putt course. And the directions before each hole was cool. Holes are short, so you'll knock out 18 in about 40 minutes.

As a second time visitor and this time taking it in my stride to venture over on my own with the kiddies; I was happily entertained by the kids aged two to eleven( a fantastic note to self that there is something for all ages here). There are special tables you can hire out for a birthday party, this particular party was catered for by the family in charge, and the kids had a ball! After an hour or so of jumping on inflated castles and running through courses with slides and tunnels the kids gathered for a sit down lunch before running back to enjoy Inflatable world once they had got a bit of food. Not only is this place fantastic for parties but during the first week of school holidays i had three under twelve year olds, and this was my turn to for a bit of fun! The weather may not be so hot outdoors, but at Inflatable its fun and feels sunny! Even in winter you can keep the chills away by sitting under heaters on the chairs provided. A lifesaver for parents and caregivers the kids love it, and you end the visit with very tired ad thrilled kids, who always want to return. The car park is onsite, however gotta be lucky when its busy as they do fill up quick.

It has the most popular games from Tekken to Dance Dance Revolution and, more importantly, a couple of pinball machines. A selection of the games pump out Timezone's classic coupons which can be exchanged for small prizes or sweets. There is even a pool table and, thankfully, air-conditioning (which any arcade player knows the importance of). You might have to yell out to get the staff's attention but they have weekly specials which will save you a little bit of money while you waste time. The downside is that you have to buy and use Powercards instead of using up petty coins in your wallet. But you can always sneak away downstairs for a few minutes while your more mature friends look for you in Burger King.

This was really great considering I haven't received this kind of service at other mini golf places around Auckland. We really enjoyed the variety of holes. Sounds weird I know but Enchanted Forest Mini Golf seriously has two of the coolest holes we have ever seen! The first one you have to hit your golf ball through chains - it sounds harder than you think! The second hole was unique for sure. The hole is completely surrounded by netting. The aim is to hit your ball as hard as you can (it sits on a raised platform), and if possible, hit the bullseye up top, ultimately to get a 'hole in one'. Again, it is harder than you think, but it is loads of fun! Plus, all the kids around us really enjoyed it! Another highlight is that the space around the mini golf course is very large! There is a shop where you purchase your tickets and other things like cold drinks and ice creams. There are also plenty of tables and chairs, plus you can use their BBQ's located onsite (free to use if you play one round of mini golf). This would be perfect for a birthday party or family gathering. An added bonus is that there is a Countdown right next door - easy to stock up on food beforehand! I guess the only negative would be that it is a little rough around the edges but it definitely feels like you're in a forest (or bush!). Interesting fact - the space used to be a park, and instead of removing everything, they have kept all the original trees and plants which is nice to see - we even saw a Kauri tree! Overall, Enchanted Forest Mini Golf is the best I have tried in Auckland so far. The added bonuses (unique 'net' hole, BBQ's, supermarket next door and location) really make this mini golf worth going to, not just to play a few games, but also to get a group of family and friends along and have a BBQ lunch or dinner afterwards!

What I like the most about the driving range is that you can go at your own pace and there's no one waiting in line. It's a great group activity or if you're flying solo, a great stress reliever. The guys at JK's are really helpful and knowledgeable, so you're in good hands 24/7.

He had season tickets by the tunnel, right in the thick of the action, back when the Blues used to win.... Ol' Eden Park has come a long way since then. Post World Cup refurb, it's now a world class stadium that holds up to 50,000 people and has seen new events brought to Auckland, such as the Auckland Nines. I would argue that it's now the best stadium in NZ, but I may be biased.
