I came here once before last weekend and I LOVED it! But tonight totally changed my mind. The drinks weren't the same (granted, they can change depending on the bartender and what they have available) but upstairs on the porch, a small blonde yelled at everyone to GET OUT while pointing at the elevator and stairs, literally not even 10 seconds after a different employee came upstairs to say the bar is closed and they're closing. The blonde girl was way too aggressive with it. Maybe she had a bad day but she could've been more professional about it. People were so upset about it, people took their drinks and walked outside with them. I'm outside and still watching people take their beers out. And they were all on the second floor. read more

Being a fan of duck pin bowling, it is nice to see a more modern and clean facility to play the game. The shorter lanes appealed to us oldies too and would work well with the grandkids too! I also love pinball, reminiscent of my college days, so got a bang on of playing a few of those. There is also bocce, ping pong, beer pong with trash cans that looked fun. Lots of people carried in food and looked like several birthdays happening. We headed up to the rooftop bar which does not have a view but is cozy and has fire pits. Tm a tour of the hotel and food hall after. What a great addition to downtown and fun seeing the renovations to my former volunteer spot called Operation School Bell. read more

This is a really fun place to hang out with a few friends or a big group! So many fun games that you can play with one other person or many. I love that they have such a massive beer selection on tap. My favorite is the Rhinegeist press tart right now because I like sours. The games are reasonably priced as well. read more

For the big kids at heart!! By far one of our favorite places to go now. We came here for date night and we couldn't have picked a better place. Duck Pin bowling was so much fun and like always my partner and i got competitive lol we played several rounds of duck pin and for the price why not. While we waited we were able to get drinks and their drink options are awesome! They have beer and mix cocktails to pick from. They always have pin ball machines, oversized connect 4 and Jenga. Can't wait to visit here again!!! It was fun to see the vibe change throughout the night! There are plenty of things to do from the bowling to the giant connect 4 or Jenga. The drink specials were nice and everyone seemed to be having a good time. If just relaxing and socializing is more your speed, the 2nd floor patio gives off a rooftop lounge vibe and there are fire pits and couches. Amazing space reminiscent of Punchbowl social but much larger and more modern with upstairs patio. Just opened so they are still figuring out staffing. Didn't stay long but the upstairs went from 2 patrons to 50 in about 30 minutes and the 1 server for the entire upstairs seemed to be a bit swamped. Still for the space and patio view on a sunny day it was glorious. Strong beverage selection and although they don't have food now you can bring in food from the adjacent garage vendors. read more

You can spend hours at this bar, easily. They have every game imaginable from duck pin bowling, to boce ball, to pinball, and ping pong. We enjoyed a pitcher of their delicious punch on the rooftop bar on a beautiful, sunny day. Then, we went downstairs and played an hour of boce ball for $10 while enjoying beer and mixed drinks. While we played boce ball, waiters came by to check our drinks several times, which was so nice because we could just keep playing and not have to send someone to the bar to order. This place was great. Bowling was $6 per game per person. You don't need to rent shoes. If you got on a weekend be prepared to wait at least 2 hours to get in. We went on a Saturday night and prepared ourselves for the wait. The drinks were amazing but the bar was crazy. Hosted a party 10/21/22 at Pin's Mechanical and it was a great time. Everyone was given a wristband for easy accounting of beverages and we had two lanes of bowling to ourselves. They also gave us a small seating area to congregate in. Other than a bar minimum tab (easily hit) there was no additional cost. The staff was wonderful and the set up easy. We had a lot of guests from out of town and they were all impressed and more importantly, had a wonderful time! This is the cool spot in Indy. I'm from Seattle and I've been to all 50 states, but never had I experienced duck pin bowling. So fun! (A little fast paced for only two people though). That's busy? Try Jenga, the pinball machines, bocce ball or lounge on the couch to watch TV. You can do the same upstairs. They have some free ring toss game up there. You can tell they put a lot of love into the interior/exterior. Fire nation. So cool to see such an inclusive, fun space for all ages. In Seattle, we would have bowling and pool at most in one location. This place is jam packed with activities. Love how Hot Pockets is the only food they serve. This place is fun but the 2 girls that work in the front taking names for duckpin bowling are extremely rude and had nasty awful attitudes. The taller girl also asked for $100 if we wanted to be bumped up in line to go sooner. We declined and waited a couple of hours to bowl. Our friends also had the same situation happen. A little disappointed with the upkeep on the pinball machines. The AC/DC machine has a bum right flipper, the TMNT machines top left flipper is gets stuck in the extended position. The LoTR machine looks sick and I bet when it's working correctly it would be super fun, unfortunately the machine was constantly searching for the ball and after having only playing 1 of my 3 balls per credit the game never found the ball again. Interesting enough the change machine seemingly ripped me off by .75 since the machines are all $1 a play after using a couple $5's and making change for around $25 worth at the end of my session I was left with an extra quarter which may have just been a bonus quarter, who knows. Despite all the negatives (I would say all the issues described above these machines should be shutdown until fixed since these are HUGE detriments to the quality of play) Jackbot is a super fun game but even it has a bum bumper above the right flipper (but I would not say that impacts gameplay in a major way). Elvira machine is fun, Godzilla might be one of the most fun machines I've ever played, and the Nightmare on Elm Street machine is also super cool with the mini Krueger head that spits the ball out and the "claw save" that uses an extra button on the right hand side to bring up blades to block the ball from going straight down the center. read more

Pins is a good spot: it's fun and has good drinks. However, there's way too many kids there on the weekends. The upstairs at least should be an adults only area. Yesterday, some little kid upstairs began having a tantrum because adults were playing beer pong and she wanted to play. She began screaming at them at the top of her lungs. The whole bar got quiet. She didn't even know them. Who wants to be around that when they're trying to have a good time and talk to their friends? Leave the kids downstairs in the bowling area, or better yet, don't allow them at all. read more

No one was playing the large beer pong upstairs, so we checked into that. Also a wait. Waitlist for bocce ball as well. Pinball and foosball require cash. Had the worst experience here that i've ever had in my whole life. Was bowling with friends and family and went up to the bar and got a few drinks and tipped the bar tender. Went back just a few minutes later and got a few shots and didn't tip, since I just had. When one of my friends went back and got 2 glasses of water the bartender was so disgusting to her. Here is what he said to her "tell your friend to not come back to the bar or i'll f**king hit him. i don't know why people think it's ok to order something and not tip." then he slammed the glasses down and one of them broke. instead of making sure there was no glass in the cup he just poured the water into another cup. He was at the main bar and had curly hair and a man bun. Then he followed us out of the bar. Completely disgusting and weird behavior!!!!! Gross and will never ever have my business. This place is SO cute and super modern and trendy. Definitely a photo opp that will last forever! The vibes are fun, the music is good, and the drinks are affordable. Unfortunately, the service is awful. The place is SUPER busy, so I understand the slowness of the staff and do not mind to wait at the bar for drinks.... On the other hand, we sat at a table from about 8:30pm to 12am and never once hand a busser come take our empty food containers, cups, pitchers, etc. people from our party took all of our empty cups and pitchers to the bar when ordering more drinks, basically cleaning up ourselves. I wish they hired more bussers and just held a cleaner environment over-all. No one was around to wipe off the tables or chairs between guests... or ever. This is bare minimum service in any place, even before covid. I love that they use real glasses and pitches; but they are always "out" because of it and all the dirty dishes are sitting on tables nearby....
