He installed a new fiberglass front door for us and it was done perfectly which was a big upgrade for our house as we had an older steel door for years. He then replaced our front facing dining room window with three Harvey windows that just looks perfect for your house. He and his crew then replaced our peeling and cracking side trim boards for each side of our house with PVC trim and those pieces go up about 25 feet. A few years later, we asked for quote to replace our aging wooden windows from 1994 and he again replaced them all with new Harvey windows which look great. He worked closely with us to ensure we got what we were looking for and he really delivered. Finally, we asked Gino to replace our aging and flaking Masonite front siding on our split ranch. He suggested using Everlast which is thick and you can re-paint down the road if you choose to. Weird but fine, if the text etiquette is on point. His was a mess. He asks me to take pictures inside and out, of the windows. Ok sure, but I'm one town over and you could just pop by. He asks what I want, I say picture windows. He sends me a picture of double hang and says he recommends them. Don't need them. Then he just TEXTS me a price range. Red flag. Where's your quote with the type of door being used? Also, the number is high. I ask for the SKU to look it up on my own. He sends me a generic link to an affiliate landing page for DOUBLE HUNG DOORS. Ok, so here's where you have to use your best judgement. These guys have great ratings on multiple pages, so they obviously do excellent installs. But that doesn't mean they aren't ripping people off, because you can get similar work done for MUCH cheaper. That's where I got him, bc he wasn't willing to disclose where his range was coming from and then immediately tried to pass me off to Renweal by Anderson, which is widely known as THE biggest price-hike in the game. The safe bet with them is whatever they quote you initially is about double what it should actually cost. So it makes sense the owner thought it's a reasonable peer in the industry. Then he weirdly started text-harassing me when I passed on his offer. Piss off.
