Our holiday party was complete letdown from beginning till end. 1. When we first arrived, no host greeted us at all (As it stated in my contract) 2. Our buffet was not set-up 3. We had to hunt down our waiter to take our drink order 4. Service was extremely slow when we did finally get a waiter 5. Once the waiter arrived, he took everyone's drink order and completely ignored one of our employees. 6. Nobody at all came to take any dirty dishes or cups aways to clear room on our table 7. Each employee had to take their empty plates to an outside table in your restaurant to clear our table Service was completely unprofessional, careless, and slow all around. Last year service was extremely slow as well, I gave your company a second chance this year because you guys just opened last year. I figured you still had some things to work on since you are a new restaurant in the Topanga mall. If you do not have the staff for holiday parties, it would have been the right thing to do to communicate to our party for service being extremely slow. read more

I got the spaghetti. It wasn't good. A ton of noodles and 3 meatballs. No bread or anything to go with it. Salad is extra. The service is horrible. My waitress didn't check on me for at least 45 minutes that I was sitting there. Luckily I was just playing on my phone, but I did notice it. I wanted the wings but got discouraged bc she said they were 5 little small wings for $16. I passed on it. No water refills were given at my table. I expected a little more than what I got. The atmosphere is nice. They have couches to lounge at and comfortable chairs with a variety of small and tall tables. They also have TV's. read more

I came in around 4:30 on a Wednesday. There was absolutely no one to greet us. There was actually no one around. We walked around looking for someone, and about five minutes later a man came out and said they were short staffed. Unusual, but understandable. There was an upstairs, that the man said we could go to because there were servers up there, and it would be faster service because they had a bowling party upstairs to attend to. Ok, no problem. I would also like to mention that the floors from the bottom, to on the stairs, and the second floor were beyond sticky. Like when you walked, your shoes felt like they were sticking to the floor with each step. You could hear the stick. Strange. We go upstairs and decide to sit at the bar, the woman behind the bar was very nice, but said she had a large party to attend to and would help us when she could. We were in no rush, and she was very friendly, again no problem. A few other staff members showed up to help her shortly thereafter. Very nice staff. We ordered wine, beer, fries and pizza. It was very good. The prices were a little pricey for happy hour. I think $12 for a side of fries for happy hour is pretty expensive. It really was not a big portion at all for that price. The house wine was good (pinot noir). The pizza was tasty (chicken/avo). I noticed most of the items on the happy hour menu were $12 or more. Those are not really happy hour prices. How much are non happy hour fries!?? Overall, this place is just ok. Don't think we will be back. Please hire more people, there are so many people looking for jobs. Also, I know I can't be the only one complaining about the floor situation. And last, maybe rethink your happy hour prices. For the type of service/ambience this place is promoting, this is not what you are delivering. read more

Went here yesterday for a friend's birthday brunch. The food was incredible and there was so much variety even for vegetarians. Our server, Ryan C was just lovely. We recently held an event at Pinstripes on 10/26/24 and were extremely disappointed with the experience. A major miscommunication occurred between Karen Strong and her team: Karen assigned us a different location than the one her associate originally showed us. When we brought this up to her upon arrival, she dismissed our concerns, saying, "You have a nice table; go eat your food and enjoy your reception." Additionally, the table layout was entirely different. We were promised individual tables but instead were given a single, very long table for our 50 guests. Despite the rocky start, we tried to set aside our disappointment and enjoy the evening. We opted for the appetizer buffet-style menu, which was also underwhelming. The calamari lacked flavor, and the chicken skewers, sliders, and pigs in a blanket were all very dry. Toward the end of the night, we discovered that each guest who ordered individually from the bar (outside of our package) was automatically charged a 20% gratuity, even for single drinks. When we brought this up to Alex, the manager assisting us through the night, he was very understanding, apologized for the mistake, and promised to correct it. However, Karen noticed the conversation and immediately jumped in, contradicting him and saying he "didn't know what he was talking about" because he was "only" a manager. She asserted that due to our large party and the contract, all guests would be subject to the 20% gratuity. I've never experienced this at large events; gratuity for cash bar purchases has always been at the guest's discretion. Karen then raised her voice, accusing us of not wanting to tip her employees, and told us to "settle up, pack up, and leave the restaurant." We explained calmly that we all intended to tip, but the automatic gratuity was unexpected, especially for our guests who wouldn't have known if they hadn't checked their receipts. Fortunately, the assistant general manager, Daniel, witnessed the interaction. He intervened, stating that Karen's behavior was completely uncalled for and excused her from the conversation. Both David and Alex were the only redeeming parts of our evening at Pinstripes, as they addressed our concerns and genuinely tried to help. Thank you to both of them for their professionalism. If you're planning an event at Pinstripes, avoid working with Karen Strong, as she demonstrated a complete lack of customer service. read more

I went with my husband and reserved a bowling lane for 2 hours which was $100, a bit on the pricier side but we paid for the experience which did do it justice. The food was great, and drinks were strong. The employees were super friendly, they didn't know answers to some of the menu questions we asked, but again it's still very new so I understand. We stumbled upon this place as we were doing some shopping. We were greeted outside this wonderful establishment by the best server in the joint named Donny. He convinced us to give it a try and we were not disappointed at all! The service was phenomenal; ask for Donny to be your server when you come. We ordered the cowboy burger and the jambalaya and WOW they were both incredible dishes. This place has the ambience and class of a high end restaurant with award winning food but the prices are extremely fair for what you get and the portions are big. We had the brownie with housemate gelato and whipped cream for dessert and it blew us out of the water! This is our new spot. read more

We waited for Pinstripes to open hoping it will be in time for my birthday in November and fortunately we got the opportunity to tour the place ahead of time. Brooke Colglazier was very kind to accommodate us during their hectic schedule training their employees to give us a private tour of the facility. The place was incredible how it's planned from the main entry to the main floor of the restaurant. You have the main bar in the middle of the restaurant to enjoy your drink and some football on few tv's in the area. They have a large ballroom upstairs which can be split into two smaller ballroom adjacent to the new state of the art bowling alleys. On the other side of the ballroom is another bar with full height glass and bocce ball. Overall very nice space, something we don't have in this side of the valley. Came back on the soft opening last Friday and place was packed, they decided to open the doors to public instead of the invitation/ticket only attendance, I get it, they're are trying to promote the business to the community. In spite of the over crowding I think the management and the staff handled it nicely. Food and drink was flowing smoothly. The staff were very nice even though I'm sure this was a stressful time with the unusual number of people. I think it was a successful beginning. We wanted to experience the normal business so we booked a late lunch the next day, it did not disappoint, got the calamari, lobster bisque and the rib eye was phenomenal. On that day, we were fortunate enough to have met the owner, Dave and found out that he is very hands on and even the design and the look of the place. He was very particular about what's on and anything else to improve the customer experience. Decided to booked my birthday party for mid November and looking forward to a great party at Pinstripes. No complaints. The food was absolutely delicious and everything else was good. We ordered the truffle fries to start, lobster mac and cheese and the super salad for dinner. We also ordered the La Mora and Tuscano Sangrio cocktails. We were expecting a bit more fruit flavor in the drinks, but they were good. Everything was timely and our server was attentive enough. I came to eat here with a group of friends in February 2025 and the food was good. The waiter was okay aside from the fact that I asked for a water that I NEVER received, which I can excuse because I get that she likely got busy and forgot. The worst part came afterward when I received an email from my credit card company showing that I was charged an extra $45.56 on my $62 bill that I did not authorize ( the bill already had gratuity included). I spent the next several weeks calling to get a hold of a manager and was told that they would get back to me since they were in a meeting and I waited several days at a time and they never did. Eventually I did call and spoke to a manager who was very cold and never apologized or did anything to remedy the situation. They said they would get back to me once they got to the bottom of it but never did. I want to give the waiter the benefit of the doubt and believe that they likely made a mistake since it's crazy to even think you could get away with something like that but the managers lack of people skills and follow through is inexcusable. Wings arrived after another 15 min wait. They were tasty but we waited another 15 mins for the entree. The Italian Jambalaya was super salty. Not good at all. Enjoyed lunch at Pinstripes in the Westfield Topanga Mall. We were warmly greeted by Vivek, the General Manager. Ordered from the Craft Your Own Lunch, choosing the velvety cream of tomato soup and the creative and tasty Mia's roasted turkey, with cranberry sauce, sliced apple, & provolone on a brioche roll. The soup had just the right amount of seasoning and the sandwich was so filling we took half home. I ordered the chicken Italian dumpling soup which had a unique and flavorful mixture of seasoning and texture. The legendary lobster flatbread was amazing with buttery Maine lobster, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, scallion, garlic and oregano crust. The dessert menu was appealing, although we were too full to partake, we are sure to return to sample. Many thanks to Alex for his personal attention. Goodness, where to start. How do you give a rating when some of it should be 5 stars and some should be 1-4?? I hosted an engagement party for my daughter and soon to be son-in-law. The space was amazing and spacious and worked well for our group. (5*). When we arrived an hour early to get a few things set up, the room was set up with 4 tables of 10. Hmmm how does that work when I've already paid for 43??!!! When I visited a few months ago I was shown the space and there was a "conversation corner" with sofa and chairs which were specifically pointed out. Got there and no conversation corner! So as we are trying to set up flowers and balloons they are scrambling around us to do additional set up. Food: I had to point out several times that the food trays were empty. We ordered Belgian waffles and it was only served with syrup. Hmm, not sure but we thought it would have strawberries and cream as it's described in the brochure. The sausage was excellent. The bacon was severely undercooked and by the time I asked for it to be cooked more most people were done. No one actually served drinks. Guests were expected to get on their own. Considering you are forced into a 22% service charge I would have expected much better. The servers were nice but nice only goes so far. In summary, you are paying for an amazing space, not for the food or service. read more

After bowling we went to eat at the restaurant and it was okay. Two days later our credit card company sends an alert that on top of a $70 food bill we authorized $211 TIP and if that was normal. Heck no. The total was with tip $70. We called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager but the said he was busy even after telling them that if they didn't get back we would dispute it but wanted to fix it with them. Our First time here and I am absolutely blown away! My husband and I sat at the bar and we were promptly greeted by Karin and Thomas. We were able to try their Valentines drink specials. Both were delicious. We had the calamari, pepperoni flatbread and pigs in a blanket. All were fantastic. Including a sweet treat at the end (peanut butter and jelly delight).
