We stopped in and asked them to take a look, and they were able to quickly figure out what the issue was and help us figure out a solution. They had the kind of oil we needed to top us off and most places don't carry it. Hutch's towing towed us off the Ohio Turnpike and we stayed two nights at the Quality Inn across the street. I called Suburban Auto first thing Monday morning. Dave was very accommodating and got working on our vehicle right away. He was finished in just a few hours and did a very thorough job at flushing all the burnt gunk out of the car. When I thanked him for working so quickly he said he put himself in my shoes and thought how he'd want to get on his way home right away. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and empathy to our situation as I was still two days from home and had two children and a dog with me. The car worked just fine all the way back to Connecticut without incident. I got in to see my regular mechanic a few days later to check the vehicle over. He said Suburban Auto did a great job. My company had this shop contracted to keep our fleet of vehicles serviced. Over a year and a half…read moreof taking the van to this place and they never gave the van an alignment or did anything proactive about it's suspension. They just let it eat up three whole sets of tires in that amount of time and batted away my concern with the 5-10 degrees of negative camber that had resulted, saying the "ball joints don't usually go bad"... Vehicles don't "usually" have death wobble either... Guy just wants to do the least amount of work and get it back out the door, like they are too busy everyday.
