Hutch's towing towed us off the Ohio Turnpike and we stayed two nights at the Quality Inn across the street. I called Suburban Auto first thing Monday morning. Dave was very accommodating and got working on our vehicle right away. He was finished in just a few hours and did a very thorough job at flushing all the burnt gunk out of the car. When I thanked him for working so quickly he said he put himself in my shoes and thought how he'd want to get on his way home right away. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and empathy to our situation as I was still two days from home and had two children and a dog with me. The car worked just fine all the way back to Connecticut without incident. I got in to see my regular mechanic a few days later to check the vehicle over. He said Suburban Auto did a great job. The mechanic said John, the owner, could give me a price if I wanted to go ahead and repair the vehicle (it is a 1999, so it may not have been worth pricey repairs). I called back evrry single day trying to get a hold of the owner, only to be told he was on the phone with someone else and would call me back shortly. He never did. Finally got a hold of him a week later and he told me he didnt want to spend the time putting together a price unless I was committed to the repairs, which I found weord since the cost was the deciding factor. I told him to go ahead and put the price together for me. A week later I had not heard anything, so I called back. They said they didnt have anything for me, and would call me back... Long story short, after an entire month of waiting and not getting even one call back after being told numerous times that they would, I finally told them I could not go any longer without a vehicle. They promised me again they would call me the next day with or without a price to update me. Again, they did not. The owner, John, constantly promised to call back, and never did. He also would not give me a straight answer about anything. It took 4 phone calls and a trip to the shop to finally pick up my vehicle, which they had not even touched in a month. Conpletely wasted my time and left me in the dark the entire time. Broken promises and no return calls. Do not go here.
