Wow!!! Max and his team are incredible!! I took my 1 year old pup to 5 other doggy day cares and…read moreshe just didn't like it. I think this is because there wasn't a consistent, calm pack leader...Max is exactly that. As soon as she started working with Max, I could tell she ABSOLUTELY loved him! Every time he comes to pick her up and take her to the dog park, she wags her tail, jumps higher than I even knew possible, and doesn't look back. She is incredibly comfortable with him and is always tired and happy when she gets back home. Not only has Max been accommodating and flexible, but he has also been a super supportive dog expert who has helped me with different things that have come up with my dog, whether it's concerning behaviors or even tips on grooming, etc. He truly cares about his dogs and will do whatever it takes to ensure their wellbeing. This kind of care is exactly what I have been looking for ever since I got my pup! On another note, I have personally seen Max at the dog park while there with his dog packs and he is super aware of doggy dynamics and knows exactly how to interact when dogs begin fighting or getting aggressive. It's so impressive! I would trust him 100% to ensure my pup is safe, which can be a tall order for my dog, who tends to be vocal and is a bit of a large personality. THANK YOU MAX AND YOUR TEAM!

Just a shout out to Dog's Day Out! Not only was I a longtime customer but I was part of a guerrilla…read moresurvey group who wanted to know about doggie day cares. In both cases DDO passed with flying colors! Our initial resident husky, Cassie, became a better dog (seriously!) as a result of her time socializing and learning the rules at DDO. And all of our subsequent dogs (yup, huskies) trained to be good canine citizens with either Danette or Erika. The positive impact that these two and DDO have made on their local neighborhood is significant! In fact, so considerate of their neighbors that our first husky was not accepted for fear she'd jump the fence and escape/disturb nearby neighbors. Eventually, Cassie was accepted but watched very closely. Ironically, in my volunteer work at the Seattle Animal Shelter I have found that both Danette and Erika have made significant contributions both in person and in helping to write the training materials that guide new dog walking volunteers at SAS. And they hire like-minded, conscientious people at DDO who also give their time to Shelter dogs. Truly, these are the best people! And I say that as an approaching 70 years semi-curmudgeon-ish woman who likes dogs way better than people most of the time. Check our DDO in Ballard or Burien. I'll likely be there too, as I'm down to only one senior-ish husky.

She has provided loads of information and homework too!

Wow - where do I start ! Our dog Maxine has been going here for 2 years now. What stands out for us…read moreabout Fuzzy Buddy's is that everyone on the staff seems to genuinely LOVE dogs. Dana (owner) is an excellent dog trainer/behaviorist so all her staff is very knowledgeable. They strongly believe in positive re-enforcement based methods so you can be assured that your dog is treated with love and respect here. I have never seen anyone even raise their voice at a dog here or even look like they were having a rough day. What also stands out about FB's is the care and attention that the staff takes. The large play area is always clean, has lots of toys, and dog play is always monitored by at least two people. The staff is very proactive about keeping the dogs engaged and active as well as understanding when dogs need a break. At the end of each day, we get a report on what our dog did and who she played with (never get tired of hearing chronicles of Maxine). Our dog has had pretty bad stomach issues so sometimes they need to give her meds and food at odd times - they have never missed a beat. They actually have had very useful recommendations on what could help with her health issues. As for the pricing - it is competitively priced and worth every penny. On a side note, Dana has excellent classes on doggy manners and dog signals. Also, some of the staff does dog sitting on the side. I highly recommend Brooke and Hannah for this.

The facility smells…read moreas though it hasn't had a proper or thorough cleaning in a while, and I get that it's a dog daycare and it is bound to smell like pee and poop. I do notice employees cleaning after dogs do their business so I don't feel like it's a lack of effort on their part. However, I feel as though it might be a matter of the flooring used? I'm not sure. Other than that I have no complaints. Although, it would be nice to have cameras installed throughout the facility so we could see the dogs playing virtually!
