Cool tourist stop for about 10-15 minutes. Lots of fun picture opportunities including sides and top of the building and boats in the waterway in the back. Well maintained. Tips: look for parking space as soon and you get close, we were able to get one quickly but I don't see many around.

Another cool spot for local flavor. It is somebody's residence so be mindful and respectful as they do have normie neighbors and that parking is scarce and the roads are a tad narrow. I thought only one side of the house was going to be decorated. Boy was I wrong! This household goes all out with multiple pirates of all types, origins, poses, and sizes. The side of the house facing the alleyway is truly impressive and great for photos. Captain Jack Sparrow is there too! With his mug of Coors lmao. The roof also has a cowboy and horse and the Pirate House has some pirate boats docked next to the house too complete with Jolly Roger flags, their own pirates, and parrots too! Fun and great for photos. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

One of the coolest houses I've ever seen in my life. I'm so lucky to meet the owner when I visited there. He was cleaning the artworks. Yes, I definitely say this house is a piece of master artwork. It is super amazing, whimsical and well-designed. The owner said he wanted the kids on street would enjoy the fairy ground when they couldn't go to Disneyland during pandemic. That's so sweet of him. I also met his cat, a very cute and adorable cat~ If you are nearby, you can come to visit and take photos of this beautiful house.

Happened upon this house paddle boarding today, loved the bar scene, drunk apes, big red cock and bondage.

Cool little spot located in a Newport Beach neighborhood. I've been in and around Newport , but this was my first time here. Took me around 15 minutes to see everything, but it was worth a look. The owner of the house is really big on detail. There's so much to see on , on top of ,and even in the dock area in front of the house.I enjoyed spotting all of the Captain Jack Sparrows as well !

If you are looking for something to do, I recommend a day trip to Balboa Island for a beach bar, then drive down to the Pirate House and walk around there. There is so much to see. This guy put a lot of work into this display. Very 'Pirates of the Caribbean' esque

Quick stop on 9/11 I already knew parking would be difficult. Friend & I took turns sitting in the car in case we were told to move, while the other took quick pics. LOVED the creativity. MUST see! Wish I could have spent more time checking out all the details

A fun spot to view from the water or on land! Rumor has it that a former Disney imagineer designed this place. Definitely check it out!

I had an unforgettable conversation with the gentlemen that owns the Pirate house. A Humble, kind man that embodied my favorite kind of dry humor. As we chatted and laughed he filled my heart with joy, we agreed that the environment is important to protect and as a steward of the earth he signed up to be our newest GREENPEACE member. Unforgettable !! And i hope to be around to experience more moments.

The Pirate House is located on the southeast corner of this street juncture.

Until the age of four I lived right around here. It's been a long time since I was four, and when my mom and I went to drive by the old house we came upon this place which we thought was the house we used to live in. It was not but I sort of wish it were since then I'd have carte blanche to knock on the door and ask for a look-see around the old digs. People do that, you know? Anyway, you hardly need to enter the house to get an eyeful. From far down the street you can see the giant rooster atop the roof. The cowboy too. The cowboy's horse. And the Indian. Then you get up close and you have a veritable Pirate's Lair. It's sort of like being inside Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean with saucier babes and daylight. And whoa? There's Johnny Depp, just like in the ride. And Shrek. And Lady Liberty. And lots of buxom pirate wenches. This house is littered, on both the Marcus Street side and the 35th Street side, with life-sized pirates scaling ropes and doing other swashbuckly things. If SIlver Lake's Chandelier Tree (http://www.yelp.com/biz/chandelier-tree-los-angeles) can make it onto Yelp I see no reason why the Pirate House shouldn't be here as well. They didn't decorate this house for people not to drive by and gawk. Have at it. And bring your camera.

However, the admission fees, parking fees, OUTRAGEOUS costs for food and drinks (spent over $200), was just over the top for us. I knew going in that we were going to splurge a little, however, the cost of some of these food items were INSANE. Truly, some of the best bites was the Birria Eggroll and the Alligator Bites, probably the couple of the cheapest things I bought! The Mango Ube Sticky Rice was also delicious. We also did the silly thing of buying the $30 baby bottle filled with Mango Pineapple Lemonade. It was yummy, and yes, the product itself is silly, but VERY cheap in that the top cracked and eventually was spilling on us throughout the day. We had to eventually throw it away; $30 in the trash. Luckily, we did the smart thing by arriving at 4:00pm (gates opened at 3:00pm) and we left by 8:00pm. Seeing the place fill up and the lines after leaving was shocking! We did not have to wait more than 15 minutes at any food vendor booth. I have read nothing but disappointment from frequent 626 Night Market attendees in the raising costs and mediocre food. I was not super impressed. There were plenty of vendors and I am in support of small businesses, but once again, VERY overpriced. Plus, we came strictly to try the foods. Thanks for the memories, but I will gladly be taking my $200+ for a much better dining experience elsewhere.

There are free lockers to put your stuff in while you play, but you can also carry things like phones around. Some games require running around a lot so you should wear closed toe shoes. Games range from laser, floor tile, basketball, and more. When it is very busy you can put your name on the queue until the current group finishes. Some of the games were very short when it got really busy, basically like 30 seconds so not really a game at all before we had to exit the room. The rooms also don't have an easy way to tell if it's occupied so you have to peak into a dark room to see if there are shadows of people inside. I would've preferred a light that signifies that it's occupied so it's easier to tell. The games also start immediately after you enter the room and the game instructions aren't always clear. It's similar to recently-opened Hijinx Hotel in Irvine in that each of the rooms has a different objective and you work with your team to achieve it. I think I prefer Hijinx Hotel more because their games are funner and the experience is better, but this is still a fun and family-friendly event.
