What a horrendously terrific time we had at The Haunted Castle house last night! With Halloween falling on a Monday, my family didn't want to make huge plans. I heard about The Castle House, and thought it would be a perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit. I cannot believe this is a house and not an attraction in an amusement park! Very grateful to the owners of the house who must've spent so much time, effort and money to put this together. Everyone involved were so in character, amazing costumes and props. Each room was eerily good. Very detailed, amazing props, spooky, but still family friendly. I definitely recommend, as it is MUCH better to experience in person. We managed to get a family picture outside, but you must go inside yourself to see the actual haunt. The house itself is free to enter, but tips are welcome. $10 donation gets you VIP access to front of line. We paid, not only to get in front, but as a thank you gesture. Will love to go again next year!

Cool experience $5 for adults $10 express pass. Rad time whole thing is like 5 min maybe less

Every square foot of this haunt is frightfully alive. 17 focuses on great actors and inventive non stop scares with dozens and dozens of monsters throughout all 17 rooms. Makeup and special effects are just amazing. This is a haunter's haunt that attracts the best talent around. Expect to be thrilled, scared, shocked and delighted. These monsters ain't shy, so strap in, you are in for a wild ride! Before you visit any other haunted attractions, visit 17th door first. It's in a league of its own. Sure you can tromp around another huge, overpriced, overcrowded, "just ok" theme park haunt with the same worn out mazes and the same bored rubber masked zombies doing the same tired old pop up gags you see every year, or you can do 17 and see the industry's best veteran scare actors who bring the fright night after night. Easy free parking too right in front of the main entrance. Highly recommend.

That said (and without spoiling a thing), this year's production absolutely exceeded my expectations. No cheesy jump scares here, instead they go straight for the deep seated phobias, the stuff that actually gets under your skin. The execution? Beautifully done. Creative, intense, and immersive from start to finish. Still holding out hope that the Field Trip makes a comeback one day. If I had a magic Halloween genie, that's the first wish I'd cash in. Tips: - whole experience is about 45 minutes long - Wear comfortable shoes, you'll be moving, ducking, and maybe running for your life - VIP tix so worth it if you go when it's packed, you skip the line straight to the front - If you're nervous or easily freaked out, grab the mercy pendant - You might get wet in a few spots, so plan accordingly with your hair and makeup situation - And please, pray with me that they bring the Field Trip back, it deserves a resurrection!!!!

This wasn't just an escape room; it was a deeply immersive, high-stakes horror experience. What sets this game apart is how incredibly engaging it is. They offer a choice between contact and full-contact levels, and if you really want the ultimate experience, you absolutely must opt for the full-contact version. It elevated the intensity and made the game feel so much more visceral and real. A huge part of why this was such a standout experience was our Game Master, Marcus. He was phenomenal--professional, attentive, and he truly knew how to guide the game to maximize both the scares and the fun. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend requesting Marcus as your GM. We had an unforgettable time. However I do recommend donating since they put in much effort to offer us a super great experience, they have QR codes all around the house where you can scan and make an easy donation. You can also support by buying their merch which include T shirts in my experience. Their only open on certain days and I highly suggest checking out their Instagram @twisted_dreams_haunt which they post their schedule. To enter you simply step in line and as you near the front they hand you a waiver which is for your entire party, once signed you're ready for a super fun adventure! I also love the fact that they send parties in one by one to ensure a full experience. So no jump scares will be spoiled! But because they do this the lines also take a very long time. So I definitely recommend going on the earlier dates before Halloween because the 31st is often super packed.

This is different from other haunted mazes that I have been to because they actually have vendors here and a live band playing. This is held in what was formally a Macy's...which adds to the creepy factor. There is also two scare zones that you walk through on the first floor. There is a total of three mazes...one on each floor. The first floor maze was one of the best mazes that I have ever been through. It is very interactive and personal. I like that you are not herded through like cattle which takes away the scary factor. This maze made me face my claustrophobia fears and once I made it through I was half filled with anxiety and half filled with thrill. Needless to say, we ended up doing that maze again. Actually, we went through all the mazes twice. The other mazes are really cool and the 3rd floor one is also unique in the way that you go through the maze. I won't add any spoilers. I definitely recommend this haunt. They have promo codes and discounts tickets out there and I would look for them, otherwise it's on the pricey side. Happy Haunting!!!

I've enjoyed their attraction when they were still in Fullerton and remember getting the crap scared out of me. I can report that they did it again tonight! Side note: I'm a Halloween haunt fan but a major scaredy cat! Located inside Laguna Hills Mall which is also by In N Out. Parking is plentiful and FREE! We purchased our tickets thru Groupon so entering was a breeze. No line at the entrance at 9:45pm on Friday 10/19/18. It was definitely a slower night. We completed all 3 attractions in 1.5 hours. This used to be a Macy's department store, so there is a lot of space they had to work with! Upon walking in on the first floor, there is a stage and vendors scattered among 2 scare zones which are mini maze walk throughs. Restrooms are only port o potties located on first floor by the entrance. There are 3 attractions - Boogeyman Express, Phobias, and Evil on 2. The website states there would be light touching by scare actors which I noticed A LOT of! Also, I noticed a heavy use of strobe lights. Some mazes splash you lightly with water and some require crawling. "Boogeyman Express" was SO FUN!! Line up here first! We waited almost 30 mins (I read that it can be longer), but it was so worth it! It is a train-like ride which is actually pretty scary with a pinch of adult comedy from the conductor. This attraction had me screaming, ducking, and jumping all from inside a train. Allowing only small groups (4 can comfortably fit in the train) really intensifies this experience! This ride should definitely NOT be missed! "Phobias" is a walk through INTERACTIVE maze! The line took a little longer because they only allow small groups in.. you'll see why! It's pretty fun and kept me on my feet. You literally experience some common phobias so proceed with caution! I refused to do certain things because like I said, I am a chicken! Thankfully my BF and a random guy who went thru with us completed the tasks! I appreciate how the walk through is built and all the surprises inside! "Evil on 2" is a haunted hotel themed walk through maze. The concierge walked us in to a big, dark room (it looked like what used to be the loading dock) and I instantly became scared! I like how this maze is different from other attractions due to utilizing department store stuff. The scare actors inside also did a great job hiding in unexpected places which sent me running away screaming! Overall, I think Sinister Pointe did a GREAT job! My experience may differ being a scaredy cat and having a small crowd which meant no more than 4 people grouped together in each attraction. I look forward to what Sinister Pointe offers next year!
