Came in for a delivery order and It wasnt done. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Brought me the Order unsealed. No receipt for the driver to confirm their picking up the right order. Asked for one and he said he doesn't have a receipt. So I asked for him to put name on box so doordash can confirm driver picked up the right order in case there's any issue after delivery . Told me no and I'm asking for too much. Took order back and refused to give me the order. Rude. Dirty. Terrible customer service. 2 weeks ago we ordered a Veggie and meat pizza. It came with pineapple. Needless to say I am allergic, they offered to make a new one and I told them to take it back. The driver said no it's okay and he left. My husband and son picked the pinapple off and ate 3 slices. Then 10 min later the driver came back for a picture. Okay no problem. They remade the pizza and left this note (attached) apologizing and sent a can of coke and 2 brownies. Very nice of them as accidents do happen. I decided to try this small pizza business and was pleasantly surprised! We got two large pizzas--Hawaiian and BBQ chicken. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious, and the BBQ chicken was great, too, but we would have really loved for it to have purple onion and cilantro. Their ranch is homemade, too, which was a nice touch. This place is the "go to" for San Bernardino and Highland and surrounding areas. The pizzas are always on point, the service is fast and efficient, and they always taste great. To top it off - it's still affordable! Awesome cheesy meaty goodness - well balanced sauce, and a good crust completes the pie. I work at the nail Salon(Classy Nails) in the same plaza and always order for the Employees and they all loved it especially the veggies pizza, since i have employees that only eat Vegetarian. Leaving a honest review regarding the food. Very confused by the good reviews about this place. Maybe we just got a bad batch? My husband and I were visiting friends in the area. We chose this pizza placed based on reviews but beware. I give the place two stars for service and staff was friendly but the pizza was pretty mediocre. The pizza had no taste. The crust was very dry. The Margherita pizza was basically a plain pie with large tomatoes placed on top. We already had low expectations as we are from The NJ/NY area. So I'm not a big pizza eater, but we've been going to this place for several years now. The man that used to work there I haven't seen him in a while. These days, nothing says American Food more than pizza (with the possible exception of the hamburger, of course!). It's been a staple of the American palate for decades now. And no matter where you go, almost every geographic region of the USA has its own variation of it (New York, Chicago, Detroit, etc). Some places, like the Gourmet Pizza Shop in Redlands for instance, turn pizza into an art form with over 80 different variations. Pisa Pizza, however, focuses on quality; and they do it very, very well. If any of you kind readers are familiar with (and love!) "Strongman Pizza" in Redlands, I can almost guarantee you're going to be a fan of Pisa Pizza. They taste *that* much alike. The location itself is nothing special. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place located in a plaza on the corner of Highland and Del Rosa. The plaza itself has seen better days and isn't located in the best neighborhood. It's very close to where Highland and San Bernardino come together. There is no dine-in service. It's takeout or delivery only. Don't let any of this fool you, however. Their pizza is consistently some of the best that my family and I have had. They offer salads and sandwiches as well - but Pizza is their strong point. Their ingredients always taste fresh, and their pizza crust is *just* thick and chewy enough to hold up and complement the toppings but not so thick as to think you are filling up on just the crust. The crust is usually perfectly balanced between crispy and chewy. One thing that I LOVE about their pizza (and why I compare it to Strongman), is they have the PERFECT sauce/cheese ratio. That is to say, they don't drown their pizzas in the sauce. They are more cheese-forward, with the sauce in the background to enhance the taste of everything else on the pie. THIS RATIO IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! Some places don't seem to understand that and they turn their pizza into a gooey, saucy mess that is bound to ruin your shirt! Their prices are also very reasonable for the size and quality of their pizzas; and they have all the specialty pizzas that you'd expect (Meat Lovers, Veggie, Hawaiian, etc). But alas!!! No cashews as a topping offering?! That's sacrilege here in the IE!! Seriously though, Pisa Pizza has become our "go-to" spot when we want to order pizza for home. We don't even consider places like Pizza Hut, Papa Johns's, or Domino's anymore. Plus, we love the idea of patronizing local shops so we keep our dollars local. Try them, I'm almost certain you'll agree they are among the best in town. read more
