Came here 9:40am on a Sunday. We were assigned a seat and told to come to the counter when we were ready to place our order; as we did. An hour later they came with our "hot" lattes served luke warm and one was missing. Wish it was served hot, like a latte oughta be. They said it would be 20min for another chocolate bliss to be made. Instead of being next, they put us on the bottom of the queue. Over an hour later the drink never came out. Why wouldn't they make it a priority to fix an error? We finished eating. We skipped the dessert because I was so upset to have to wait so long for an error to be corrected. Poor kid watched every one have a drink without having one. Not cool. It was now 11:40, when I asked to speak to the manager to complain about my daughter's drink not coming out, he told me wait because he's busy. I object that I've already been waiting over an hour, he says "no you haven't" My 15yr old then tells me "Mom it's ok, let's just go" she was only upset we were waiting for nothing thinking it'll come. No way to treat customers! 1star because this ruined my Mother's Day, and there's no way I can get the day back! I definitely rather not come here again. What a shame because I really wanted to try their desserts. Instead of trying to rectify things, the manager reach out to justify it arguing with me. I would never recommend this spot. Overpriced chaos: Very friendly staff and pastries were okay but pretty much everything else was bad. They brought out the wrong food to him and did not even notice that they were handing him a sandwich while saying it was a waffle. The waffle was the wrong one. Pumpkin spice instead of classic. The omelette was very bad. Egg texture seemed fake and it all tasted like refrigerator. No silverware or napkins provided and the plastic ones you can grab cannot cut the food. There were 2 gentlemen behind the counter that just took our order, but had no other conversation or connection. The ambiance was very pretty just like the other cafe but definitely smaller. I had the pistachio latte and it was delicious. So was the pistachio cake! But the rose and orange water lattes were not my cup of tea. Ok, ladies & gentlemen...here, we have one of the nicest cafes I have ever visited. It is perfectly situated at a corner location, has large windows, and the entire site has plenty of seating. The staff member, Mohamed, was extraordinary. He told us the history of this cafe (5 years of age), explained the drink menu, created great beverages, and made our stay memorable. The decor is ornate, eye catching, aesthetically pleasing, charming, and I enjoyed how every area had a different theme and feel. My drink.....wow!.....was called, Spicy Mexican Mocha. This speciality drink was AMAZING. Every sip caused a welcoming warm/spicy feeling all the way down to your chest. A perfect drink for the winter. The pastry was just as good as the drink and thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Cappuccino Cake and is highly recommended. If you prefer to have food or a meal, Pistachio Cafe can oblige. They have a full menu ranging from Paninis, Omelets, Salads, to even a Syrian Typical Home Breakfast for 3. Have been here a handful of times but my most recent experience was amazing. This is a cute, cozy cafe with a delightful interior. I love the pistachio name and theme. The extra hot pistachio latte made with pistachio milk was creamy and delicious. The dried rose petals and crushed pistachio on top was the perfect touch. Highly recommend this latte. I would not recommend the pastries. I went at an off time and my date was a little cranky. But immediately it is hard to maintain a bad attitude in such a cozy and clean place. I was hoping the hot chocolate would be super rich and fluffy but it was just ok. My date loved it and drank the whole thing. The macarons weren't super fresh and kind of artificial tasting. I had high hopes for the place after hearing about it. It's certainly unique and "instagrammable" on the inside, which always gives me pause as to how good the food actually is. Unfortunately my suspicions were proven right. I ordered the fig tartine, a side of turkey bacon, and a pistachio latte. The tartine was super small -- $14 for one small slice was pretty disappointing. The flavors were unique, with the savory brie + the sweetness of the fig and honey, but I wish the toast was warm... it was a bit cold. Great concept in theory, execution was meh. And the side salad was way too drenched in dressing. The turkey bacon was just okay. The pistachio latte was pretty good, but not amazing. This year my birthday was on Memorial Day, when my family asked me where I would like to go, I said Pistachio Cafe. Given that Memorial Day is a major national holiday, I wanted to make sure they were open, so I called, and sure enough they were. We drove over 45 minutes on this rainy day, to find out they were only "partly open". They were open for coffee and desserts, but the kitchen was closed. A small detail no one shared with me until I arrived. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Pistachio Cafe uses Giv coffee beans for their coffee. I ordered the rose latte. Others in my party got the peach tea, and a regular latte. This as expected, was so delicious. It arrived in a mug, with a frothy coffee, and some dry rose petals on top. It was a bit sweet, but truly very good coffee. The other latte was also very good, it had the word "Pistachio" carefully written out in chocolate. They had a whole variety of tasty desserts, but I wanted food, which they weren't accommodating with at the moment. The inside is so beautiful! The pink neon sign and walls flourishing with foliage makes it easy on the eyes. Beyond being a bakery, they also offer a selection of sandwiches and coffee - making it a nice lunch or caffeine spot. However, if you do plan on eating in, do expect some pretty slow service which is what I experience. The sandwiches were decent, but nothing mindblowing - especially not with the wait. Pretty large steak fries came with the sandwich which was certainly different from the chips or french fries. The fries were actually quite tasty, but not very warm. The pricing is normal in the current market that we're in, but you do kind of expect a bit more food with that price point too. Overall, it's a decent spot for a cozy meal in a pretty setting. I ordered a mushroom-cheese omelette with hash browns and toast. I noticed immediately the "hash browns" were actually a microwaved frozen hash brown, which was disappointing. The bread was toasted but hard and cold. The omelette was the weirdest and grossest part--I think it was a frozen/microwaveable omelette!I've never seen anything like it in my life. I took a bite and the cheese was still frozen! And the mushrooms were rubbery and cold. I asked them to fix it and I swear they just put the entire plate in the microwave. The hash browns and toast were hard as a rock and the omelette was now crispy. So gross, disappointing, and at $25 with tip, a waste of my money. Diner eggs way better (obviously). read more

Hi I decided to try a new lunch place with a friend and it turned out all kind of wrong. I ordered a salad on the menu called the Green Goddess Salad. Well I got a bowl of greens ($17.00). Certainly nothing like described on the menu nor the picture that is on the menu. The salad was to be mixed greens, pecans, dried cranberries, feta cheese red bell peppers (asked for tomatoes instead) and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I sent it back and was told it would take another 15 minutes which I did not have because we already waited 20 minutes to get our food. The manager came out an asked if I wanted something else and I responded NOPE. I did not trust them to do anything else if they could not even make a simple salad. She offered us both a smoothie on the house and those took forever as well. Keep in mind we got there at 11:30 before the lunch rush began. The waitress never came back to even ask us everything was fine. The rest of our encounter was with the manager. Speaks to the training they are giving the staff. My friend ordered a Veggie Wrap which was certainly not worth $17.00 bucks. Very little hummus, pickles, tomato and arugula with drop of red pepper paste. The place is cute but not worth another visit nor the trouble from me. My suggestion to this place is to train your staff better and do a better job reviewing your food before you bring it out to the customer. I would like to thank the manager that was on duty that day because she did her best to make things right. She was sent from another location to help this store do better - that speaks volumes.
