Always fresh! I've been on a pita kick lately and decide to try the deli fro the first. I enjoy their chicken shawarma and pita chips! I kept seeing reviews about their portion sizes and they don't disappoint! It's a great deal for the price. They make sure to load up your pita with lots of fresh veggies and sauces. To start, I want to be clear that the issue is not the service. The staff was nice and friendly. The problem is the food. I ordered a simple falafel pita wrap. The ingredients are somewhat fresh, so not a bad thing. The biggest problem I had was the falafel is cold. It's not labelled as a cold wrap, which is surprising as they have a whole section on their menu labelled cold. When I initially asked the employee for the Falafel, they had a bowl of them sitting on the warmer, and he took the Falafel from there and put it in the wrap. I asked if it was warm, he said that he could warm it up in the microwave if I wanted it warm. I asked if it's sitting in the warmer, is it warm, and he said yes. So I did not ask for it to be warmed up in the microwave. My wrap was then wrapped, and there was no warming of the pita or toasting of any kind. When I took a bite into the sandwich, a lot of the ingredients were extremely cold, like ice and the Falafel was cold as well. I think if there is no toasting of any kind there needs to be a little bit more clarity on that. As well, the Falafel was really grainy and not well seasoned. read more

Wow, I can't believe the reviews this place has. As I waited in line I noticed every time someone ordered chicken they would put a tupperware container filled with chicken in the microwave. Once it was my turn I asked if all their chicken goes through the microwave first, they responded yes. So I left. I'm sorry but I don't care how big or how tasty a shawarma is, if you aren't able to serve your meat without a microwave you shouldn't be serving meat. You are assured to be satasfied and full after eating there. The store is located in the 5 points mall, and always has a lineup of people ordering during food hours. I just came in for a quick bite and ordered a small Greek salad to go and I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised. I really expected just a standard shawarma joint but the woman who served me was SO friendly I couldn't believe it. I also got about double the size salad I expected for pretty cheap. The woman working also packed it with veggies so it wasn't all lettuce which was great. The dressing on the salad was a bit different than normal Greek dressing and had some herbs that I couldn't identify but it was really delicious. As soon as I walked in a beautiful cashier greeted me. Good start. My order was taken by a gentlemen that quickly took my order and was very respectful.
