Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1978.

On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. Unfortunately for me, they close early on Shabbat, so I had to be satisfied with my single visit. Outstanding experience, delicious food as over 2,000 reviews already attested to.

You can immediately see the large cone-like roasters of meat. I got the shawarma and falafel combo, that came out in a matter of minutes, served with a pita on the side. As someone who likes heat, I also piled on the harissa sauce. The best part was definitely the falafel - small, round and perfectly fried. At 10€, this is also one of the more affordable meals in Paris.

If you want to sit down at an actual table instead of at the bar or doing take-out, you have to pay more (normal for France, but still off-putting to me). But sacre Bleu! Their food is amazing! The main guy who works there arranges his wraps like a true artist, attentively arranging layer upon layer of sauces and meats and vegetables. I had no idea beets and chopped cabbage could be so good. Eat one of these flavor bombs and you will be pleasantly full for an entire day. The shawarma was juicy and not salted to death like at every other shawarma place in France. The falafel was freshly made and the best I've ever had outside of my personal favorite falafel restaurant back in Los Angeles. Babylone is really cheap- just 6 Euros or so for the wraps. Forget the overpriced brasseries, this is where it's at.

We tried the rotisserie chicken pita and the ratatouille one. Both were packed full of fresh ingredients. I loved the veggie one. But shoutout to the pita because it didn't collapse or get soggy from all the veggies and sauce. It held its own and was delish. Inside has some tables in back that were good but really this is a quick lunch space and a great one at that. Delish.

The cauliflower and sweet potato are visually stunning and well-roasted, but ultimately the condiments the restaurant offers don't compensate for the neutral preparation. Even tomato sauce, hot sauce and salt together couldn't coat the cauliflower in a satisfying way. When the vegetable is cooked with the idea of its being a blank canvas, it can't be retroactively perfected. Table salt should be a garnish, not the savior of a meal. The sweet potato fares better since I could mainline that vegetable, but if a roast sweet potato is that good without any seasoning, there's no reason to pay a restaurant premium for one. I am not trying to denigrate the concept of Miznon, because to do so would be to miss the point, but I would argue that I only ever need to experience Miznon once for novelty and then can move on to genuine meals at restaurants that justify the cost of dining out.
