This is an awesome Middle Eastern/Israeli food place I've had in a restaurant in Florida. I ordered the Shawarma on a plate and it tasted amazing. The hummus and the tahini were also great with their delicious pitas and by themselves. The purple cabbage is also really good. The salads are delectable. I highly recommend this place. read more

I went there for lunch with few coworkers. They gave us falafel for free because we were first-timer!. Nice, friendly people. I had never try shawarma before, didn't like it that much, it was a strong flavor. The hummus could be better. Next time I'll try something else of their menu. read more

Inexpensive and good, I got the falafel combo today and it was a large portion. The area is industrial but there is plenty of parking. Ingredients are fresh. My favorite was the eggplant, full of flavor. I am definitely coming back. read more

One of my favorite places to eat, they are always friendly and when you finish your meal you feel satisfied. Young chicken, shwarma, beef kabob all very tasty. Even the hamburger has a tasty flare to it. The cooks are the best around ans super nice. Food for two will run you about $30 but you get alot and worth every penny. read more

Absolutely delicious Jewish/middle eastern food: quick, flavorful, honest, friendly, affordable, short and sweet menu. The place looks like crap but once you eat here you get over it quick, at least it's clean. You'll likely see the Rabbi walking in to check the place out and say 'yeah, it'd eat there'. I've tried many Shawarma's and I must say this place is one of the best. The customer service was fabulous and one of the cooks offered me to try the meat first, because it was my first time there. Everyone there is so friendly and all I can say about this place is positive things. I know the next time I go it will be just as great and hopefully bring some friends along. The style of this restaurant reminds me a little bit of subway, as you pick what you want in your sandwich. Overall I just know I will return again. read more

Only had a felafel which was just ok but large and the guy making the sandwich skimped on adding the toppings that is after I could get his attention since he seemed more interested in talking to the other people working with him. The cashier tried to charge me for a shawarma and overcharge me since the whole time she was on her phone and too busy to really ask me what I ordered. Over all I paid about $9.50 for a felafel sandwich and bottle of water which seemed kind of pricey for a place that is kind of dirty and people cut in line in front of you to place there order. read more

Their claims to the "Best Pita Sandwich EVER" aren't far from the truth. I'm a big falafel lover and this place has some of the best. In a town full of Americanized chains, Pita Plus holds a solid spot on my short list of delicious authentic restaurants. I wasn't too keen on the styrofoam plates but don't let the cafeteria appearance deter you, the staff is attentive, helpful, and very friendly. The food is truly delicious with large portions and fair prices. Everything tasted fresh and home cooked, and for our mixed crowd there was something for everyone; vegetarian, vegan, and omnivore. My family and I visited Pita Plus last night, and the food was abundant and delicious. My niece and I had shawarma pitas, and they were soooo delicious. My parentsboth ordered the burger platters, which come with two huge patties each! I had to try a bite of the burger, and it definately wasn't ordinary, very juicy and full of flavor. My 6 year old ordered a shawarma platter, and loved it, and her little sister had a hot dog. The salads were delish, they have a salad bar for pickled veggies. read more

I was very excited to come here after reading nothing but 4-5 stars. Being the first time which I mentioned things moved really fast. I was not asked if I wanted white or whole wheat pita, I was not asked what I wanted in my Shwarma. I'm happy I was paying attention or I would have had more than a life time of humans in my pita. I was not asked if I wanted chicken or beef and I didn't pay attention to speedy behind the counter. I got the beef to my dismay and find it to be salty. All the food seems fresh and the place is relatively clean. I asked about what I will call the salad bar to the left as you walk in. I was not sure if I was allowed to try some of the vegetables on it however there was no kind of small plate or even a soufflé cup. Since I got the pita which came in a basket I was a little loses. I have traveled the world and still nothing beats this one place in Barcelona which I found shortly after moving there 6 years of the best pita I ever had. This being my first time I will chalk up my experience not knowing how the system works, I will come back again and hopefully all the reviews will check out to be true. Not as good as expected. unfortunately the swarma was not so flavorful and the salads as fillings were bland. the fries were frozen fake fries not real potatoes. I don't think I would spend money here again. sorry. read more

I cannot speak more highly for this gem of a restaurant. A friend recommended us to visit Pita Plus in Aventura and we were excited to see another location that was closer to us, in Hollywood. When I tell you this place is amazing, believe me this place is amazing. A family owned spot, with a lovely, resfresing, and family-oriented environment. Quality food, large portions (yes, a place that doesn't skimp lol), and great conversation with the owner and owner's mother. Couldn't think of a better place to enjoy some shawarma! read more
