    Shawarma Pita with salads inside

I miss the old version: orange diner booths where you could see everyone in town, shawarma without turkey, Israeli cable tv. The food is still freshly made to order; but the family atmosphere is gone. It's mostly take out now. And shawarma with turkey is not nearly as good.

Baba and side pita, they really are generous and it's delicious!

In person this is a 5 star experience. Service is swift and the food is hyper fresh, like grown in heaven's garden fresh, but such is the Kosher experience in general. I've had the mixed grill kabab, hummus, and falafel, hand cut fries and all are divine. The help yourself pickle bar is a thing of pure palette tingling indulgence that I am truly appreciative of. The prices are a bit heavy but as an occasional indulgence of superior quality with 2 meal worthy portions sizes, it's an absolutely justifiable investment.

So, if you follow my reviews, you would know that I was spending a lot of time in Nevada, specifically, the Las Vegas / Henderson / Summerlin areas... AND?! If you know me by now - if I check in to a place AND I don't review - most of the time, its because I really did not have a great thing to write... With all of the above - OMGosh - I have been craving an authentic shawarma sandwich - well, since I had a not so great one, and I wanted to validate that I actually knew what shawarma was... AND?! Pita Plus - is 100% the real deal ... everything in it... tasted the shawarma separately - everything was just insanely delicious.. I also had probably the best kibbe that I have had in years and years AND the grape leaves - were bar none.. The service there was superb and the atmosphere was large enough that you could have a party if you wanted without feeling it was toooo large. I have not been to this place since well, the old location, and that was many many many moons ago - So happy I got my breakfast, lunch, and dinner here tonight and it was just so excellent - I wanted to sign on and sing their praises... Manny and the whole staff were fantastic. Cannot wait to go back!!! 100%Jordsified. #ThatsMyByte!

One of my go to shawarma pita spots. Service is amazing, always super friendly. Salad bar is always fresh. Shawarma is always on point. And their pitas are so soft.

Since my first and only prior visit, eight years ago, Pita Plus' quality and pricing both appear to have gone in unfavorable directions. I'd been eager to come back here, hoping for a similar experience to my first trip and also hoping to re-live a couple of food moments I'd had on a recent trip to Israel. However... Problem #1: What I'd ordered was a "chicken shishkebab" pita, and what I got was not that. A shish kebab is, by definition, skewered (that's what 'sis' means in Turkish) grilled meat, whereas what I got were grilled chicken tenders, with no skewer involved. Not a big deal, but language is kind of important, plus it's always nice to be able to get what you think you ordered. Problem #2: The tenders were overcooked to the point of being tough, dry, and an unenjoyable chore to eat. Problem #3: Everything was under-seasoned. The sandwich was completely bland. Problem #4: A couple of hours after returning home, I found myself nauseated and reaching for the Pepto Bismol (something that rarely happens to me). Problem #5: The whole unfortunate experience cost $17+ (with tax, without a beverage), which is a lot for a modestly sized sandwich. On the plus side, service was friendly, and typically I'd award a star or two for that, but this particular meal was irredeemably bad.

It was great! Falafel was tasty also the Shawarma We will come back for sure. Pita bread was wonderful

Food is awesome and the service is outstanding. My favorite is the Pita Plus Mix... Delicious . Swarma is oh so goooood... Gotta try this place..and self serve pickles, Sauerkraut, pickled beets turnips, etc

    Falafel platter and shawarma platter

This is the place to be to get large portions of high quality food. Me and my boyfriend indulged in the platter with crunchy falafel, shawarma, hummus, and a plate piled with sides. I would highly recommend this place !

The service and management are terrific, restaurant spotless , and food was okay ! It's all kosher but I felt the food lacked taste.

Everything we tried was fresh, thoughtful, and genuinely excellent. The Turkish burekas was unreal & perfect with the pickles on the side. Jerusalem bagel was amazing, and the Romanian bagel took me to another dimension. The chocolate babka/krantz is dangerous. Absurdly good. I am disappointed that I didn't take any pics, but it is because I was mesmerized by the flavors The Israeli bakery concept was really missing in South FL, and it is executed beautifully here. They aren't just relying on a "concept," and it works because the food speaks for itself. Beyond that, service was warm and efficient. The management knows exactly what they're doing, they really care about quality and experience. Every detail works. Already excited to come back.

Found this steakhouse on the AADVANTAGE dining program…read more Olives and pita bread are served complimentary. There are no cocktails on this Saturday night. I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. The food was ok but overpriced. Stop in to support a small business. 1 issue I did have, the waiter didn't help us while ordering. My dad ordered rice with his lamb chops, not knowing that it came with rice, and the waiter said nothing. I was bothered, but 2 sides come with the steaks. My son didn't order any sides, so I requested that the rice be a side of my son's order. They corrected that with no problem. the spinach and the rice were removed from the bill.
