I was so excited to try it as soon as I heard it was Lebanese food! Growing up Lebanese there were very limited options in the valley for food, but let me tell you I was blown away from the service, food and energy of the restaurant! The owner gave us the whole run through and we ended up ordering the family platter of kebabs! Each one was cooked very well and seasoned to perfection. The rice and hummus were very good and well made! It reminded me of my father's cooking! I definitely will return for more!

This is a most amazing Middle Eastern restaurant in the valley. They offer authentic Lebanese dishes. The restaurant run by the family. You can definitely sense love and respect to the customers. The restaurant is very clean it does have a little grocery store inside as well with lots of middle Eastern items. You will love everything you can get here. Their menu is great and they do not have any issues substituting things to your liking.

The food was plentiful and tasted great. I got the kefta and kabob plate. It came with a good chopped salad, hummus, French fries and rice. The service is order on a kiosk and pick up at the counter. My only issue. They pile all the food on a plate so things mix together. Also the fries were cold but had they been hot I'd gave given them 5 stars. The ambience is carry out in one side and kinda restaurant slash store on the other. A bit confusing.

We came to Pita Valley after seeing it all over TikTok and Instagram, especially for the crispy chicken shawarma wrap. We love Mediterranean food, so we were genuinely excited to try it. When you walk in, you order at an iPad kiosk and get a number, then sit wherever there's space. Not a huge deal, but the tables had plastic wrap over tablecloths, which was honestly pretty off-putting and made the whole place feel kind of... questionable. We ordered the crispy chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel plate, which came with hummus, salad, fries, and a side of pita. When our number was called, my husband grabbed the food. The falafel plate came out first. The fries were actually pretty good, but there was barely any hummus on the plate, and the salad looked sad and unappealing. I took one bite and that was enough. The falafel itself seemed undercooked. The flavor was just okay, but the texture was weird and not in a good way. The wrap came out shortly after. The wrap was definitely crispy, which was nice, but beyond that it was honestly just okay. The meat was super bland and lacked seasoning. Crispy alone isn't enough to save it. Overall, I truly don't understand the hype. For all the buzz this place gets online, the food was underwhelming at best. If I'm craving Mediterranean food in Tempe, I'd much rather go to Green Corner and actually enjoy my meal

I have been going to this restaurant since December and I failed to review it because I did not want too many people to overtake one of my favorite places. If you like Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, they do it well here. The entrance can be a bit challenging since there are three doors. When I first arrived, there was a bit of confusion with where to order, since there is a kiosk and a menu board with a station that divides the dining area. But while the layout may be a bit unorthodox, It does not detract from the service nor the enjoyment of the meal. All the food fresh and they spend time making sure it is prepared well. You can see the quality in their finished product and taste the difference. They have two vertical spits of beef and chicken, and the beef often does not last to the end of the day. I highly recommend their chicken Shawarma and the garlic sauce is phenomenal. The soft bread is also a winner. They also have hummus and homemade pickles. I also have used their business for a catering lunch, and the food was prepared on time and people enjoyed the taste. I would also recommend the opportunity to try some of the snacks, drinks, and of course, baklava that they offer at their establishment. please be nice as the brothers are often working hard preparing the food and their dad is at the register. He used to live in NYC.

Our expectations were a little higher, but the food was good. The staff was super nice and explained everything (it was our first time); highlight of the place. Regarding the food, nothing special. We got the crispy version and would recommend the soft and traditional one. The inside could have had a little more sauce (it was a little dry sometimes). It felt like a crunch wrap from Taco Bell. Fries were ok too; nothing special. Place was clean and big.

Stopped in here for lunch and it was a little busy, but not too bad. You don't order at the counter. There's a kiosk on the back wall where you select your food and pay through the kiosk. You seat yourself and they call your number from your order when it's ready for you to pick up from the counter. One issue we found with this is that our meals apparently don't come with any pitas, so we wanted to go back and order a couple of pitas on the side, but the kiosk doesn't provide that as a standalone option. I got some tabbouleh and it was delicious. There was a lot of it too! I got the mixed shawarma platter with 1/2 garlic sauce and 1/2 hot sauce. It was really good. I enjoyed every bite and liked the option to get 2 different kinds of shawarma. They also had a nice variety of baklava that I was really tempted to try. They looked so good. I'll have to try them next time.

This was located in a very non-descript strip mall. I had a lot of high hopes for this place based on other Yelp reviews. After eating here, I'm not so sure how they get such high marks. The ordering system is a kiosk in the very corner of the restaurant. If it wasn't for the line that was there, I would never have seen it. It was definitely a little confusing. There is absolutely no interaction with anyone from the restaurant. After ordering from the kiosk and asking to print the receipt as per the button on the kiosk, there was no place in which you can pick up the receipt. We ordered the Pita Valley Platter and waited , and waited, and waited for our order. 40 minutes later, they called my number and the food was already luke warm. The hummus and parsley salad was ok. I've had better. We had 4 different types of meat... Chicken, beef, lamb, and a beef Kafka. There were about 4 pieces of each meat about the size of a chicken nugget. These were all topped on the yellow rice which was delicious. The meats were really dry but the yogurt dressing was def needed to moisten the items. We also ordered a piece of the baklava which was a very small piece - 2 bites at best. We paid about $30 for the entire meal. I really wanted to like this place but the wait time was horrible. I can't imagine if there was a lunch rush, how they would do with people trying to eat and run back to work. If you go, please be prepared to wait a LONG time for your food. I hope they can figure things out and deliver faster service.

I wanted to love this place but just couldn't. Fast casual restaurant where you order at a kiosk and they call your number when your food is ready. The rice was sadly hard and the pita was raw and undercooked. I've heard such amazing things and maybe they were just having an off day.

This is a family-owned Lebanese spot, and the owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming! They're also very patient in explaining the dishes to me and always make great recommendations! We tried the Pita Valley Combo Plate ($27.99), and it easily fed about 5-6 adults. Definitely a great deal! I also had the Sojok Wrap, and it was sooo good! It's grilled ground beef mixed with sausage spices. The portion is a bit small though, so you might want to grab two if you're very hungry Their Zaatar and Cheese Pie is another favorite! It is basically flatbread topped with zaatar (a blend of herbs and spices). Just note, they only serve it until 2 PM! Seating is decent, but the space is a little tight if you're coming with a large group.

Such a friendly environment as soon as you walk in! Always smiling faces with a big WELCOME! The meats are always cooked to order and fresh as can be! DONT FORGET THE GREEN SAUCE! If you like spice, their green sauce is so freaking good! Been here before and decided it's been a while since I left a review for my pita valley friends! They ever have a market now attached to the restaurant with international items and halal meats! If you are in Tempe, definitely recommend for fresh high quality food! read more

Everything was ridiculously fresh. Had the fried cheese, and it was salty and melty and crispy and magical. Mo's way sojok with cheese bread had the perfect balance of flavor. Namoura with cheese was such an unexpected dessert. Melty cheese with semolina cake and honey. With our the salt from the cheese, it could have easily been too sweet but it was really balanced. Hole in the wall kind of vibe here, I drive down University rd all the time and only just now found out about this place and oh my gosh is this place so good. The place seems family owned, the guy at the front is very chill and is more than happy to help explain what they have if it's your first time. I usually get the family platter which feeds about 4-5 since I'm always here with friends or family. You can choose which types of skewers you like but I usually just get a few of everything. They have chicken, sirloin (i think), kafta, and sojok skewers. My personal favorite is the kafta which is like a ground beef garlic parsley kind of skewer. 12/10 and their rice is amazingly seasoned. I won't lie it can be a little pricey but especially with a big group, getting the platter is worth it. read more

Have you tried their manaeesh? Or pies? They are delicious. The dough is made fresh by "mom" so it is the best! Every thing is baked to order so the wait can be a little long. Call in advance if you are in a rush. They have zaatar, cheese, zaatar and cheese and meat (Lahm b ajeen). Also try their spinach pies, delicious! I got them fresh today. I am from Chicago and know good Lebanese food. I have to say I am so glad I stopped in and had lunch here. After just looking at the quality of food I knew this was going to be great! Staff was super friendly and I had an excellent healthy and tasty lunch! I ordered the chicken shwarma sandwich and it was the best shwarma in the valley! Sorry no pic as I enjoyed it way too much to take a picture. I also had a pistachio baklava and it too was amazing! I was going to order a fountain drink but opted for a Lebanese imported soda which was really good and naturally made. The restaurant is clean with plenty of comfortable seating. I can't wait to come back and explore the menu as they seem to have some unique options. Try this place you won't be disappointed!!!! read more

Read the reviews of this restaurant and very good reviews. We went there since we were in the area and wanted to try different cuisine from what we normally get. Our experience was excellent like most of the reviews. The family was working very well together and the man who took our order and prepared it was very nice and professional. The place was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. I had a plain beef kebab with the garlic sauce and it was wonderful. Will definitely go again when in that area. Found this place while scrolling through social media and constantly trying to find places that make knafeh from scratch! It's located in this small rundown plaza, but don't let that fool you! Once you enter through the doors, you'll find the restaurant on the left and a small marketplace with more seating on the right. I was greeted by one of the sons who help run the family business. He not only took the time to explain what they had in their sweets case for the day but also was excited to share the history behind the various types of khaneh. I never knew there were so many different variations! Then he pulled a tray out of freshly made, still-warm rice pudding. Apparently, these were just made by his mom in the back - so in other words, how can you get more scratchmade and authentic than that? And how can you get better small family business customer service than when the dad checks you out? You can't! Ultimately, I got the chicken kebab pita wrap ($8 for.four pieces of meat with onions, tomatoes, pickles, garlic sauce, and hot sauce as optional) and a few sweet things to try. Maybe it is personal preference, but although the meat was tasty, I wish the wrap was fuller and/or stuffed with lettuce as well. The khaneh with cheese was amazing and would be what I come back for. I would pass on the caramel custard cup next time (super dense) but would get the rice pudding again if I wanted something a tad sweet to end my meal. Overall, this place is worth checking out! I would like to love this place but the last time I got the food the rice was undercooked. I guess they maybe super busy with all orders during the special month. I usually go straight to their daily special section. The molokhia green leaf with chicken is so delicious. The ground beef in the rice is tasty. There are so many selections of desserts. I like the deep fried dough with walknut inside. Many of their desserts have tasty honey in it/on top/cover it. read more

I never really write reviews unless it's that bad... and unfortunately that's what this was. I came here like many other reviewers, for the viral chicken shawarma wrap. They have about 5 people in the kitchen running around sweating, yelling at each other, and everything seemed chaotic and unorganized. You order from just ONE kiosk screen, with no receipt at the end, so make sure you take a photo of your order number! But sadly, your order number didn't matter... they were calling numbers out of order. I had customers that ordered way after me get their orders first. It didn't take long to realize this was not looking good, and after about 40 minutes I got my food. If you're looking to grab & go you might want to think twice before ordering here just to be safe. Food quality was mid, I have never had anything with such lack of flavor in my life, and that is no exaggeration. Pro tip: If you are looking to go viral as a business, and your business becomes popular from that.. make sure you're able to provide quality service all around. read more

We love Pita Valley! Even though it is just my husband and I, we order the smaller family platter. Everything is tasty here! We are fans of kefta and chicken kabobs our platter consists of salad and protein, and hummus and babaghanoush. The stuffed grape leaves taste like how my grandmother used to make it. I am cutting down on my sugar intake but the homemade desserts look delicious. I usually imaginary eat one peice of every dessert in the case before we get our order. This place offers something for everyone 's hunger level. Thank you for always serving such lovely food and making everyone feel like family. read more

Went in on a chill Thursday night to grab a bite. The employees were so kind and quick with our food. We asked for a recommendation and they said we must try their sampler platter (as shown in picture). The meat was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and juicy. The hummus and the garlic sauce were divine and tasted fresh. And the dolmas reminded me of childhood as I grew up with Turkish family friends. The pickles were so good I asked them where they are from and GUESS WHAT?!! They have a store in the back where you can buy some Mediterranean groceries. We stocked up on pickles and Labne. We tried a shawarma too and that was pretty small for the price so we just treated it like a snack and moved on because the platter was worth the money! We will be back when we are in a nostalgic mood. read more

Was sent an IG reel of this place and definitely wanted to go support and try some of the skewers in particular. First time to try many different things so opted for the Pita Valley Combo Platter. It has 4 types of skewers, which I loved them all; tabouli, pleasantly surprised at how delicious and fresh it tasted; grape leaves and baba ghanoush- my intro to these, not for me, but maybe my taste buds needs another try again. Also tried the kibbeh for the first time. Interesting is what I'll say, but will try again another time for sure. Maybe I was expecting something else, another flavor... I loaded up on desserts and got my sugar rush with 4 kinds of baklavas! All in all, the service was impeccable, the staff was awesome, and the patrons coming in left out happy and full! read more

I stopped in today to grab some food. I am so glad I did. The customer service was excellent. I don't know their names but both gentleman were very nice and the one who helped me with the order was super helpful. The place was clean and quiet. I got a chicken shawarma & a falafel plate with some extra goodies. Everything was delicious and I mean everything. I will definitely be going back. Only food not in the pics is the grape leaves & the Knafeh (so good). Only thing I regret is not getting an extra order of hummus. read more

Authentic Lebanese fast food: fresh, flavorful, and filling. I recommend bringing a few people with you so you can share appetizers and platters and try everything, cause all of it is good! Leave room for the deserts, especially the various forms of kunefe/sweet cheese filled pastries. Whenever I am on this side of town my daughter requests 'Greek food'. I know this is not really Greek but they had pita and shawarma so we decided to try it. OMG. First off, the employees are incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. Already a winner. But then let's talk about the food. The flavors are incredible! The beef shawarma wrap is truly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The plates are a nice portion size. And lastly, this place was spotless. Even the trash cans were clean. I then had to cancel the order due to the business hours being incorrect, which counts against our cancellation rating even though it's not our fault for cancel. Uber looks up the business hours online and if it says they're open online - they ding US (even though they weren't *actually* open)! After so many times of this we risk our accounts being deactivated, which directly impacts my income - at no fault of mine. I am willing to edit my review with acknowledgement from the business owner that their hours will either be changed online - or assurance that their business will be staffed during business hours. If not - I believe this review should stay as a message to future customers, to let them know that they may end up driving across town on any given night just to be met with locked doors during active business hours :(

HUMMUS was pretty decent, creamy and smooth, I wouldn't mind buying this by the cup. It's a shame that the pita bread was so generic, it did not do the hummus justice. The rice also tasted generic. Nothing really felt authentic here. The place needs some detail cleaning really badly. There is dust all over the furniture and decor and it was unappetizing. The bathrooms smelled like a hobo encampment. The tidiness was scary. The friendly staff and hummus is all they really had going for them on my visit. It would be hard for me to comeback unless they really do an overhaul of their restaurant.
